ill take a look in MBT -
How much have we paid? Hopefully theyve let us have him for free if we take over his contract which would explain the 2 years...

I have to say that a right sided central defender has to be the priority right now. We are going in to Europe with 3 recognised central defenders, one of whom however is used mainly as a left back. The nature of playing the position is that injuries like concussion are par for the course and red cards are also an occupational hazard. Should one of these happen to O'Conner then we either pair up 2 lefties in central defence or we bring in one of the under 20s, neither of which is an appealing thought facing an away leg in Bosnia unless we have a commanding lead. I thought we would have bust a gut to get Moult in over the weekend but looks like this is dead in the water too
-
If he isnt good enough for sevco he sure as f@ck aint good enough for us. He's just a taller version of Mackie. 6k a week he is on too. I want him to sit still and see out his contract at der hun ( it lasts till 2020 ) bleeding those zombies dry...
-
Not even sure Ayr is McKenna's level seeing as he struggled to get a start for much of the season. And Sibbald has found his level at Luton. If the likes of Motherwell or Partick aren't interested in taking a punt on him then I certainly don't think we should be.
-
Oh i don't know. It takes a special kind of talent to avoid hitting a 24'x8' target from a foot out..
-
Just got a text from brother in law. Harry Souttar on loan from Stoke?
-
I certainly dont expect Moult to be an option on a pre contract. If we don't sign him in this window then someone else will. And if what Elgin is saying is correct then it would appear we aren't going to try
-
If we are really serious we offer 300k which will also be rejected and they will bite at 350k. However now its known we are interested I'd expect a couple of other clubs to enter the fray. Hibs have cash to burn after flogging Cummings...
-
I would certainly hope that if Moult offer was rejected that we would go back in with at least a couple of increased bids to get him on board. If we could get him in it would probably mean the end of Stockley and given his red card record that wouldn't be a badthing at all. Maynard himself probably means the end for Storey and this is even better news than possibly getting rid of Stockley. I reckon Alex Neill has told us he wants to assess May in action, if he doesn't like what he sees we should be able to pick him up for 100 -150k in January and Maynard could be offered a free at that point.

You certainly know how to turn a meh day into a totally shit one

Unfortunately they have a worldwide, albeit bigoted and generally uneducated, fanbase. As Tlg says it is unlikely they will be shit forever. They may well even suffer yet another admin/liquidation even. No problem! The club will live on as its only the holding company that suffers... But at some point down the line a fantastically rich ( not a pseudo like Dave King) sugar daddy will appear from over the horizon and pump money in that will allow der Hun to at least challenge and perhaps overtake the Dhims. The oldco cheated everyone in the EBT years. Until the ordinary fans from every other team sees that a fitting punishment is meted out ie stripping of titles and a categorical statement that the club died in the ensuing liquidation and was totally reformed as a completely new entity, sevco (or any other phoenix act that may follow) will never be viewed as legitimate no matter how successful they may be in future. -

^^^^ This Every chairman of every club should be demanding the SFA and SPFL initiate completely new investigations as to how oldco's tax evasion allowed them to sign players of a quality they would not have been able to afford ordinarily. Hun supporters are portaying this as a Celtic v Deadco/Sevco issue. Bullshit. It affected every club in the top division during those cheating years and every other club they faced in cup competitions. For instance clubs may have been relegated from the SPL as it was on the strength of their results against oldco being marginally worse than the team immediately above them. (of course this is hypothetical and the results against a weaker sevco may still have been the same but it is a valid argument these clubs could make in a claim for loss of income) This must not be allowed to be swept under the carpet. Get those titles wiped from the record books, fire anyone still in an executive SFA/League position who was complicit in this fiasco and consider pressing charges if fraud is suspected. -
Its exactly his level. Wish the loon all the best with this move he wasn't really the level we required ( although I've seen a lot worse) but no matter what no one could ever question his effort and committment to the club. And his leaving message to the club/fans was absolute class. Now lets get his replacement sorted.

Sevco were the beneficiaries of the biggest cover up in Scottish football history. When oldco were liquidated no one mentioned at all it was only the holding company and that the club remained intact. There was undue haste by BDO to sell the assets of oldco to Charlie Chuckles for a knockdown 5 million including Mordor and Sir Minty Park, 2 extremely valuable pieces of real estate which in the open market would have achieved much better returns for the creditors. I firmly believe that there was collusion between Dungcaster, Regan and Chuckles at this point to create the "I bought the history" line which further developed into the "club separate from company" bullcrap. Anyway congratulations Hector. Now I want to see tax bills landing on the doorsteps of the beneficiaries. I want to see Dungcaster and Regan banished to the North Pole with only 2 cut price sevco replica strips and a Broxiburger to sustain them. But most of all I want every fuckin title those cheatin hoors gained ceremoniously stripped and the record books adjusted to read "Void, no title awarded due to cheating" Fuck oldco, fuck sevco. Stand free! -

Well that was 2 hours of pleasurable reading. 80 odd page thread beginning with jizzing over who they might get in the 3rd round and speculating the group stages were a definite possiblility and ending with "taig crossbars" and various methods of lynching the Portugeezer. It'll be a long time before this one is topped. They slagged us plenty for being out of Europe before the schools went back. These clowns are out of Europe before the f@ckin schools break off  Sevco. The gift that keeps on giving all year round -

Caixinha "I no longer want my players to play in green boots because that is the colour of Celtic" Dave King "But what about the grass Pedro?" Caixinha "I will still play him at left back" -
I wont be unhappy if this is correct. The inflated wages he would attract would be better spent on Walker....600k and i think theyll take it

Did consider him no doubt a skilful player but I believe there is a reason that at 25 despite constant speculation linking him with various bigger clubs notably sevco around a year ago, he is still still stuck at Hamilton. That reason being he is just physically too slight in stature. In a team full of hammer throwers such as Hamilton this isnt really a problem but put him into a more cultured footballing side, when things are going against you, 1-0 down to Rossco away from home on a wild winter's night at half time, he simply has not got the attributes required to dig the team out of the hole they are in. Tbh I have the same reservations about Stewart but he is here now so I have to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Was thinking last night of who we could actually go for should McLean be sold. Only one in Scotland who I could come up with is Liam Henderson at the Dhims who if anything was probably further out the first team picture there than either Christie or GMS until the last few games of the season when they were resting guys up for the Cup final. He had an excellent season at Hibs on loan 2 yrs ago but played so little last season its difficult to judge but you would think 400k would be enough to get him in permanent which should leave a healthy profit from any cash we get for McLean. Could be used to strengthen in January when injuries and suspensions start kicking in.

But bad news if we end up with josh fucking windass as his replacement
