  1. Wonder if afc will make a complaint about this, because quite frankly the Police were a disgrace:

    from RedWeb:

"The keeper was then pelted with missiles from the United end as the stewards appeared to be posted missing"

Our fans were as bad if not worse. There was more change on the penalty box than the Forth road bridge takes in during rush hour.

  2. How did Bus look when he came on?

It was hard to say, he was trying but didnt look great tbh, but it wasnt the best time to come on. Rest of the team had given up, but at least he was still trying and was better than McNamara.

  3. I can remember thinking when Miller was up front with no support to be seen once again after long ball #65, 'why the the fuck is Clark not getting up to support him' before realising he was gone. The team has been weakened with the departure of Clark, now that is saying something.

The ref had no idea what he was doing, the first Utd goal coming from the only good bit of defending Considine managed in the game was bizarrely ruled a foul. He also gave us some dubious decisions, unfortunately none of them led to us scoring a goal, possibly as we cant put in a decent ball  :hammer:

Our defending of crosses was also heart stoppingly bad.

  4. Langfield - Yes he was utter cuntage. Couldn't catch crosses and then the goals......

McNamara - Dire the first 15mins, out of position and getting run ragged. Slightly improved when we went to 3-5-1 but was gash the whole game.

Diamond - Wondering why the fuck he decided to stay!

Considine - Absolutley fucking awful, out of position and how he lasted 67 mins before being subbed is astounding.

Foster - Did not want to make tackes, could not understand how to track a player, couldnt pass.

Nicholson - Would have not noticed him before Millers sending off if it wasnt the bad passing. Was still shit when pushing forward after Millers red.

Severin - Im not too sure how to rate Severin.

Walker - Told by the guys on Sat he was good, he cant pass - hoofs in the air and passes miles from where they should be. Was willing to move and shows that making space is easy if you try.

Young - This man is not a footballer!

Miller - Silly silly second yellow, was stuck up fornt with no support for the whole time he was on the pitch.

Mackie - Hmm same as seve not too sure what to say

At least we kept it to 4, as they could have so easily increased it at the end. Players, formations, lack of substitutions lead to the shables tonight.

On a positive note we played better than we did when Hearts gubbed us 4-1 at Tynecastle a few months back.

I have to say I am disgusted with the stupidity of large numbers of our fans tonight. Yes Langfield had been pelted with many missiles and we had the moral high ground. Yes they scored and the keeper was winding up our fans but the sheer volume of missles thrown at him is utter stupidity. This continued and continued to happen, and we will be in trouble for it. Many many of our supporters are guilty of this and I am more annoyed at this than the result.

  5. ZANDER DIAMOND reckons Aberdeen have been given a huge boost because the Dundee United side they will face in tomorrow night's CIS Cup semi-final will not include Barry Robson or Grzegorz Szamotulski.

The Dons defender got the winner against Hamilton on Saturday to give the Pittodrie side a Scottish Cup victory over First Division Hamilton they did not deserve.

And he believes had United not lost midfield star Robson to Celtic and watched Polish keeper Szamotulski returnto his homeland, this week's CIS Cup tie would be even more difficult than it already is.

Zander thinks the same as we do and the arabs I know - without Robson & the mad monk they are weakened. However lets not get too complacent and lets pick up our game and have these jute minks!

    :ultras:

    p.s. weather look fine

  6. fucking nightmare draw, not least because it is the "tie of the round" and thus will be moved to some horrifically anti social (anti booze) kick off time on a saturday or sunday morning.

Atleast we should get some extra TV cash and a bigger crowd than yesterday.

Dougie Donnelly christened it tie of the round just now on the highlights.....so guess fit!

  7. In Beadles autopsy, coroners discovered something interesting about his penis. On the one hand it was average sized, on the other it was fuckin huge!

His family apparently want something simple for the funeral, for instance at the buffet at the wake will just be finger food.

  8. Aberdeen loan signings Alan Maybury and Josh Walker are in line to make their debuts against Hamilton at Pittodrie.

Jamie Smith, Sone Aluko, Richie Byrne, Karim Touzani are sidelined for the Dons, while Stuart Duff is ineligible.

Hamilton's new signings, Andrew Waterworth and James Grady, could make their debuts for the Division One side.

Simon Mensing is almost certain to return to a side that will be missing skipper Alex Neil and defender Chris Swailes through suspension.

    Mon the dons  :AFC2:

  9. Brechin City will hold an inquest into their Scottish Cup expulsion as chairman Ken Ferguson's future is decided over the next 48 hours.

Brechin were turfed out of the competition yesterday, losing their chance of a lucrative fifth-round match against Aberdeen at Pittodrie.

The SFA acted after Brechin fielded two ineligible players in their fourth-round replay with Hamilton Accies at Glebe Park on Monday. The Angus men shocked the First Division leaders by winning 2-1 after extra time.

But Brechin were fined £10,000 and ordered toreplay the tie after Accies protested about the appearance of on-loan Aberdeen attacker Michael Paton - who was not a registered Brechin player when the original tie was played at New Douglas Park on January 12, ending in a 0-0 draw.

Brechin then confessed that another player, Willie Dyer, a recent acquisition from St Johnstone, had also been ineligible.

A second emergency meeting was called by the SFA at Hampden yesterday and the committee decided to remove Brechin from the cup.

Hamilton will now travel to Pittodrie tomorrow to face Aberdeen - and will be expecting to bank more than £50,000 from the tie.

Glebe Park chairman Ferguson is the man responsible for registrations at the Angus club and has already accepted responsibility - telling fellow board members he is willing to stand down.

The Brechin committee met with a dejected playing squad in training at Perth last night to clear the air.

No decision was made on Ferguson but vice-chairman Martin Smith said some kind of action would be taken.

He said: "We will hold a meeting of the entire committee and have a full discussion into the events that have taken place. This will happen over the next few days but we will take our time before making any decisions.

"The club is completely devastated - that is a word we have used a lot this week - but we have to look to the future. We have to make sure procedures are put in place so that something like this never happens again."

Smith said Brechin have no issue with the SFA over their treatment and will accept their punishment.

There was even some relief that expulsion from the national competition supersedes the original £10,000 fine.

Brechin had feared the second replay would still go ahead and the club would be hit with another £10,000 fine for the second breach.

Smith added: "It was a fair hearing, we can have no complaints. The rules are there and we broke them. We have to face the repercussions.

"I suppose if there is any silver lining it is that the club won't receive the fine, or receive and even bigger one.

"Even the original £10,000 would have been a massive blow. The loss of that amount has a really big effect on a club like Brechin."

  10. Thought he was a free agent, but we've signed him on loan!?

Leicester defender Alan Maybury is back training with his former club Hearts.

The Republic of Ireland international has fallen out of favour at The Walkers Stadium and asked if he could train with the Tynecastle club.

Hearts' caretaker manager, Stephen Frail said the club would take the opportunity to assess Maybury, but have no immediate plans to make an offer.

Maybury joined Leicester from Hearts in 2005, but has only made three appearances for the Foxes this season.

looks like a fall out, oh well happy with that!  8)

  11. Just incase.... ::)

    Fae earlier on

Aberdeen U19 players Stuart Smith and Neil McVitie have joined Scottish Second Division side Peterhead on loan until the end of the season. The Blue Toon are now managed by former Gothenburg great Neale Cooper.

Think that is a good move for the two of them.

Also Michael Paton, who is on loan at Brechin City, has extended his loan period until the end of the season.
