To take just one example from your list, lets look at "Airdrieonians". Went bust. Liquidated. Gone. Finito. No mention of holding companies being liquidated but the "club" living on. Just dead. Fast forward a few weeks after some mourning from their fans, a consortium of people led by Jim Bannantyne form a new club.....Airdrie United. One problem though. No SFA membership. Solution.....buy the membership of an existing club. Clydebank are in desperate financial straits....deal goes through and Airdrie United are accepted as a new club into the league system, starting at the bottom of the structure. Without this course of action they would have been forced to apply for membership of the SJFA and work their way up the leagues and at that time, should a vacancy have arisen in the SFL league structure, applied for membership and be judged on its merits, a la Gretna, Elgin City etc. And Clydebank cease to exist....gone, finito dead etc ( Reincarnated as a new club again a few weeks later and with nowhere to go in the SFL structure, apply and are accepted into the SJFA (West) structure. Fast forward a few seasons (10 or 11 IIRC) the directors of Airdrie United change the name of the club to Airdrieonians masking but changing the legal status of the company as a totally new entity. Sevco are NOT Rangers. And I will go to my grave saying this. Once they voluntarily ( or are forced to by some legislative process) I will accept they are called Rangers. Linked to by historical ties but completely separate from the dead entity.

Very much so, he is not without talent but attitude stinks. Bit of a ned in his hometown. However as he is under contract we cannot force him to go anywhere else. He would be unlikely to earn what he gets with us and although he wouldn't lose out by going on loan elsewhere with us subsiding his wages, he cannot be forced to do so. Having said this he is obviously better placed do so as by playing regularly at least he will put himself in the shop window for prospective employers after his contract run out next summer. I think he will be away to Morton or similar for the season before the end of the window.

Check out an enquiry, led by the ubiquitous Lord Nimmo Smith prior to his retirement and subsequent appointment to the oldco investigation... And you know what? The IAAF have been chasing up athletes for drug doping decades down the line and removing Olympic, World, European and other major championship medals. If they can do it then so can the SFA/SPFL for financial doping. Cheating is cheating and must be pursued and punished.

Only one course of action will get the SFA/SPFL to revisit this case now. And make no mistake they absolutely can despite what they say.... The fans of every club in Scotland must unite in a mass boycott of all league and cup games. Yes it will hit the club financially but Wiggy can shoulder the blame for that and cover any losses. As it is it only seems ourselves Celtic and the Arabs have had fans groups come out and make any sort of statement. Apathy rules elsewhere so far, though I'm sure Hibs fans are sympathetic. If us the dhims and the caravan dwellers take the lead and have no home fans showing up to our first league game other clubs fans will surely follow. 3 or 4 games of no fans showing up should be enough to get the club chairmen panicking and demanding the authorities revisit the case. The stay away can then be called off for the time being but fan groups should then be making it clear to the clubs that the only result to prevent a further stay away is to have the tainted titles stripped and voided......and also a clear statement that sevco are not the same as the club who died. Sadly I suspect apathy will rule the day though..

Are those the actual sums of the tax bills due? Looks more to me like the sums paid to the players in their EBT scheme. Of course tax will be due on those sums mostly at the higher level of taxation at that time (40%?) Then of course there are the terms of the EBT itself, which essentially works as a loan from the club to the player. Details of repayment rates/dates are unknown but the liquidators of oldco must surely now go hunting to find these side contracts and demand full repayment on behalf of deadco creditors..

Some talk over on the Hat ( i know I know) of a 600k deal having been agreed with Murderwell for Moult with either Storey or Stockley thrown in. So I presume this means 500k plus Storey. Or 400k without him :laughing:

I'm f@ckin irate. I really shouldn't be surprised as he did the same in 2015 and everyone knows he personally only wanted newco to be placed in SFL1 back in 2012 ( at very worst) but was forced into backing the fans stance. I think any chairman of AFC making one such error of judgement could be construed as unfortunate, twice is careless. However a third time should surely be a resignation offence.....Wiggy cannot be under any illusions how the fans feel about the oldco cheating. I hope to hell Dave Cormack is on the blower as we speak demanding Milne's arse on a plate....or better still actually round at chez wiggy personally inserting his right foot up his hun apologist hoop. Not a hope in hell would we be interested in Stokes. We have just signed Maynard and Stokes is exactly the same type of striker although probably of a slightly but not hugely better standard. Given the clubs Maynard has been at, although his options may have been limited this time round, he is unlikely to have come to us on any less than 3k per week plus a nice wee signing on fee. By signing Stokes we would effectively chucking around 200k in the bin. We need to concentrate on getting Moult in. If as rumoured we had 400k rejected and Moult himself has indicated hes interested in coming, Motherwell won't want to lose him for nothing in a year's time. I think they'd snap our hands off for 500k but going to 450k should probably seal the deal. Once he is on board we can look at offloading Stockley.

These emails if proven to be genuine must spell the end for Doncaster and Regan. I would presume that JJ would not risk a huge libel case and therefore i would conclude that they are indeed real. Now I can only presume that Duncan Fraser will have been made aware by somebody by now that these emails have been made public. He does indeed come over as being concerned with the outcome at that time but essentially states that because of what happened he felt unable to take these concerns any further. The haste with which this matter was dealt with and the ensuing loss of the Big Tax Case appeals by oldco prove that the SFA and SPL/SPFL wanted this matter swept under the carpet asap and the initial loss in a lower court of the BTC provided them with that opportunity and the limited scope of the Nimmo Smith "judgement" (bear in mind he was retired when he carried this out and his report holds no legal authority in the slightest) allowed them to claim a level of gravitas that your ordinary punter may not have realised was actually totally phoney. Now the BTT has went against oldco there is now a window of opportunity for all decent fans of Scottish football as a whole to unite and demand that the whitewash that took place in 2012/13 is revisited and proper sanctions are levied against the club in liquidation. Of course this will require a united front with fans of other clubs whom in ordinary circumstances we might find unpalatable (or even stronger) but to get the proper resolution our differences must be put aside for the time being. It worked when the SPL clubs were voting on whether to accept newco into the SPL or have them admitted into SFL1 as it was. The fans of ourselves Celtic and Dundee United have already made their positions clear. It is now up to us to lead and ensure the boards of our clubs know that if this is allowed to be whitewashed for a second time that "the game's a bogey". The threat of fans boycotting home games should see action being taken ( I'm aware that they have already received substantial funds in season ticket sales but the thought of losing 3-4k average walk up revenue plus lost income from catering etc would concentrate any board's minds). This is our chance to right the wrongs and get change in Scottish football that shows we wont allow the rulemakers to ride roughshod over everyone to suit the needs of 2 institutions and instead run the game for the benefit of everyone. "Siding" with the Dhims may be vomit inducing but they have the clout to get this ball rolling and its up to us to keep kicking that ball until the authorities act. Regan out! Doncaster out! Strip the tainted titles and get sevco properly recognised as a new entity! Stand free loons (and quines)!
