  1. Yaaassssssssss our next number 9 rams it right up sevco. Get on the bears den huns are greetin like babies
  2. I'd be amazed if Tansey gets anything other than a place on the bench, if indeed he is even fit for that. I expect Stewart will come in as a straight replacement for Christie. However I stated at the start of the season that I really do not rate Stewart at all. And to date he has been even worse than I expected. For this one game only I would be tempted to push Kari into midfield alongside AOC, putting Consi alongside McKenna and try to bombard them with our aerial advantage. Agricultural I admit but in the words of Corporal Jones.....they do not like it up 'em. Hayes I have no problem with and I expect him to play at least some part of the game. However although I concur that his time at the dhims will probably be short ( I expect him to be punted out in the summer) I don't think we should be looking to take him back. At 30 I think we saw his best years and despite his enthusiasm his pace will soon be on the wane. Hoping for a win but a draw would be a decent result.
  3. Nothing reported in the press yet but the "in the know" wallopers on caravan mad all saying McKinnon has been bulleted. Wonder if Robson would fancy the job there....
  4. Yinited
  5. I want the dhims to win today. 2 reasons.....first being that it's highly unlikely that the manky gits will lose 2 games on the trot to Scottish opposition. Its a fact, unpleasant as it is, that Rasellickbyraway are way out ahead of everyone in Scottish football at present. Their income and cash reserves mean it cannot be any other way for the foreseeable future. Now I can't see them going undefeated all season again but on the flip side I can't see them losing more than 3 games all season either. Naturally I hope it is us who inflict those defeats, one of which will hopefully be in the Scottish Cup (final preferably). Secondly sevco are in the other semi tomorrow. Motherwell have a decent chance of winning but sevco are on a bit of a run just now and probably will just shade it. Now I detest Celtic. But I want sevco to remain major trophyless for ever. Their dead predecessors cheated to land themselves countless trophies in their dying years, and the SFA colluded with newco's owners and the press to perpetuate the same club myth. so the biggest "FUCK YOU" to them all is to see the rancid tribute act remain trophyless for ever. And sad to say, I trust Celtic more than Hibs to ensure its stays that way....
  6. I think the board will end up saying "game's a bogey" for Kingsford and will end up taking it out the city and into the coonty. Which will alienate the vast majority of fans at least initially. Hope I'm wrong but just feel that the transport problem solutions will prove unacceptable to the club and that the W.A.N.K.S will be dancing in the streets claiming victory. So in answer to Redmadders.....yes there will be a new stadium built somewhere. It will never please everyone. But if we have a team based in it that can regularly pump the arse cheeks and deliver us trophies on a fairly regular basis then they can build it wherever the f@ck they like as far as I'm concerned.
  7. Aye I saw it. What isn't shown is that John Higgins was playing on the adjacent table. He was in the early stages of a break and when the wifie invaded the O' Sullivan match, Higgins' match was also halted. When he returned to the table he was faced with a difficult pot but one that he would expect to get probably 19 times out of 20 ( thin cut back into a blind pocket). Suffice to say he missed.....at that point he was 2-0 down and ended up needing 2 snookers to stop himself going 3-0 down. He got them!
  8. That night was the best night of my life. Pamped der hun out the league cup...i was listening in on the radio commentary at the local maternity hospital and just over 40 minutes later my daughter made her entry into the world.
  9. Spent my formative years growing up in Glenrothes...fantastic in the 70s but an absolute toilet for the best part of 30 years. Kirkcaldy is utopia by comparison. I get what you are saying about Cowdenbeath and Lochgelly though.....
  10. Looking over on the Hat a figure of 4 million has been suggested as a starting point for negotiations. I have no doubt if he was at an EFL 1 club a figure of that amount would indeed be realistic but up here it just wouldn't happen. I'm certain that Villa will indeed bid for him in January, offering around 1 million. Which should be instantly rejected. However we have to be fair to Joe....at 30 it willo likely be his last big chance of earning seriously funny money so if we could get the bidding up to around 2.5 million I think we should allow him the chance to move on. If McInnes was given 1.5 million of that to source a replacement I'm sure he could find a hidden gem somewhere in Europe..
  11. Sob stories in the press that in the last paragraph contain a link to a crowdfunding site begging for cash.....especially those that are about arseholes having medical mishaps abroad that have no insurance ( or have done something so incredibly stupid that it negates their insurance).....
  12. Seconded
  13. McLeish....meh but acceptable. However I think he is sitting waiting for sevco to bullet the Portugeezer. They are rookit and McLeish would be a cheap stop gap for 2 or 3 years for them. Scotland have no need to make a hurried decision, after we pump der hun in the successive away/home games Pedro's time would surely be up. Indeed if Saints whup them tomorrow he could be gone by the start of next week.....McLeish may not be available for Scotland. And he couldnt wait to fuck off to those giants of football Birmingham City last time he was Scotland boss.....
  14. Big Sam's parents ( and siblings) are Scottish. I wouldn't bet against it...
  15. Lambert and Moyes I suspect would see it as a poisoned chalice....both have reputations badly in need of repair after failing miserably at their last clubs. Taking on the Scotland job is only likely to further damage them at this point. Magoo and Mccoist are so beyond repairing their reputations that they'd snap up the offer. However Magoo may have enough goodwill down south to blag himself a lower division job. Plymouth for example, which may become available fairly soon if Adams keeps up his losing streak. That leaves McCoist.....as said before he's establishment, hes available, he's cheap. Everything the SFA look for in a candidate....
  16. Ive got a horrible feeling if Chesney walks/gets his jotters that Fanny McCoist will be putting his gardening implements up for sale on ebay
  17. I have a feeling that Norn Irn will draw the Republic in the play offs thus guaranteeing that Ireland will have representation in Russia...
  18. I really don't think we will be there and if we do I expect to be embarrassed. Plenty Scottish sides with far greater talent than the current one did the square root of f@ck all at championship finals in the past. But I suppose if we did fluke our way there and WGS decided to act in the greater good by picking a young squad and exposed our obvious talents such as the 2 young left backs ( I think long term Tierney will go to centre back rather than right back) and McGinn to games against the very best in the world then I could accept the inevitable horsings. If he fills his squad with past it dross like Russell Martin and Lee Wallace then he can disappear to a Siberian concentration camp though. I accept the SFA are a corrupt bunch of self serving arse cheek worshipping twunts but I'd always want the team to do well....
  19. Forgot about the Jess hat trick at Tannadice which IIRC was Duncan Ferguson's full debut for the dabs. pitch was horrendous, cutting up badly so they sent out their youngsters at half time armed with various gardening implements to do some emergency repairs with the groundsmen. Cue an impeccably orchestrated chant of "YTS YTS YTS...." I had taken the now divorced Mrs Caat to the game and even she nearly pashed her punts. Nowadays she pashes her punts for medical reasons....
  20. Apparently Slovenia haven't lost a goal at home throughout the campaign. So it goes without saying we will go there and win with yet another very late goal. Playoffs will throw us an eminently winnable tie if we avoid Italy and Portugal. Which I think we will (avoid those 2 teams), winning the first leg and then gloriously fucking things up in the return leg losing out to an injury time decider
  21. Hewitt v Fermers 83 Winters v Dunfermline 99
  22. Roooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnneeyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
  23. Stockley gets a double for Exeter. Scoring for fun since we sold him...
