  1. We'd have to instantly make Wilson our highest paid player to get him onboard and I just don't think he's worth the outlay. It was patently obvious for the past 2 years that he was finished at Man U yet not one lower EPL club thought he was worth taking a punt on and when he has went on loan to the Championship, like up here he was totally underwhelming. I still believe there will be a (very) low end Championship club or top end EFL1 club willing to make him their marquee summer signing and paying him £10-12k/week which would certainly take us out the equation. However I think he is a classic "too much too soon" case and now being a multi millionaire hasn't really got the drive to really push himself to get to the top level in football. Outside bet? Salford City make him an offer he can't refuse as their mega marquee signing.....
  2. Definitely good enough, just not quite as good as Robertson. Typical Scotland to have 2 world class players at the same time for the first time in decades and both play the same feckin position... And £15 million is a joke. Robertson is reckoned to be valued at £60-80 million now.....Tierney is certainly worth half that
  3. Feel for the quines but only Scotland could find a way to lose a 3 goal lead with 18 to play. Horrendous defending for all 3 Argie goals and comedy goalkeeping for the second. Ref should be fired though. Totally lost control at the end and how the 6 minutes to VAR wasn't added on just baffles me. It's still shite though
  4. You're hopeful. Fwiw I cant see anyone wanting him except maybe back in Ireland but we would need to cover 75% of his wages for that to happen. He's not a bad player just slow and with stamina difficulties but when we are needing to sit on a slim lead with 30 minutes to go he's a decent bench option to shore up the midfield. For that alone I think we will keep him for the last year of his contract' Bryson I think will stroll it up here....great signing and if there are fitness doubts about Devlin then I think he might even be made captain. Hibs and Hearts forums in a bit of a meltdown over too as an extra bonus
  5. I think he will rock up at Hibs once Portsmouth goes tits up
  6. You'd think that between 150-250 will want to make the trip. Surely a charter will be arranged?
  7. Nah...2hrs30 flight time.
  8. Killie get the loons we are playing in a friendly....Connahs Quay Nomarks or something Sevco likely to be heading off to Kosovo. Has their new kit got inbuilt Kevlar bulletproof vests?
  9. Id've preferred all yellow a la the Admiral kit of the late® 70s but it's only for a year and at least it isn't blue
  10. Rovaniemi has its own airport...its where the kiddies Santa flights go at Xmas so doubt there would be any problem flying into there in July....
  11. Yep Finland for me ana
  12. Now I've finally found a women's game that I'm actually loving....Holland v Cameroon. The quality is really just as bad as the rest but theyre having a right old go at each other and in some cases actively trying to put the opposition in hospital
  13. Celtic are claiming the agent has been touting Turnbull around English clubs trying to get him a better deal. I've got a healthy hatred of all agents but suppose he's just doing his job. Could spectacularly blow up in the player's face though if he gets nothing down south, starts the season with 'Well and snaps a cruciate.
  14. Celtic saying that it is Turnbull's agent that has caused the problem. deal not dead...yet...but that they are "ready to move on from the deal" Still think he will sign on
  15. Pull one back...stunning strike actually but only 2 minutes to go...too little too late methinks
  16. Brexit Party cease to exist once Brexit happens. They are all natural Tory voters and are only protesting at Parliament's inability to deliver on what the referendum demanded they did. They won't want to split the Tory vote thereafter and let someone else in the back door in a subsequent General Election. Boris as PM I think would be the man to ensure that the UK splits into it's constituent parts. We would definitely go our own way in a referendum and there's talk of a NI referendum being the only way to resolve the Brexit backstop question. With us gone I think there's a reasonable chance that they'd choose to join a united Ireland. Wales will get there in the end too
  17. Only reason I can come up with for sevco signing him is purely to deny us of his services. And for that we should be eternally grateful. He'll tan them for about £8k/week with absolutely zero return for the layout.
  18. Eye bleeding stuff. "nd game in a row they've had a really soft penalty given against them but you can just see that their brains are thinking the right thing but their feet just cannot act on the idea
  19. And more importantly...no gain to sevco. Just cannot see him being anything other than a bit part player. He would probably do fairly well coming off the bench with half an hour to go and sevco already 2 or 3 up but just cannot envisage him ever being a starter. And I reckon he will be punted out on loan if not in January then certainly this time next year.
  20. As much as I find the product soporific, the manager Shelley Kerr has really impressed me and I hope that she gets a well deserved try out at a league club. Obviously the top teams wouldn't take that risk but something around mid Championship level should definitely take the risk. And if she did well at that level.....then your Motherwell's etc start to take notice.
  21. Ant the Sun going with Ball having pulled the plug on us....
  22. Just cannot get interested. Would rather watch an U15 loons game tbh Reason....same as I wouldnt watch Eastenders or Corrie. Utter tripe. As for being politically correct....yeah I think that is partally what's going on. Don't think we will see men's netball getting an airing anytime soon
  23. They're taking a flyer. Not a hope in hell we will paying a fee for him, reports that he's interesting some Yank team in Cincinnatti...may be a bit more legs in that one given his father was a US international.
  24. Agree about Allan but supposedly he had his heart set on joining Hibs...he thought Celtic were releasing him last summer but for whatever reason suddenly reneged on it and asked for a fee.
  25. Putting it in simple terms....it saves any investor from having to do what career criminal King had to do at sevco a few months back (having delayed for over a year and as it turns out not enough shareholders were interested in selling anyway)
