  1. Livi 0-0 Fartz at HT No idea how the game is goalless, Livi dominated 1st half, so many chances to score but combination of hitting post and jambos keeper making unbelieveable saves has ensured parity remains. Could do with Livi winning this.
  2. He will get a free ride this season.....and has actually ensured the sevco myth will survive at least another 2 years without going bust due to the European run......albeit with a bizarrely easy draw in the first 4 rounds. Next season the sevco board will demand a trophy. Following season he has to prevent 10IAR. I think he will be gone in 12-15 months time, probably electing to walk before he is pushed as the orc hordes turn on him when 9IAR is almost secured

  4. Can see no other outcome now than a total postponement of Brexit. Followed by a general election as the Tories self implode. I can see the Tory party splitting into 2 separate parties in the not too distant future. One a centrist, less radical, pro European party. The other advocating a fairly hard brexit and probably inviting the remnants of UKIP to join forces (for those who are outside the UK or have been holidaying on Jupiter, UKIP has in the past few months been infiltrated by new members closely affiliated with the BNP resulting in recent resignations from the party of (in UKIP terms) fairly high profile members including Farage).
  5. We have a perfectly good left back just waiting to take over in the event that Derby recall Lowe. Our esteemed manager just refuses to play him there.
  6. I'd absolutely love to punt the players in question. However I also live in the real world. Players have contracts and won't move on unless they are getting at least an equivalent deal elsewhere. But do you really think ANY clubs will be interested in the Gleeson/Tansey/Forrester triumvirate? Of the 3 I think Tansey might be the easiest to get rid of despite him being unable to get a spot on our bench. Ross County were reportedly interested in August but his wages put them off. Of the 3 he will be the least paid by us...I'd guess around the £2-3k/week mark. I have no doubt the club would be happy to subsidise 50% of that for the 18 months he has left to get him out the door. The other 2 are a far different kettle of fish though. Both will be in our top 6 earners as the clubs where they came from both pay more than us in general. Gleeson has some talent but is slow and overweight. I really only thin he joined us because A) He had no other offers and B) He thought he'd piss it in a diddy league. I can see no prospect of any club in any league wanting him. So fully expect him to be with us until his contract runs out. He will get some game time but generally will be a bench warmer. Forrester.....where do I begin? Peterborough will be ending themselves that they got us to shell out £200k for him. Reports of a League of Ireland club being "interested" but only Dundalk or Cork City could get close to even paying half of what we are.....and he's got 3 and a half years left on his contract. I guess we would accept writing off his transfer fee and paying £2k/week to get him out but I doubt the Irish clubs would be willing to pay the balance of his wages so to get him out the player himself I think would have to accept a cut in his wages. With what happened recently re his sister it's possible he might be willing to do that but I wouldn't hold my breath. Ball has a loan agreement till the end of the season.....it will not be getting cut short. And I repeat.....McGeouch will not be coming in on loan in January
  7. You cannot just cancel a loan whenever you feel like it.....there may be a break clause if the player suffers an injury but Ball is with us to the end of the season whether you like it or not. As is Hoban.... Tansey has 18 months left on his contract, as has Gleeson. Forrester has........oh ffs let's not go there A lot of posters on here (and other forums) when they don't fancy a player/players just say "punt so and so". Well it isn't quite as easy as that. McGeouch will NOT be in an Aberdeen jersey this season. Get used to it
  8. I'd be tempted to throw Ball in at centre half beside McKenna as Consi has been a liability past 2 games, he played CH for sevco a few times when he was there. Otherwise yes go with the second half line up to start even if GMS is deemed fit......he can come on around the 70th minute to ease him back in gently (or half time if things going really badly).
  9. Aye Higgins was a wife beater and I'm sure issued a death threat to Dennis Taylor in the 80s. Cretin of a human being, undeniably a genius on occasion but ruined his life and health with alcohol and smoking.
  10. Think she will win tonight but if her majority of victory is less that 50 I thin she's a busted flush and will resign anyway. As a pro independence voter I probably take a very different view to the vast majority of similar voters in that I have been pro Brexit from the start. This is because it gave the SNP leadership a very good excuse to hold a further indyref a few years down the line from brexit. Scotland voted to remain but is being taken out against our will. Once we were out we would be able to see the tangible benefits of being in Europe that we were now being denied in the case of a hard brexit, or the utter shambles of a soft brexit where we essentially remain in Europe but without a voice. Whatever happens tonight, Article 50 will be postponed, perhaps indefinitely. Can see no other outcome than a new referendum (which will infuriate those that voted brexit in the last one).......or more likely a general election in the Spring where the Conservatives stand on a Brexit ticket and making clear that a Hard brexit will happen unless Europe renegotiates and Labour/SNP/LibDem/Others on a remain policy.
  11. Cosgrove "dive" was definitely a foul. Just outside the box but their defender was last man, clear goal scoring opportunity so would have been red but Thompson bottled it and took the easy option. Twice in a week Cosgrove has been unfairly punished for fouls committed against him with no recourse for appeal
  12. Night and day between the performances in either half. Could and really should have been 5, no idea how Consi contrived to miss the header and May should've scored not long after. McGinn, Cosgrove, May all very good but McLennan deservedly m.o.m Consi poor and Lewis looked shaky. All very quiet on Devlin situation need him back asap but have a horrible feeling he might be out for a while Need 3 points Saturday to continue the recovery from St J
  13. Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaasssssssssssssssssssssssss
  14. Thompson fucks up again. Wasnt a penalty but Cosgrove was def fouled and shouldve been red card May having his best game all season just needs a goal
  15. FFS Considine
  16. Cosgrove!! McLennan been the difference
  17. Turning into a rugby match which suits Livi down to the ground
  18. Eskimos in the Arctic Circle knew that Ferguson needed a rest and that Wright it utter horse shit. I wanted McInnes out in January. I certainly don't trust him to spend any cash the board release next month wisely. If McKenna goes, use the cash to pay off DM and get Clarke in before an English Championship club do
  19. Fuck sake Booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
  20. Consi at fault yet again
  21. Good start, May should possibly have scored after 3 minutes decent save by keeper tho Oh ffs 1-1
  22. McGeouch is supposedly on £8k/week down there so it would need to be heavily subsidised to start with. But I doubt Sunderland nor the player himself would be ready to give up on it down there just yet and anyway to my mind is too similar in style to Shinnie/Ball/ Gleeson/Ferguson. It's more a right winger/wing back we require......Chris Cadden would be my choice but even that comes second to getting in a proper number 10.
  23. Until he equals Hendry's 7 World Championships he will forever remain second best in my book. O'Sullivan is playing in an era where there are ranking tournaments almost every single week of the year all around the world. Hendry won all his titles when IIRC there were only 10 ranking tournaments per year plus a handful of Masters tournaments (I do accept O'Sullivan only plays a limited schedule but it's at least 15 ranking tournaments in a year) I'd concur with Federer being the greatest of all time.....his titles have been achieved when his main rivals (Nadal and Djokovic) are possibly the 2nd/3rd greatest ever players....and even Murray has a shout at being the 4th best ever (I believe Murray at his peak would have beaten Borg/McEnroe/Connors at theirs)
