ffs another double!!

As I said in other threads....it was mentioned on hun boards that they were out of contract. Vast majority of orcs don't want either of them. One of them was on the Clyde Superscoreboard phone in on Saturday evening, suggested Shinnie would be a good signing. Utterly poo pooed by arch hun Alex Rae who said he "is not of the required standard for sevco"
-
Only thing left on his CV that needs filled is international management. His own country I doubt could ever win a World Cup so I doubt he would manage them for now but Spain or Italy could be viable. Or indeed, Brazil as he speaks the language. Saw he was linked with a return to Inter but surely that would be a retrograde step
-
If that were true then if it were purely a cash decision we won't see them for dust. Shinnie was an oldco fan as a young loon but GMS with his Celtic links? Doubtful he would want to put up with the shit living in the Weeg doing that would attract and I'm sure a fair chunk of the sevconian support wouldn't be very happy. Foreby that, they both know that the hostility they'd face from our support would mean that like Ryhun, they'd never be able to return to live in the city again. GMS, not being a local might tolerate that but I just dont see Shinnie allowing that circumstance to occur.

DM saying in the Retard that he is still hopeful that they will both sign extensions, but that if they do intend leaving he thins they owe it to him and the club to say so by early January so we can plan ahead. But he won't be putting an ultimatum to either of them should they choose to say nothing. Personally I'd be telling them if they haven't told him they're intending to re-sign by the end of the Dubai trip, that we are actively sourcing their replacements and our offers are withdrawn. Shinnie is a great captain and has a fantastic attitude even when he is playing shit.....fact is he considers himself a midfielder but as such he is fairly bog standard and I'd imagine easily replaced. GMS has been brilliant this season and I'd suspect far harder to replace. Jordan Jones at Killie is probably the obvious option but he's been linked with a move to Swansea and more recently sevco....
-
Predicted in November Shinnie's destination is at a promoted Sunderland for wages we cannot get near to matching.....i aint wavering from that. GMS.......well I guess his agent must know of interest from somewhere but I've always thought of him as being too lightweight to be a success in England, certainly in the top 2 leagues anyway. Nothing to base this on other than a gut feeling but I think France could be a good destination for him.

Theres a few posts on this in both the Hat and Abmad. Confirming your info.....Lowe back to derby Jan, GMS/Shinnie for the off......of the two Shinnie being the more likely to sign an extension but very doubtful. Also final £1.5million for training centre now in place through new shares being allocated.

there was a thread on this in swallow swallow last week. Someone saw it, put 2 and 2 together and made a turd cake. Totally unsubstantiated poppycock of the back of one hun noticing that they are both out of contract in the summer and saying that sevco should sign them.... And it didnt go down too well with his fellow orcs....... File under pish

Been watching Derby v Forest. Given that Derby's first and second choice left backs are out injured long term....Forsyth finished for the season and the other one more than likely in the same boat......I've been paying attention to the guy that's got the jersey now (Malone). And to be frank......he's f@ckin root. Can only hope Lampard splashes out on a replacement in January and lets Lowe continue his education up here but suspect that's a forlorn hope. Lowe is light years ahead of Malone and fully expect him to get recalled the minute the clock strikes 12 on Auld Year's Nicht

The Hat reckon McLennan out 8-12 weeks with torn hamstring so there's one change. (FWIW they also reckon we won't see either GMS or Devlin till after the January break......Devlin apparently down in London seeing a specialist today) I've been advocating resting Ferguson from after the sevco game but as he is now suspended for the Livi game prior to the break probably just keep him going now although I'd be fine with him starting on the bench against Dundee and leaving him there if everything goes ok but bringing him on after 55-60 if things not going to plan. Wright I guess has to replace McLennan but this really has to be his last chance. If he doesn't take it punt him out on loan to a Championship club in January. 2-0 May (pen), Logan

Naismith will be back for Hearts on Saturday. He only didn't play against Livi because of the plastic pitch. Djoum will be suspended though which is good news. Celtic have definitely regressed of that there is no doubt. Self inflicted by not having a replacement signed for Dembele leaving them hopelessly short up front, compounded by the Griffiths situation, also failing to meet Hivs valuation on John McGinn.....an extra £500k and he would have been their player (and in turn Christie would have been ours.....bastards). However talk of us mounting a challenge is just pie in the sky. Even adding 3 players......a striker, a number 10 and a right wing back/winger, Celtic will fill the vacancies in their squad with players of far better quality than we will. They will continue to suffer the odd defeat away from home (I don't think sevco will beat them all season, we might once) but come season's end they will be at very least 12-15 points ahead of the team in second place. Slippy G will ship out a few of his duds and sevco will give him some more cash to spend on the never never.......if they contrive not to finish second it really should be a sackable offence but he would cost a fortune to punt so will be allowed to continue into next season whatever. We certainly won't finish second again with the current squad.....but with the 3 additions I mentioned it might just be realistic..on the number 10 it would appear Hivs are making Allan their top target for January.....really hope the board allow DM to push the boat out a bit to get him on board
-
Yeah they held on all of 2 minutes before going behind Still a decent day all round with the dhims losing and sevco hardly setting the world on fire at home to Hamilton. Get the points on Tuesday then I fancy Hivs to at least get a draw off sevco Wednesday

Dirthy Filthy Hun Scumbag Vermin (deceased) and Poundland tribute act
Ten Caat replied to mizer's topic in Football Chat
It was first mentioned on radio news on Friday that he was "unsettled" and that Slippy G planned talks with him yesterday. Was a topic of discussion yesterday evening on Radio Clyde football phone in literally minutes after it was announced that his loan had been cut short and he has returned to Liverpool. All the pundits were talking about was that it was best for all parties concerned (including for the player's mental health). Absolutely no mention at all of racist abuse. -
I said he was awful in the first half. Was much improved in the second half, maybe I was doing him a disservice as really the whole team were poor first half and all improved in the second. Guessing it was down to the conditions....wind was blowing mainly across the field but was slightly against first half and slightly helping in the second. DM should be telling him that as he (Shinnie) is keeping his options open for we are now assuming he will not be resigning and as such we are now actively trying top source his replacement. Consequently if we find a suitable candidate and he agrees a pre-contract, Shinnie's offer is then off the table. Also, the minute he confirms he is intending to leave under freedom of contract, the captaincy should be handed to someone else (Devlin being the obvious candidate). He should continue to be selected though, as I do think he has enough respect for the club that he wouldn't let his performance level/effort drop

FT 1-2 Both full backs excellent but my m.o.m Cosgrove Held ball up well, won plenty headers and got the winner. Ferguson badly needs rested Well beat St J so up to 4th now COYR
-
Pitch is in amazing condition despite the battering from constant sleet all game. Looks even heavier than when game kicked off. Ball on for May
-
And May shooting from 35 yards.....playing well again
-
Yaaaaaaaaaaaassssssss Cosgrove now becoming prolific
-
1-1 HT May scores with penalty after 30 mins, St Boo equalise 5 minutes later with our defending at a free kick absolutely atrocious. Ferguson, Shinnie nae great......Ferguson booked now banned for Livi away on 29th.....he really needed a rest last week or today he will get it now but too late imo. Conditions horrendous, we need to win this one however ugly
-
His interview on bbc yesterday. Says he is going to take his time and speak to his wife before deciding on whether to sign or not...... General tone looks like he is going to see what offers he gets in January but I agree it does seem like he is for the off. His attitude will be missed but as a midfielder his skillset is fairly bog standard so he will go with my thanks and best wishes but utterly unconcerned that a replacement of similar standard at least can't be sourced
-
This game's got everything! Fartz keeper wipes out Livi player in Hearts box....penalty!. Ref then pulls out yellow card followed by red card for Hearts keeper......hadn't been booked previously Ref then rescinds the red card on behalf of the SFA......Livi score penalty ........1-0 60 seconds later Djoum wipes out livi player at half way line......yellow card followed by red card........correctly this time 60 seconds later......2-0 And as I write this....3-0 Best game I've seen all season (and ours the other night wasn't bad) Make it 4-0
