  1. We would be better off signing Phyllis Pearce outta Corrie
  2. Agreed he is an obnoxious shyte. So was Fergie..... Lennon instils the correct attitude in is team when they are playing the cheeks. He isn't intimidated in the way DM is. So that's why I want him. His personal traits are of no interest to me if he delivered us a side capable of pumping Celtic and sevco as frequently as Hibs do. Back on topic it does look like Ross will get a budget at Sunderland which will blow every other team in League 1 out the water. Likeable as he is, he is an utter nonentity in England. Hopefully this won't be a hindrance in getting his signing targets to join up. And of course, should he fail to get Sunderland up at the first attempt then there is no doubt he will get a dirty great boot up the arse and won't land till he hits Scottish soil.
  3. Dear God lets hope this is duff info. We've just punted a striker who doesn't score, last thing we need is to bring another one in. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Danny_Philliskirk
  4. He will manage us at some point I reckon. Still hoping popcorn teeth will be the one who directly replaces DM whenever he leaves though.
  5. Supposedly Jack Ross also spoke with Sunderland. Surely to f@ck he has to be a far better option than that mutant Rae? Every time I see him on tv he reminds me of a martian

    World Cup

Rarely pay much attention to football in Guffland any more. There are a few names in that squad I can honestly say I've never heard of. Not really even excited about the World Cup. As a young loon in the 70s and teenager in the early 80s I was spoilt with Scotland always qualifying......and always making a right royal fuck up of it once there (often with a controversial or comedy element thrown in for good measure). Once it starts I'll get into it no doubt and should pass the time nicely till we start our European adventure then the league gets back up and running. Anyway Guffland....got their usual easy draw. Haven't looked to see who their potential opponents could be in last 16 but no matter who just cannot see them progressing any further than the quarter finals at the absolute best.
  7. We did indeed try to get him on a pre contract. Supposedly he was on the verge of signing for Coventry City for nearly twice what we were offering. Guess that has broken down and now his agent is playing interested clubs off against each other.
  8. Tip off from McGeouch's agent more than likely....trying to force QPR's and Blackburn's hands
  9. Can see it ending up 5 or 6
  10. Can't bring myself to ever want one of the arse cheeks to win. COYA&C!
  11. Stoke are a far more stable club than Sunderland and I have no doubt if they came calling DM would be offski. However I doubt he would even make the top 10 of Stoke's short list of possible replacements. Supposedly Moyes is top of their wish list despite him turning them down in January.
  12. Shinnie should be our highest paid player. McGinn and Joe not far behind. If we are to get McGeouch in he should be on the level just below alongside May, Rooney, Shay, McKenna, GMS and Reynolds
  13. ICT is the older Shinnie's level
  14. As I have said elsewhere I think he will go for around a million or so to an upper League 1/ lower Championship team
  15. Watched the game. 4-1 would have been a fairer reflection of the dominance Livi had. Thistle are very lucky to still be in with a shout.
  16. He was talking about Moyes who started at Preston
  17. I was under the impression where there is disparity in the fees offered and wanted, the tribunal used to go somewhere in the middle but now they decide which offer is the "fairest" and go with that one......stops (theoretically) clubs offering ridiculously low or asking ridiculously high valuations
  18. Gascoigne was infinitely bigger signing than Gerrard. Andi Thom for the Dhims was a World Cup winner and I'd argue was bigger. As was Canniggia signing for Dundee
  19. May isn't gash. Just for most of the time he was played he was asked to do the job Cosgrove did in the last few games. May just isn't physically capable of playing the lone striker role when there is a large separation between him and the midfield. Cosgrove, being that bit more physical, is able to carry out the role very well. Hopefully next season we will find a way of playing the pair of them together up top. If we get Jason Naismith in.....and now apparently there will be a fee involved as their manager has stated there is no relegation release clause and he is under contract to 2019.....going to a back 3 of Naismith, Devlin and McKenna might allow us to do just this.
  20. First time i've seen the actual document.....some sevconian arse posted in in sevco media. Reading it seems to confirm that sevco is definitely NOT the same club as Rangers. So a huge congratulations the the orc poster for giving us all the proof we have been looking for Edit........whoops neglected to post the link was too busy pishin myself........ https://tinyurl.com/y898qolf
  21. Remember seeing Ferguson in one of his very first matches for Yinited.....3-2 win for us at Tannadump. He was a beanpole but utterly terrorised our central defenders that day and I remember saying he would be a huge star down south one day. Not sure if we would have beaten Brazil but certainly by the late 90's he was the best Scottish striker around and it is a shame he felt compelled to take the action he did.
  22. Well there is of sorts.....just not to sevco. Speculating he may join Kolo at the Dhims.......
  23. Might have a fiver on him going back to Everton
  24. Surely Neely the paedo was employed by the dead club not the company? And everyone knows that sevco claim to be the same club....... This could just turn out to be the funniest close season in history.
  25. If he recruits well and we are within 6 points of Celtic and neck and neck with sevco come Xmas then I can see a struggling Championship club come calling. Recruit badly and Celtic are out of sight and sevco ( and possibly the spoonburners) have a clear lead over us then I can see the fans united in wanting him out and forcing Wiggy into action that he really doesn't want to take. Either way I just have a feeling DM won't be our manager this time next year.....
