Ok this time last year I was on abmad so I cant say about donstalk and cannot be arsed trawling through historic threads to find the evidence... Last year it was pretty obvious around this time that the caravan dwellers were in deep shit and very likely to get relegated. Had this happened even a season before there would have been numerous threads wi th us gloating and rippin the pish. As it was there was mild mirth at their plight but for the most it was almost apathetic even when the inevitable happened and they got flushed doon the SPFL U-bend. Yesterday they shipped 6 goals against a journeyman County side. Not a peep from any of us. Its like theyve become a total irrelevance to us, last time they took the drop was before the internet age but we revelled in their misfortune. I have to say that Tannadice was always my fave away day and I for one am missing the banter. Really hope they get their shit together quickly and get back up this season.

I think our interest in May confirms that Maddison will not be returning. 6 month loan ( which isnt really 6 months as it would be end of Jan to late May) with us paying Id guess 2k per week of his wages represents about 36k outlay. Not really a gamble imho if it fails so be it, if it works he probably scores the goals that secure 2nd or wins us the Cup in which case it more than pays for itself. At the end of the loan there may be an option to convert to permanent deal also so it gives both parties a good look at what each can offer the other. I hope you are correct. Tansey delivers a nice set piece but Draper is the nasty cunt we need against your Particks and St Johnstones. Gets a few goals every season for Caley so i think he'd get 2 or 3 more for us with the upgrade in quality we have. Downside...always good for a red card or 2 every season but then again I really wouldnt see him starting more than 15-20 games anyway, he would be a horses for courses plaar for us
