  1. Do you practice at being a prick or does it just come natural? Cos you are without doubt the biggest one walking the streets of Scotland. You should really follow sevco ya fucking bellend
  2. Read what I wrote again. YOU are spikkin shite (keeping true to form)
  3. I remember '81 well when we drew Ipswich in the UEFA Cup and everyone said they would do the same to us as Liverpool had the previous season. Now Burnley aren't a patch on that Ipswich side who had Butcher, Wark, Mills, Mariner et al. Sadly we aint a patch on that Dons side..... If we can get any sort of victory without conceding then who knows. But I'm not holding my breath.
  4. Sebastian Gessl 22 y/o Austrian goalkeeper on a weeks trial. Ex of Karlsruhe in Bundesliga 2 and was an Austrian youth international.
  5. My prediction about Danny Ward is about to go up in smoke.........apparently about to sign for Leicester for £12million...... Woodman it is then.....
  6. I'd love to agree with this but can envisage that we get these young players in on 2-3 year contracts, suffer 7th or worse place finishes but see definite progress and just when we are about to flourish, these young players fuck off to English Championship/League 1 teams for twice the wages we can offer and leaving us back where we started.
  7. I think they'd do business with anyone to get Wallace out the door. Perhaps you have missed what happened with Miller and Wallace at the back end of last season but there seems to be no way back for him at Mordor and I believe they are both taking legal action over the club fines sevco imposed.
  8. Anyway on a different tack......and this one might get me a wheen o' Durrants. We know we need cover for Logan but left back is also a big problem, DM steadfastly refuses to play Shinnie there except in dire emergency and we all know Consi just isnt up to the job when facing anyone with a modicum of pace. Now sevco have 4 left backs vying for one spot. Looks like the wife beater Flanagan will be 1st choice. Lee Wallace is persona non grata around Ibrokes these days probably considered 4th choice behind Hodson. Honestly thought Fartz would make a move to try to get him in but theyve signed everyone else in the world but him it seems. Should we make a move? Even a year on loan initially we could prob afford to pay 50% of his wages and sure sevco would be glad to get him out the door.
  9. I'm 51 and I can do tap ins.... Assume you will be recommending DM signs me up asap
  10. Both can link play and assist others to score. Rooney couldn't.....ergo he's been punted
  11. Easier perhaps but still expect them to exit the tournament in this coming round...
  12. As long as we have a replacement lined up it really is best all round. Great servant but would not fit into the style DM wants us to play.
  13. I'd be astounded if we got a fee at all but if we did no way would it be more than £50k. Rooney was a fantastic servant but latterly he was a square peg in a round hole he just didn't fit in with the way DM sets the team up. And playing him on the left wing made the poor guy look worse than a Sunday pub league player. There must be a new striker in the pipeline as there is no way any sane manager would allow anyone to leave with a squad already down to the bare bones without having a suitable replacement lined up. Unless DM's next masterstroke is to stick Dom Ball in at centre forward
  14. I thought Ball was ok in midfield but absolutely honking at right back. I'd tend to agree if he is indeed returning on loan then Gleeson's knee injury is fairly serious. Downside is that we probably won't sign a proper right back to cover Logan. If McInnes plays Ball at right back against sevco in the league opener God help us
  15. I think they would unless we agreed to subsidise a fair old chunk of his wages
  16. Both are considered 3rd choice at their respective clubs ( though we will see if what dons8321 says regarding Ward actually happens). Woodman is still young enough to wait for his chance but Ward is now of an age where he has to become a number one choice, I think Liverpool will buy a new 'keeper shortly and Ward will at best be back up. There's no great hurry for us to do anything but I do suspect Joe will get a better offer than we can match when his contract expires, probably from a mid level Championship side. By then it will be clear about both Ward and Woodman as to how their careers are likely to pan out. If we were willing to pay 10k a week to McGeouch we could certainly do so for one of them, though i suspect Woodman is on nowhere near that at present. We won't find out the answer to this one for a good while but I stick to my assertation.....Rodgers will never be our first choice keeper (and I'll deliver a big "told you so" when I'm proved right )
  17. Cos he is the cheap option. Really cannot see him ever becoming our first choice keeper, presume we put an U20 on the bench this season and recall him should Joe get injured. St Boo I'd imagine are covering 100% of his wages in the meantime. If/when Joe leaves we will try to get Danny Ward or Woodman in permanently
  18. That would be Baroness Benjamin, Lib Dem life peer Who knew that Play School would spawn such a political big hitter..
  19. Always felt Crawford whilst no doubt talented is just too lightweight to be consistently effective in the SPFL. And don't think Naismith returning was the reason for his rejection at Fartz. Its a no from me. Really have no recollection at all of Nowak playing but defensive cover is an urgent requirement so if this does fly then I'll trust DM's judgement.
  20. Unashamedly lifted from the Hat. Supposedly his missus has been telling everyone
  21. Hunjack apparently getting sent out on loan
  22. We already have one of those in Cosgrove. If the Doidge rumour is true then all I can say is meh x 106 As I and others have mentioned, it's far more urgent we get a decent right back/wing back in to cover for Logan's suspension.

    World Cup

I'd stick with it. Russia showed Croatia are no great shakes and Guffland (although no great shakes themselves) have a bit of momentum about them, allied to that little bit of luck needed to progress deep into the competition. Of course i fully expect Belgium or France to comfortably see them off in the final so that's the point I'd cash out.
