  1. I'll take it but this is only papering over the cracks
  2. Wtf was Logan thinking there? He really has turned into utter dogshit these past 2 seasons
  3. How in the name of Jesus did Logan not get booked for that?
  4. Christ now Lewis is getting in on the shitshow. Then trying to pin the blame on Consi. I'm wondering what effect McKenna's actions have had on the whole dressing room
  5. Difficult to say who's been our worst player so far. Ojo? Cosgrove? McGinn? Gallagher?? Oh fuck and now Consi gives away a penalty...………….and 1-0 it is
  6. And i'm certain Dundee should just have had a penalty
  7. And now they've hit the post. Only one team is playing football and it isn't us. Usual rugby style up and unders are hiw we are approaching this. Fucking brutal
  8. Dundee should be 1 up. 2 gilt edged chances in under 60 seconds.....our defence looks ropey as fuck. McKenna certainly culpable for the second one
  9. That is absolutely what should have happened. There was no need to rush awarding a new contract
  10. Is the correct answer. £5million cash upfront or they can fuck right off
  11. Much poorer That squad had McLean and Shinnie. Rooney banging in the goals (I accept Cosgrove is also doing so right now....if he does it for 2 or 3 seasons consistently then I'll rate him alongside Rooney). Reynolds was still a class act at centre half and Logan was excellent....Logan's decline in the past 2 seasons has been horrendous. And of course Hayes at that point was at the peak of his powers.
  12. Don't think he's injured just the new manager there doesn't rate him. I think he will be out on loan come January. Sevco or Hibs is my prediction
  13. Honestly haven't got a clue what team McInnes will pick for tomorrow but wouldn't be surprised to see Calderwood's tombola getting dusted off with 4 or 5 changes from the team that started on Thursday. I'm certainly hoping McKenna gets dropped after the chaos he caused prior to Rijeka. And actually wouldn't be averse to seeing May come in from the cold. He works well in partnership with Cosgrove. Don't have any great confidence in the team right now. Can see a similar pattern to last week playing out....loads of possession but failing to convert the dominance into a comfortable advantage. If Dundee can get it to penalties it becomes a lottery. In 1-2 (Hedges, Considine)
  14. There will come a day, hopefully soon, when the financial problems now affecting quite a number of lower league English clubs starts to hit the big ones too. I'd crack open a bottle of champagne if Man City or Chelsea went down the gurgler. Obviously I hope sevco beat any of them to it though
  15. I'm with Rico on this. 2-0 down with 10 men? Needing 5 to go through? Nah not happening. Could have resulted in a horsing. And going hell for leather at them could also have resulted in injuries. I'm no McInnes fan ( I didn't want a new contract awarded) but he called it right once we went 2 down. Sadly it's all he got right since the Hearts game
  16. Villa offer was a year ago. And was a 6 month initial loan with a vague clause in it which might have resulted in a £6million deal come the January. But suspect also had a "return to sender" clause if he turned out to be shyte. Essentially they tried to get him on a 6 month trial for free. But he certainly hasn't developed much if any in the past 12 months. He has cemented himself as first pick for Scotland but that is more to do with the lack of any great competition for the place rather than any great form McKenna has shown. If Celtic offered £5million cash the I think we should snap it up. But I suspect if they do come back in it would likely be £3million plus Hendry and Hayes. And we should tell them to fuck right off with that
  17. But without the energy
  18. Rijeka are no great shakes but theyre easily good enough with us a man down. There's no point in any of our players risking injury, the tie has gone. Total sickener
  19. I'd be taking Cosgrove off to prevent him damaging his injury any more. Cos if he ends up out for a few weeks then Christ knows who is going to score for us. Board must be bitterly regretting giving Mcinnes that contract extension now. Can't afford to sack the fucker
  20. Crowd might well lynch the ref if he keeps this shitshow up. Fucking ridiculous challenge by Ojo for the sending of though. Naïve isn't the word
  21. I'd say yes. There was an article I saw yesterday that says that Celtic have a bigger turnover that all 14 clubs in the Romanian top league added together. If that's the case, they must be paying their managers relative peanuts. (of course the cost of living over there is so much cheaper than it here.....hence why you hear about all these Roma gypsies coming over here to work for national minimum wage and sending the majority of their cash home where they build palatial residences and return home after about 10 years to a life of Romanian luxury). So I'm certain we could attract Petrescu over likely for half of what we pay Mcinnes. And as you say...they'd treat us as a stepping stone to the real riches of getting a gig in England/Spain/Italy/Germany so they would definitely be motivated to well. Would also open a possible new talent market for us. However...... with the ink on Mcinnes' new contract barely dry it is something that won't be happening any time soon
  22. Aye usually about 15k for early round ties (Burnley being the obvious notable exception). I think we'll get slightly north of 17k tomorrow, just hope the team gives a performance worthy of such a crowd.
  23. Not sure they would, although by the same token I'm certain we would have put 4 past them like sevco did. Because as usual Mcinnes would have had us sitting back and absorbing the pressure. It was shite to watch....but it was working against Rijeka. Until Logan had another of his total brainfarts and gave them an opening that up to that point really didn't look like it was coming.
  24. And Linfield are sevco's Norn Irish equivalent in every sense. Including piss easy Europa League draws now also
  25. Had Cosgrove been fit, starting May alongside might not have been a bad option at all. We were at our best last season with those 2 in partnership throughout December....we scored a fair few goals in that period . Wondering who will be on penalties with no Cosgrove? GMS was back up option for penalties (and actually May was on them and hadn't missed, but got dropped when Stewart got brought back and Cosgrove inherited the job). McGinn probably?
