  9. Started to pack my bag and wash the stuff to pack. I have managed to convince myself this is a meaningless pre-season friendly following on from the 1860 game in Austria and really looking forward to the trip now.

  16. Brave Aberdeen fans are being offered the chance to zipslide from the top of Pittodrie’s Richard Donald Stand all the way to the Main Stand at high speed in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. On Sunday 6 September Pittodrie will be hosting this challenging event. Macmillan Cancer Support have teamed up with Aberdeen Football Club to host the white knuckle event to raise vital funds for local people affected by cancer. The cancer charity is seeking brave individuals to take on the challenge of zipping across the full length of the pitch 60ft in the air. Aberdeen player Chris Maguire thinks the zipslide is a brilliant way of raising money for such a good cause. ‘The zipslide is going to be a fantastic event and a great way to raise funds for the vital work that Macmillan do, I think all Don’s fans should take part as it will be a great experience for them.’ All money raised will be used to support people affected by cancer. Macmillan provide medical, practical, financial and emotional support for cancer patients and their families. The charity suggests a minimum sponsorship of £100 to be raised by each participant and there are prizes for the highest sponsorship including high street vouchers and signed AFC goodies. http://www.macmillan.org.uk/Get_Involved/In_your_area/Scotland/North_Scotland/Local_events/WeLoveToZip.aspx

  19. I was at the game, unfortunately the capital 1903 bus guys wanted the radio on to hear McGhee's interview
  20. I understand why he was gloating but laughing his arse off on national radio for ages was too much for me, I'm surprised Richard Gordon never stuck the mic up his arse.
