Yep I'd be happy to give him a couple of years. Think he might well prove to be a regular, certainly in the first season if, as I expect, Shinnie decides to head for pastures new in the summer.

Was openly bisexual (supposedly went 100% gay in later years)......the song as you have probably gathered is all about gay sex but far more explicit than FGTH's "Relax". He was totally effeminate in a punk band.....brave thing to do in the late 70s.

Pete Shelley of the Buzzcocks. Only 63 Writer and performer of the best 12" club track ever (and dirtiest too) Young eens if you have never heard it (or of it) look up Homosapien......was played for years in every club throughout the land in the early to late 80s

He will get this season as a free run. Do not expect them to be within 12 points of Celtic by season's end. However der Hunboard are notoriously fickle and will definitely expect a trophy next season of some sort.....I think an empty trophy cabinet in May 2020 will see him binned. Although he might twig on to the idea he's flogging a dead horse before then and walk sooner rather than let his fledgling managerial reputation be sullied any further. Should he somehow deliver a trophy next season ( still don't think it will be the league so barring an almost miraculous season by us or any other team it will be 9IAR) he will still be under no illusion that 10IAR will not be tolerated. Personally........I reckon he will be gone by Feb/March 2020 at the latest

Absolutely fantastic result every single player bust a gut for the badge. Logan gets my m.o.m but all the back line were heroic. Especially pleased for Consi, Ball and even the unfairly sent sent off Cosgrove. Whenever any one of those 3 gets selected a certain section of our fanbase starts moaning that they ain't good enough blah blah. Well like them or like them not, our squad is small compared to the cheeks and even Hearts....these guys are going to have a role to play all season. As said by others.....results really couldn't have went any better for us in the other games (well Livi getting something at Killie would have been nice but not going to complain) Lets start reeling in the teams above us now, starting with St J at the weekend. Cant see any way Ball won't start over Wright. And McGinn over Cosgrove. Up top not sure if DM will play safe and start May or take a punt on Anderson.

Dont forget to put plenty butter on your hoop prior to starting then Oh and don't forget rules regarding KFP's wife......

Seems to have been sudden and unexpected so can't use it as an excuse for how things have gone so far. Still a tragedy for the loon. Celtic V Aberdeen League Cup Final - Sunday 2nd Dec

100% in agreement with Rocket here. Having watched replays of the goal 6 times the person who is culpable here is Shinnie. I have no doubt his head was possibly still scrambled after witnessing the GMS incident and the whole team was just doing their damnedest to get through to half time. Shinnie switched off and lost his man. Consi was following instructions to the letter by tracking Edouard. Logan does spot the danger but cannot risk over committing too early and leaving a huge space on his side where Sinclair was rapidly heading into. RS is also correct in saying that Shinnie just is not of the required standard to fill a midfield role for us. Too often he is the one where we are in possession and he is at fault for losing it......Ball seems to get most folks' ire for this but Shinnie is at least at fault as often and I'd say more. ls also far too one footed. Said it before and I'll say it again.....I thin Shinnie is for the off at season's end anyway but any new contract offer we are to put before him should be on the basis that he plays left back and left back only, except in emergency situations. -
Still hoping we can beat Hivs to getting Scott Allan in from the Dhims. That would be number 10 sorted. Fuck knows what random centre forward the McInnes tombola will come up with though. If McKenna gets sold then we should have enough cash to at least bid for Moult but whether he (or more pertinently his burd) would consider moving back to Scotland is another matter.

Have a feeling Devlin will still be missing for this one. Defence were fine against Celtic so no changes there. Midfield also did well and going man for man limited Celtic's creativity. Sevco aren't as good as Celtic but I think using the same tactics would stifle them and get the orc hordes turning on them if they haven't scored by the hour mark. McLennan definitely deserves a start, sevco's weaknesses are down both flanks and I reckon he could tear either Tavernier or Flanagan a new one. Up front is our big dilemma. Personally I don't want to see Wilson get another minute on the park till he fucks off. I think sevco would love us to play Cosgrove, their central defenders are huge but have no great pace but could easily handle anything Cosgrove could throw at them. Easy thing to do would be to start May who would give them no peace but I think it's time we need to see if Anderson sinks or swims and give him the start. If he is ineffectual we can always throw May on in place of him after 60 minutes. With No Devlin and GMS getting a point out of this one would be a decent result I think

Coming from Peterborough where they don't pay pennies to their players.........Jason Naismith went there in the summer in preference to us (we couldnt match what they are paying him)........Forrester is going to be in our top 5 or 6 earners, I'd imagine at least £4k/week but maybe even more. I'm sure we would write off the £200k transfer fee to get him out but a League of Ireland club.....even Dundalk....I doubt could even pay half of what we are shelling out every week. I agree that there's no smoke without fire but to get him out we are going to have to rely on either the player himself agreeing to cancel his contract with us (unlikely) or accept that as well as writing off the transfer fee, we may well have to subsidise his wages elsewhere to quite a substantial degree. Whoever scouted him should be tarred and feathered....

Celtic V Aberdeen League Cup Final - Sunday 2nd Dec

Cross into Celtic box by Shay, GMS heads it goalward but easily saved. However Boyata also dives for the ball and connects with GMS right on the napper. GMS immediately spark out, Shinnie calling for medical team and stretcher immediately......stretcher team saunter on about 45 seconds later tho both team docs got there pdq. Boyata hobbles off groggily and gets stitched up pitchside whilst GMS still unconscious loaded onto stretcher. Apparently he regained consciousness in the ambulance on way to hozzy. No updates as yet but as I've said before I really don't expect to see him back prior to the January break. Celtic score in the 5th minute of the 6 minutes added time at end of first half EDIT....should've said that I've seen some of our supporters saying Boyata should've walked for the challenge. There were no replays at all of the incident far less close ups but I honestly think it was pure bad luck by 2 committed players going for the ball absolutely no malice intended by Boyata. -

Ball absolutely the best of the midfielders today, defence all played well.....Lowe my m.o.m..........GMS did look threatening till his horror injury, hope he's alright but sadly doubt we will see him again before the January break. Not going to have a go at DM for our tactics. It was infinitely better to watch (except the scoreline obv) than our semi against sevco. Shows that the correct tactics against the Dhims is to have a go. Hopefully more of the same Wed night against sevco. McLennan showed enough to warrant keeping his place. Stand Free -
Your rating of -1690 sums you up perfectly. Feck off to sevco media. There's hunnery pouring out of your every sweat gland

I bet your woman pegs your arse every night with a 10 inch strap on then sends you out to sleep in the shed....

What is "phycology"?

To be fair United were embarrassingly bad. May would also have got 4 against them and Cosgrove at least 2...

Make it 5!

Celtic V Aberdeen League Cup Final - Sunday 2nd Dec
Ten Caat replied to Chris Frae Killie's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
I've got no other reason to advocate this other than gut instinct but I'd agree with starting Cosgrove up front and giving him 60-70 minutes. Hopefully we can keep the score at 0-0, then bring on May and Anderson who would hopefully be able to give their tiring defence something to think about. Consi alongside McKenna wasn't great although I honestly believe Consi was in no way culpable for any of the goals last week.......2 can be pinned on Logan and the other was a freak rebound. However I suspect DM won't go with 2 lefties in central defence again (although our greatest ever partnership were 2 righties) so if Devlin is ruled out it would not surprise me at all to see Ball line up at centre back. Starting to feel a bit more optimistic about this one now. If we can keep the honey monster quiet there's no reason why we can't win this. -
GWT actually quite reasonable. All he gets is an annual pass into Espionage and a prescription from the club doctor once a month for Viagra (extra strength)
