Then Calderwood clearly failed to get the message through to them then. I have said for years we have the thickest and largely naive team in the league, I have seen nothing to change that this season. That was more than made up for with effort and organisation. There is currently a lack of both despite having a pretty full squad to pick from. Was there really any need for Severin to play midfield? The tactics and line up should matter very little, the players just went through the motions and deserve every boo and curse heading their way but Calderwood will be the one that actually takes the brunt. He is the where the buck stops and it is down to not being able to prepare the players well enough to have the attitude to go out and do cunts that are nowhere near our standard. It has happened way too often.

This is it sharpie, the utter dross being associated with the job on here is putting the shiters right up me! I maintain that there are good managers who would want the job, I am not of the opinion that the folk mentioned hereabouts are that.

Calderwood could have won the cup this year and it wouldn't have been enough for some, he could get 3rd and it wouldn't be enough. It hasn't already in fact but I think the majority were prepared to accept some erraticisms for the greater good. That acceptance has dwindled to virtually nothing and I suspect even a (very unlikely) charge for 3rd wouldn't arrest that for most fans. The trouble is (as has been pointed out already) he won't walk, we realistically can't afford to pay him and his team off either. I should also say that one straw appears to have broken this particular camels back but it isn't really, it is a build up of shoddy cup results against what should have been shooty in opposition. But then, we all thought he was god or "the best thing since sliced sunblest" which is as far removed from the truth as can be.

Most who made their opinions known on Calderwood did it in such a way that fully merited ridicule. The thing is, the longer you say it the more chance there is of it coming true and the utter fucking self righteousness when we lost under Calderwood was nothing short of moronic. As I said a couple of weeks back I really wonder why some folk bother going, they contribute very little but negativity and are conspicuously quiet when we succeed at anything. Results change things though and the mounting history of needless cup defeats has definitely swayed me, I'm fairly certain we have a reasonable wee group of players but there is clearly something amiss with the mentality of a team that does this with such established regularity. The manager is het for that. But with football managers I guess the longer you say a manager should go, the bigger your chances of being proved right as most get the bullet. I am fucking gutted, totally fucking miserable but not because JC has pished on his chips but because the team I support is out of the cup to fucking muppets and my team seem not to have given a fuck. JC like the players is only temporary. Good managers will want to come to us.
