  1. Seems as if the twitter reports are true...."Union Bears" have indeed stormed the building though the hotel security have apparently got the situation in hand (ie booted fuck out the manky bastards)
  2. Ive been on swallow swallow its fucking epic Apparently it's all the other clubs' fault that sevco are where they are today ( and by inference that they caused oldco to go bust ) The Dhims 7 league titles in a row are also apparently "tainted"......they don't half do irony well over in Sevconia/Deludedland
  3. In other words he listened to the radio Clyde phone in last night and heard that there is a mysterious "Invester" about sink megabucks into sevco.....
  4. 2-0 MBT.......aoc and GMS
  5. Cosgrove starts Shinnie at left back Into these jambo bassas
  6. It would also appear that Mr Gerrard is not a member of the same Christian denomination as the orc hordes......
  7. As mentioned, Stewart is far too slow and far too one footed for us to sign permanently. Knowing McInnes that probably means he will get a 4 year contract. Crawford is a difficult one. Bags of ability but I've always felt he is just too lightweight and easily bullied by a robust opposition midfielder. Pretty sure he is Hibs bound anyway but on balance we probably should ask the question.
  8. I predicted this a few weeks back....had heard it was on the cards from a mate who knows his family. I suppose he could be no worse than wine gums but his attitude has stunk at a few clubs. Meh is an understatement....
  9. Having no money never stopped the dead club in the not too distant past. No reason to believe the tribute act will be any different.
  10. Back 4 with Reynolds at left back; Ball and Shinnie in midfield. By all accounts Reynolds was ok and Ball played well in his proper role.
  11. Absolutely vital we get something out of this game given the way the Hivs game is going. (Yet again Lennon shows exactly how to set up a team facing one of the arse cheeks) Earlier in week I thought we would get beaten. Today I'm more optimistic 0-2 (Rooney, wright)
  12. If the Arses come calling you won't see Brenda for dust. Wenger really should have been told to resign with dignity 2 years ago. Will always be a legend but really hasn't had Arsenal close for some time now.
  13. If a team can teach Bolt to finish he would be an asset anywhere as an impact sub. He could outtrun any defence so they couldn't risk pressing high up against him as a ball over the top leaves him in. And if they stand off they invite pressure. He would add a few thousand to every gate as a pure novelty. Doubt sevco would pay the basic wage he is after but they might view it as a risk worth the gamble
  14. See my post on the sevco thread.....
  15. A Dhims blogger has reported McInnes is keen to take over sevco in the summer with one big proviso.....that Dave "career criminal" King is no longer on the sevco board. Press are apparently about to run with the story too......
  16. The thing is Logan has been on a season long slump. We are in third place in the league in spite of him, not because of him. So I just dont believe playing Ball in a couple of matches would really have made any great difference to the results. I think we would still have beaten St Johnstone and still have lost to Fartz. But at least we would have found out Ball was not a suitable option for the semi....
  17. We already have a proper left back at the club. We just have a manager who refuses to play him there...
  18. 12.5k per week. And an utter cock of a personality. I'd rather give Considine a 5 year contract than see that arse anywhere near our club
  19. Even though Miller is 38 I fully expect to see him turn up somewhere like St Mirren or Thistle in a player/coach role. And he will do fairly well.... Wallace....different kettle of fish. Barely literate, injury prone and on a whacking great contract with over a year to run. Sevco are stuck with him and tbh they deserve each other.
  20. I believe trying Ball out in a couple of league matches would have shown that he wasn't capable of playing right back and so would have afforded DM the opportunity to revise his tactics for the cup tie, most likely going with a back 3. Might still have lost the tie who knows, but throwing Ball in was a gamble too far ( I don't consider playing him at right back in an U20 match a proper test).
  21. Big Al is sadly correct. Celtic will win the league as long as they remain part of Scottish football under the present circumstances. Best scenario as it stands is that Celtic fuck off to England/anywhere but seems unlikely. Sevco will likely go bust spending cash they do not have trying to halt the run. We will win a trophy probably once every 5 years as will Hibs/Hearts We either need a very generous investor (50 million minimum) or a shake up in the rules to allow us to ever compete for the league again
  22. It was "fucking bawbag" and was definitely aimed at Murty. John James is a zoomer and no attention should ever be paid to anything that cockwomble posts. Whilst it was gratifying watching sevco getting served up a huge great can of whoopass it in no way detracts from our woeful performance 24 hours previously
  23. He was decent for 6 months at the start of his contract. Been underwhelming to rank rotten ever since. Not of the required standard going forward and should play no further part until his contract runs out after the twitter crap. Would far rather see a young loon get a run out who will be here for the next season or two.
  24. I absolutely concur that McInnes is accountable for having no suitable back up for Logan at all for the past 3 seasons. Every other position has/had cover and it is bordering on the bizarre why this one position has been neglected so glaringly. Logan up till the end of last season had been fantastically consistent but this season has been fantastically consistently shyte. We were all amazed towards the end of last season that he signed the new deal as everyone expected him to be off back down south nearer his young kids....he hinted that was his intention. I'm guessing we made him an offer any English club ( prob EFL1 level) just wasn't willing to come close to matching and he signed back on with us with the intention of making himself financially stable for the rest of his life. However, in my opinion, his constant shuttling back and forth to Manchester has taken its toll and he just isn't getting the rest he requires to recover after games....he isn't getting any younger. I've said elsewhere, I hope McInnes (or whoever is in charge come summer) at least tries to buy Cadden off Motherwell in the summer. with a year left on his contract he would cost 250-300k max and would give us an extra option of playing at wing back as well as full back. Shay would then be the back up option for the last year of his contract.
  25. 3-1 is a comfortable win....
