Also pleased for Stevie May today. Again no goals but looked far better with him on the pitch and linked play well with the midfield.
-
Agree we absolutely stole the points there but dont give a shit. DM deserves all he gets for the Forrester/Gleeson signings but Ferguson will eventually net us even more than McKenna will
-
What a free kick that was!
-
Deleted prev post looked like a deflection at first but diff angle showed it was a fantastic finish. Right lets finish them off now COYR
-
Cant really say much about Rotherham but the season he was with sevco I only remember him playing midfield, Kiernan and Wilson were their centre half pairing
-
He isn't meant to. He is a defensive midfielder and does that job far more effectively than Shinnie, who was the one today who should have been hooked
-
Ball off (having done nothing wrong) May on
-
Really won't miss Shinnie the midfielder at all if he refuses a new contract. He should only get a new offer on the basis that he plays left back. His performance level this season you have to wonder who else would be interested though. Maybe a League 1 team but not Championship level on this showing.

Devlin needs to fuck off with these 60 yard punts to absolutely no one

Fuck

Logan you utter fanny

Shinnie having a 'mare so far

We have to win this one if only to save me from gettiing my arse booted by my son....had a nine team accumulator which I told him to cash in last night after Spurs came in against Wolves.....got £220 but had he left it he had Killie and Man City today potentially rolling it up to £811. I assured him Killie would definitely not beat us today. Going for 1-3 (Wilson, GMS (pen), McKenna)

He's been on the £750k for almost a year now with around 18 months or so left on his contract. There may or may not be a release clause specifying what a club would have to cough up to secure his services but if not the balance of his salary remaining would be the usual starting point in negotiations, though in practice i think we would be doing well to get £500k. However just cannot see right now who is going to be wanting his services in the near future. EPL clubs I would say are beyond him, just not a big enough name for them to be interested. The Ipswich job that Lambert got a few days back is probably the level that might be interested in him....the WBA job will always be one he gets linked with if/when it becomes available but they are going well right now with promotion a target and if they get back up to the Premier League it again becomes out of his reach. All in all I think we are "stuck" with him till his contract runs out. This season hasn't been great (though starting to improve) but he has enough goodwill with Milne and the board that even if we were to finish 8th as we are at present his job would be perfectly safe. He gets his hands on the new training ground in the summer (W.A.N.K.S/unexpected delays permitting). A decent summer recruitment and better start in the league next season will be expected....if he does then a new contract offer will be forthcoming around this time next year. Whether or not he would sign it I have no idea. A similar start as this season and I think he would need to win one of the Cups to get an extension offer.

Yet they have had fans encouraging other fans who have trades.....sparkies, painters and decorators, plumbers etc....to come in and do work on the old shithole free gratis. Perhaps, seeing as they are adamant they are "the same club" they wouldn't mind settling up on all the tradesmen that oldco stiffed prior to it's liquidation. Sadly their European run will see them safe for another season but the debts continue to spiral with Slippy G and his band of recruits for sure going to cost a helluva lot more than Pedro's pricks or Warburton's wallies. Fuck the Sevco -
Hearts goalkeeper was punched twice. Clear footage on Tv so shouldn't be difficult for Edinburgh old bill to identify and nick the perpetrator. As for Lennon, for sure he was winding up the Hearts fans. I've got no problem with that whatsoever, he takes plenty flak and if you give it out then you have to expect it back in return. But the SFA will probably hit him with a trumped up charge resulting in a touchline ban and a hefty fine. The arsehole who threw the coin might be harder to find than the Hibs thug but hopefully he will up before the beak in the coming days too.

He has admitted when he joined us he was over a stone overweight. He got about half of it off by the time he left and was starting to look like a decent acquisition. Obviously worked hard in pre-season and got the rest off. With hindsight we would have been far better off getting him in permanently instead of Forrester (and would have got him for free saving £200k into the bargain). He is only on loan at Killie for the season and will be available to sign a pre-contract in January. It's a no brainer for me.

Aberdeen v Hamilton - Halloween fright night

Disagree. I think his big problem is he is too heavy, too slow and hasn't got the basic fitness to allow him to complete a full 90 minutes. Probably came up here thinking that having just left Ipswich he would absolutely stroll it and has found out to his horror that it is a far higher quality and higher tempo game than he ever imagined. -
Wrote him off by early September. C@nt isn't finished cos he never even started. Supposedly "hasn't settled" in Aberdeen. Presume he will be offski in January, writing off the £200k..

Theres video of it going off over on the hat. No sign of it being lobbed just the bang and the smoke

Agree that May looked better than Wilson yesterday but probably more because Wilson was just plain anonymous and perhaps even a bit disinterested. I suspect we will go with Wilson as I think Man U will have inserted a clause in his loan deal that he has to play the majority of games if he is fit. As for Anderson, his equaliser against sevco bought him a huge amount of kudos with our fans but really hasn't done much in the (limited admittedly) game time he has had since. He needs to go out on loan to a decent Championship club in January......Dunfermline or the caravan dwellers would be ideal.....to get experience and toughen him up a bit. My gut feeling is the opposite of Rico though. Just don't think he will be of the required quality long term but would love to be proved wrong. -

Not sure Lowe is going to be fit for Wednesday. Richard Gordon said on radio that he had told the bench with 20 minutes to go that hewas struggling with an injury and didn't think he would be able to see the game out. Thankfully he di but could leave us with no option but to play Shinnie left back on Wed assuming Consi won't be risked either. -
It is the BBC who choose not to go to Ibrokes because sevco banned one of their reporters.... Anyway just about choked on my cognac (on the 3rd now) some chocolate on sevco media posted....and I shit you not....Ryhun "will end up back at the sheep by any accessible route". Must be a surfeit of hooky extra strong cider flooding south west Glasgow tonight....

Sitting with a large cognac and tuning in to sevco meedja.....its a f@ckin hoot The Slippy G love in is most certainly over
