That smarmy c@nt found a way to shoehorn newco into the league system.....indeed even tried shoehorning them into the SPL at first......riding roughshod over established rules and ignoring the claims of clubs with a far more positive case for admission. If the SPFL really wanted they could have found a loophole allowing one of the games to be played on an alternative date and/or venue. Fuck Doncaster, fuck the SPFL and fuck the GFA

Why would they? As is the norm, they are effectively both handed home ties in a cup semi final. Their fans have the inconvenience of having to travel no more that 3 miles from their own ground....in Celtic's case only 1.5 miles. Fans of all other clubs are expected to suck it up and treat it as a nice day out. The SPFL/SFA don't really give a shit about all the other clubs. Every season, in both cup competitions, they want to see a Celtic v sevco final. This was the main reason I wanted Hampden razed to the ground and in ideal circumstances, a new national stadium built in the Falkirk/Stirling vicinity. Or second best, using Murrayfield.

Just seen a valid point made on another forum. If (ok when) we go a couple of goals up there is a very good chance the sevconians won't be in a very celebratory mood. In such circumstances the nearest lavatorial facilities tend to end up smashed to smithereens. And if that happens the second semi cannot go ahead. Let's hope we put 5 past the c@nts so the great unwashed do an extra special job and leave the brains trust at the SPFL with egg all over their smug faces.

I'll stick my neck out and say it'll be us v sevco at Hampdung with a midday kick off then Dhims v Fartz at Murrayfield at 3..... That way 2 clubs aren't travelling and when our game kicks off the Dhims will be heading East. By the time our game finishes all the Celtic fans will have left and we then head up the road and are long gone by the time Celtic start heading back. As has been said by others, it would cause Edinburgh rozzers the mother of all headaches if ourselves and the sevconians were arriving into Haymarket at the same time, followed by a half mile trek out to the ground.

Really hope this one falls through. Don't think he would be a positive influence in the dressing room and 5 games in 2 years suggests he's fucked. Would also push Wright further down the pecking list to the point where he might think that it's time to try somewhere else.

I really dont think any fan wants us to get beaten in any game. I do think however there is a growing section that are concerned about the manner we are playing the game in. To be frank it absolutely brutal to watch. If we were winning every game it would probably be tolerated to a degree but we have dropped a lot of points and are already playing catch up with only 6 games of the league season gone. I accept that injuries and suspensions have impacted severely on the options we have had. However Hibs have had similar problems yet every week they turn out a team that plays the game in the correct manner, the fans love watching and (usually) does goals. That said, it is us who are in the semi, and despite everything, are only 2 points behind Hibs and sevco and 1 point behind the dhims in the league. The team will always have my backing every time they take to the field but it doesn't always follow that I'll enjoy what I see even in victory. I'll still celebrate as wildly as the next fan if we play as eye wateringly shitely in the semi and final and win both on penalties.

Out till January at the earliest. Was supposed to have shoulder surgery a fortnight ago but was allowed to postpone it until his heavily pregnant partner had the baby which she did last Thursday. Hadn't had the op as of yesterday but having it "this week" and will be staying down south to be monitored by Watford during his recovery. The injury occurred after he scored against Hibs. I'm presuming this means in the after goal celebrations when the goalscorer gets swarmed/jumped on by the other players.....I don't think tapping home from a yard out would damage anyones shoulder. I'm surprised managers allow this to go on tbh.....only surprised more injuries don't occur during goal celebrations. It's a needless risk.

Has to be a 3-5-2 It says something about Forrester and Gleeson to a lesser extent that DM would rather fill 2 midfield slots with full backs (3 if you include Shinnie). Honestly have no idea how this one is going to play out. If it comes off DM is a genius but if we get a doing the knives will be out
