  1. Fat Sally's puss is a joy to behold. Chin is on the floor.
  2. yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaassssssssssssss!!!!!! GIRFUY sevco
  3. Where the hell did they get 4 minutes extra time from?
  4. Fuck gonna be a long last 7 minutes COYR
  5. May coming on. We are sitting further and further back and just keep handing possession right back. Sevco are no great shakes but we are making them look far better than they really are
  6. Wright and Wilson been utterly honkin GMS has the beating of their left back but we just cannot get and keep possession.
  7. Get a taxi Trains go from Central to King's Park but they will be crammed full of pissed up sevconians who care not a jot you are there with your wife and son. It is walkable but quite a way out from the city centre around 2 miles or so and the direct route would take you in past the sevconian end.
  8. Apparently Slippy G has assured Foderingham he will play tomorrow (sevco have played him instead of McGregor in the 2 previous cup ties)
  9. I don't think he does. Not even convinced he actually writes the shite that appears in "his" column. But he is acutely away that being controversial keeps him in a "job". So allowing his name to be put to stuff like that keeps the cash flowing into his account every month. He will know of course that it winds us up greatly. Best thing to do is just avoid buying the Sun or clicking on their website.
  10. Sadly it is the BBC who choose not to send reporters to Ibrokes due to them banning Chris McLaughlin a couple of years back for having the temerity to report on sectarian singing during a game against Hivs IIRC.
  11. It's in the SFA/SPFL rules that each club have to make available certain numbers of players available for press interviews pre and post match (2 IIRC not necessarily the same ones).
  12. With the fans for sure.... With Milne... well he might pay attention with a few home crowds of 8k or less but I still believe the only way DM wont be in post at season's end is if he walks
  13. If it's New Farm Loch there is a very good chance he is related to me
  14. As long as he keeps delivering league titles and keeps their quest for 10 in a row on track he is perfectly safe. The only question mark exists over Brenda himself. He will get bored winning trophies in a country where, with the huge financial gulf that exists between Celtic and everyone else, only the cups provide the (still relatively small) chance of an upset. He will have his eye on another big job in England. Newcastle could become available soon and he is bound to be mentioned for it. As could West Ham. I think he would jump at the chance. Smaller clubs than Celtic for sure but would easily double possibly treble his current £30k per week
  15. Ipswich bin their manager. Sort of level of club that might be interested in DM. Fingers crossed anyway...
  16. The figure I was told was £15k/week. Which equates to around £780k per year. Source? A close family member who does reports for the press and has a number of friends on the playing staff. And as RS says, Milne stumped up to make absolutely certain DM stayed out of the sevconian clutches. ( the figure they were supposedly offering was £12k/week but source says he cannot confirm that one)
  17. Not really the team's job to learn from it though. Each time they take the field, they are performing to a style and set up that has been formulated by the manager and coaches. It is McInnes who needs to learn that waht he is setting us up to do this season just isn't effective. Hopefully he also reads the fans forums and understands that we are definitely not impressed with the mind numbing style of play and that some are starting to stay away.
  18. Ended 0-3 but really matters not a jot in the grand scheme of things. There are just too many clubs we consider as rivals for top 4 places with large points leads already over us. Hibs and Killie might just be about "reel-innable" but in reality if we can overtake one of them we will be doing well. Hearts can only throw away 3rd place now and second could be realistic as sevco are no great shakes.
  19. A defensive unit which is coughing up an average of a goal a game this season (admittely the back line has been ravaged up till now with a combination of injuries and utterly ludicrous suspensions). Thus we need to score to take anything from games, and at least twice to get a win. Our scoring average is just over 1 a game and that was boosted hugely by the 2 St Mirren horsings that we dished out. Fans are bored to tears with our dreadful style of play and crowds will inevitably drop as we continue to lose ground on teams at the top of the league. Sunday is a chance for DM to at least try something different. Playing it cagey against a team shorn of their 2 best attackers would be madness.......and likely result in defeat anyway. Sevco's weakness is their defence. Get Wright running at them in the channels and we have a chance.
  20. I suppose Wiggy could have kept him on the same salary rather than promising him the bumper pay rise to stay but sevco were an absolute basket case at that point. Going there for a similar or marginally improved pay probably wouldn't make up for the long term career damage it would have done to him if he went there and failed (stopping the dhims doing 10 in a row is all that they will settle for. Even winning the Scottish Cup 3 times in a row won't save Gerrard or whoever is in charge at the point Celtic do lift that 10th title)
  21. Id rather we saved any cash from a McKenna sale till summer. I know we would need a replacement for him but as things stand we are so far behind in the League already that this season is pretty much a write off. We would pay inflated prices in January so I'd rather we either got players on pre-contracts or waited till summer when another rebuild will be necessary anyway (Wilson, Ball definitely gone; Forrester, Gleeson, Logan probably gone; Shinnie, GMS who knows?) I'd have no problem giving him up to £200k or so to get in a back up centre half to Devlin/Consi as cover.
  22. Everyone seems to give Shinnie an easy ride on here (and other forums) and there can be no question of his obvious committment to the club. No sign of him signing a new contract as yet and it might be he is thinking of a new challenge. But he has definitely not been the Shinnie of old this season and in 2 or 3 games, including yesterday, been utter shite. His performances the past 4 seasons showed he could certainly do a job in the English Championship but on this season's showings so far he aint going to get an offer from there. A League 1 side could easily match and probably beat any pay offer that we could put on the table so unless he ups his game it's going to come down to a similar scenario that big Gash found himself in 18 months ago....sign on again with us and play at a higher level or go to a MK Dons or similar and earn £3-5K per week more but play at a shyte level. GMS i think will stay eventually. Logan....hmmm. Hasn't been great (to put it mildly) for over a season now. i think we need an upgrade asap. Will see the season out but expect to see him sign a pre contract with a club in the Manchester vicinity....Bury or the the likes. Forrester I can see getting punted in January probably writing off the fee that we paid. Gleeson I think will stay till at least the summer. I don't think he is up to much but will be useful covering for injuries and is certainly good enough to start in games against the bottom 4 or 5 if required. He will get frustrated at his limited game time and will probably leave in the summer.
  23. Agreed. Cosgrove was hung out to dry by the tactics. There was no midfield support within 20 yards of him when we resorted to lumping high balls up to him. That we looked better in the second half is not because he was withdrawn alongside Ball. It was because we started playing football on the deck and actually stringing more than 2 passes together.
  24. RS tells the truth. There's a very good reason McInnes turned down both the sevco and Sunderland jobs and though they were both basket cases at the times he spoke to them, fact is they couldn't (at that point) get close to matching what we are paying him. (Sevco have now had a large cash injection from their mystery donor no doubt partly sparked by their abject horror in having the manager of a "diddy" club turn them down over the package they could offer) Is DM worth it? One trophy and a raft of second places that have guaranteed European football every season probably says yes in a purely financial sense. But his achievements are tempered by the fact that at one point, Hibs, Hearts and sevco were all in a different division and he has only had sevco in our league for 2 full seasons and Hibs for one. Both of whom, whilst being no world beaters, look to have got their shit in order as do Hearts who have been dreadful in the 3 full seasons he has had to face them. We, meanwhile seem to be on a downward trend....a fairly steep one at that. And whilst usually playing turgid football that would cure the severest of insomniacs. I've always said that Milne will allow McInnes one dodgy season where his job will be safe unless we found ourselves in relegation difficulties mid season. St Boo, Dundee and Hamilton are sufficiently garbage to ensure that scenario won't happen and though already a top 4 place looks extremely dubious we should comfortably make 5th or 6th at worst. The fans are already grumbling loudly about change being needed. A horsing at Hampden next week and they will become roars. McInnes knows he won't get fired but would he walk??
  25. I'll have a pint of whatever you're drinking...... In fact I'll settle for a nip. It's obviously strong stuff.... Ach by next Sunday I'll be fine.
