  7. Not a fan, certainly in her younger days but now i find her a bit plain and mumsy. Now Fearne Cotton would grab my attention. Spider senses tell me she would be beggin for it in every hole with various root vegetables crammed into the ones not presently occupied by Ten Caat love muscle
  8. Pittodrie can be modernised....this is a fact. The problem is it cannot be modernised to 20000 capacity in an economically viable manner. As said before, there is ample room to reroute Pittodrie Street using the car park. If that were the only obstacle then it might just have been viable. However the problem lies in what lies under the road. Gas, electricity, water, sewers, phone and cable services would all have to be rerouted too and its this that pushes Pittodrie redevelopment out of viability. So lets all get behind the move once and for all. I will certainly be investing some shekels in the share issue.

  10. Turning into a McLean thread but I'll say my piece anyway. He was bought whilst mainly playing as second striker for St Midden. McInnes instantly fires him into midfield and whilst getting used to the role his first 6 months for us were on the whole forgettable. Gets a good pre season in and instantly looks a player. Scores fairly regularly, gets a deserved Scotland call up, doesnt do badly then suddenly turns into a guy who looks more like Sunday league than Premier league. And this season gets dropped even further back in the midfield. It's yet another case of a player being ruined by McInnes. Seems as if he is too good to drop in Deek's eyes, but not good enough to play in his natural position. However overall he has reached his ceiling. Good enough to play against your St Johnstone's or Motherwell's. But will never be good enough to play against Celtic ( and possibly sevco if they get their act together as they surely will next season). And this sums Aberdeen up to a T. Comfortable to be good but no ambition to be the best.
  11. We will definately need to spend in January if we want to finish above der tribute Huns. They are utterly honking but have a big squad which will be added to and so will be able to cope with the inevitable injuries and suspensions that come second half of the season. They are also managing to win games 3 minutes or so after when the full time whistle should really have been parped. As said before, and as yesterday proved, we urgently need a big bruiser of a midfielder. Draper at ICT would do a decent job at our level. As for replacing Maddison, not really sure Ali Crawford cuts it. He is even more lightweight than Hayes but without the speed that Hayes possesses nor the keep trying attitude Hayes has even when he is having a stinker. Probably pie in the sky thinking here but I'd like the board to show some ambition and fire in a bid for John McGinn at the cabbage. £500k or so outlay with a view to cashing in 18 months later for a couple of million. Oh hang on its Milne sanctioning the spending
