  1. Every one absolutely correct
  2. And that was just shite defending
  3. They are playing well no doubt but as I said they just look faster and stronger all over the pitch. Playing Rooney hasn't helped he's been about as much use as a trapdoor in a canoe. An extra body in midfield would maybe have helped. And Rogic is just running amok
  4. Be amazed if AOC or Arnason dont pick up second bookings. Lego muncher looks like he might be right. They really do look miles fitter than we are.
  5. ah well thats that
  6. Shinnie on fire
  7. Cunt of a man and only successful at oldco because of the mahoosive cash advantage they had. He couldn't wait to f@ck off to his beloved Englandshire when Liverpool came calling and was an utter failure there and everywhere else his ass landed thereafter. And the BBC can get f@cked ana
  8. Time today seems to be dragging. Cant wait till kick off. 3-1 us (no Reynolds in line up) 2-1 them (Reynolds playing)
  9. There can be no questioning that he was a massive upgrade on what we had been used to for the previous 15 years or so and he did give us some fantastic performances. I just feel in the last 18 months or so his performance consistency levels dropped to a level where it showed he really wanted to be somewhere else. Given the choice of resigning McGinn ( on a free admittedly) or getting Christie in for a fee (750k?) on a 4 year contract, I'd prefer the board showed a bit of ambition and took the punt on Christie. If he kicked on at us in a couple of years we could be looking at selling him on for 3-4 times that fee. And if not well we know we have a player who is still significantly better than most within Scotland and who we get the best years of. Bringing players back who had previously been with us generally doesn't work out too well. Joe Miller in his second spell wasn't half the player he was before he joined the dhims. Leighton was god awful in his second spell ( admittedly playing behind a defence that was nowhere near as good as when he left). Jess never really hit the heights of his first spell although to be fair he was consistently above average. If the board feel Christie is too expensive....as an alternative I'd be happy with them going for Chris Cadden from 'Well.
  10. And I'm also of the same opinion. We would get 2 or 3 games of brilliance a season, 20 of mediocrity and another 15 or so of utter horse shit. Not worth the biggest wage in the playing staff he would surely demand on returning from South Korea... Fartz or a lower English Championship club it is then..
  11. Well DM was certainly hoodwinked once already by a sevco bound player. Could lightning strike twice? Anyway my feelings are irrelevant. DM obviously trusts him. If his performances are satisfactory then if he remains in the team he will have my support regardless.
  12. I'd also prefer if DM didnt pick him from now on unless an injury crisis occurs but I accept that isn't going to happen so as long as he has assured DM that he will give 100% effort then I will trust McInnes' judgement. He was a signing that excited me when he joined up as he had been excellent at St Mirren but apart from a 4 month spell midway through his second season he really has been no better than average and for large spells utterly honking.
  13. Unless McLean himself was the source...
  14. Try to swap for O'Halloran in January. Deal would suit both clubs and I really don't think Mclean would strengthen sevco at all
  15. Loved rugby at school, played for the school team at stand off if the football team weren't playing that day. The bit about paedophiles is just laughable and borderline libellous. In a world of snowflakery where elf n safety takes precedence over everything and football has become virtually a non contact sport, rugby is perhaps the one sport that is actually (at professional level) the one sport that has evolved into being even more physical than it was 20-30 years back.
  16. I'm sticking to my guns and saying at best Tansey will get a 10-15 minute run out, but in all probability won't even make the bench. Am also sticking to my prediction that Stewart (meh) will be a straight replacement for Christie. I don't think DM will go with my suggestion of putting Kari alongside AOC and bringing in Consi alongside McKenna. I really think he will put Ball (double meh) in there and bench Rooney. God forbid Reynolds (meh x 10) gets brought in.....
  17. I think he is a shoo in for West Brom if he is still with us next time that one comes up. Everton might possibly be a stretch but there really arent many managers around right now whose stock is higher. Certainly as British managers go
  18. Definitely not according to the Rhecord But McInnes.....I'd be amazed if they don't at least want to talk to him
  19. "He's smarter than the average bear" Considering your average "bear" is barely literate and drags his knuckles on the ground whilst singing about paddling about in a vessel containing blood that reaches halfway up their legs... Mr Hughes on the other hand....
  20. The biggest prick on there (and boy do they have some competition for the spot) King Kirk has decreed McInnes is a dead cert for the job. Everything he predicts goes tits up sharpish so we can rest safely knowing McInnes is going nowhere. Well unless Everton bin Koeman as is looking likely. I think they might well be interested...
  21. Because I dont think he felt at the time that Moult was worth 500k. He went out and got May instead for somewhere just north of 300k. I'm not looking to bash McInnes....he is the manager and its perfectly valid for him to think that 300k for May represented better value at that point than 500k for Moult did. However as it has panned out Moult is having the season of his life at Motherwell and were it not for the fact that he is approaching the end of his contract, would actually be worth a helluva lot more than that 500k. All I'm sayin in effect that McInnes I believe saw it as an either/or situation with May/Moult. He also probably thought that Moult would continue as before at Motherwell and become available on a pre contract in January where we would still be his most attractive option. However his performances have improved to the point where the English Championship is now a viable option too. If we had got him in alongside May then I believe we would be in the League Cup final right now. ( and given a bit of luck avoiding injuries really challenging Celtic come season end for the title)
  22. Hunjack getting absolutely slaughtered by Gordon Dalziel on the radio clyde phone in. GIRFUY
  23. If we had went to 500k he was ours. 100k is fuck all to us especially with Cormack back on the board. I think McInnes was the one who wouldn't sanction the extra cash rather than the board. And went and got May instead. If the ship has sailed its because an English championship team like Bolton will take a punt on him in January...500k is chickenfeed to any team in that league. But I think if he had the choice of us or sevco he would chose us...
