Getting a better final ball in to him definitely helps. Stewart is totally one footed opposition defenders knowif he is on the right wing he will always check and come inside onto his left foot so half the time he loses out in a challenge. And even then his final ball often fails to beat the first defender.

Woodman has far more experience of first team football given that he spent last season on loan at Kilmarnock and was first choice for all that time. He is also an U20 World Cup winner.......

Resigned McGinn for nothing, Man City player on loan, Devlin in for peanuts and giving him time to get to know the club whilst completing his injury rehab. Probable goalkeeper in tomorrow on loan and perhaps a surprise signing (McGeouch on a pre contract/in immediately for a nominal fee??). I'd say it was as good a window as any over the past 10 years...

Ball certainly had his best game in a dons jersey, nothing flashy just won his tackles and retained possession when required and played simple effective passes. He is an odious little shit but I'd absolutely take him to replace McInnes if/when he leaves or gets punted. Lennon has the correct attitude to facing the arse cheeks and seems able to instil it into his players which DM seems to fail to do consistently. As regards the Scotland job.....can't see it being a realistic goer. He would never be accepted by the sevconian masses and would get booed or worse for the entire duration of a match. We will finish 3rd comfortably ahead of the Edinburgh duo. But we need to get this defence sorted in the summer. Obviously we need a left back and right sided central defender but I'm also thinking Logan needs replacing, he has been rotten all season. And I don't think we will see Joe again before the start of next season at the earliest. Even if we go with Rodgers we will need an experienced back up.

Am still convinced Reynolds would be better as pie seller in RDS concourse..... I'd have Considine acting as cover for McKenna next season and try to get a decent proper left back in, I've come to accept Shinnie is going to be in midfield forever and only will play at left back in emergency.... Devlin will be first pick on right side of central defence (assuming we get him and the injury is 100% resolved). I'd like to see Arnie get another year as both McKenna and Devlin will learn from him even if he only plays 10-15 games over the season.

Absolutely agree AOC and Reynolds should be nowhere near this game tomorrow, preferably not even on the bench. Going forward AOC should be no more than a squad player filling in for injuries/suspensions but absolutely not against either of the Old Firm. Reynolds' role going forward should be selling pies in the RDS concourse.....

Had a weekend break in Budapest in 2006. Let the ex wife choose the hotel......she chooses the Hotel Europa in Buda. Looked very 70s in style but was a decent price so let her have her way. On arrival yes indeed it was very 70s and badly in need of decoration but overall was comfortable enough despite the dated decor. However about 3 years later (by this time the ex and I had separated) I was loaned a DVD by a friend with various ahem actors and actresses taking us on a "cultural" city tour of Budapest and showing their appreciation of the main sights by indulging in......well I'm sure you can guess. They then headed back to their hotel.......which was shown in all its 70s glory........to celebrate the successful day's filming with a mass party". no prizes for guessing which feckin hotel the "party" took place in.........
