Yeah, Clark was very reminiscent of Connor, I liked Connor as it goes, another very good player and unfairly treated by a lot of Dons fans.
What a midfield that was.
I've only seen 3 or 4 episodes of Dexter and it is excellent but shift work fucks up any chance of watching a series all the way through.
Anyone remember a programme on Ch 4 called Psychos? Dougie Henshall played a psychiatrist with bi-polar disorder in a psychiatric hospital in Glasgow, it was fucking brilliant.
Hilarious!
Got the Airdrie 7 scud game on video along with the Eoin Jess show against Falkirk the same season.
Had Shearer not picked up a knee injury against Hearts that day I could have seen us a lot closer at the end of that season.
One guy conspicuous by his absence of mention from this period is Lee Richardson. He was a damn good player. Couldn't lace Jazzers boots but no many could.
AFC fans, fucking brilliant eh?
QI, Mock The Week, The Professionals, Family Guy, Grand Designs, Top Gear, Hill St Blues, CSI, Scrubs. Also watched Sopranos, Band of Brothers, 6 Feet Under (first 2 series), lost (first 3 episodes, lost interest), History of Scotland.
Jim Bett was a sublime footballer. I remember one 40 odd yard pass to big Mixu at Parkhead which Mixu duly scored. Mixu had nothing much to do, such was the quality of the pass. But that Hearts game was a wee cameo of Jazzer of old, tough as old boots and playing great passes bringing the younger legs like Jess and Wright into the game. Brilliant player.
Got the 6-2 match on video, fuckunh great stuff! Bett and Toss on the touchline is class, Toss gives Bett some attention only for Jazzer to fling him arse over tit and punt the divot from the tackle at the cunt! Class!
That's probably the only thing saving him from automatically getting sent on his way. Most fans and Calderwood especially, can see the quality he can bring to the team. It would appear that Calderwood is giving him every opportunity to both get fit and then prove he can stay that way. I'll be gutted if he doesn't do it and leaves but if he can't do it before the end of the season, there is little choice.
I reckon a fit Smith is infinitely more valuable than a fit Lovell. We rarely had/have either though.
Smith is a fucking excellent fitba player and if we can get him fit is one we have to keep.
