  2. What one's the mother???
  3. Dirty dirty mental bastards.
  4. That's a lot of untraded ginger boatils. And where's LS when you need him? Buying unsafe electrical items?
  5. Cost £23.5 and has only enhanced his reputation since and he was only 22/23 at the time, add to that the inflated prices in the EPL, should they get him for 35 mill it would be s decent bit of business. I'd reckon on Chelsea being quite keen to deal tbh honest. Guilleme Ballache reckons it's been done at 36 ish.
  6. Don't see it.
  7. Poor stuff.
  8. This is hilarious, they start hate filled campaigns against folk telling it pretty much as it is, but folk blatantly profiteering from the freshly dying carcass of their club? Not a fucking dickie burd.
  9. Huns need to lower the wage bill and McCoist takes a 50% wage cut to drop his wages to an eye watering 450k per year. They're fucked.
  10. Wouldn't subscribe to the notion of a love-in but agree with pretty much all of the rest. With Tate coming in it doesn't seem essential to get him back but McInnes seems very keen to get him back. Think it's his apparent flexibility.
  11. Our strikers are patently not doing well enough as a group, we could do with another player in there and he is a good player. I accept the argument he's cup tied but if he scores even just 5 or 6 goals the chances are it'll be worthwhile. If his attitude is pish, he won't play, if he doesn't train, he won't play. But aye, McInnes will be looking to disrupt the dressing room. Frankly if that group of players can't handle the introduction of Goodwillie they are not the players I think they are and McInnes isn't the manager I think he is.
  12. You're way off. I was complaining that JC shouldn't have been sacked and McGhee was not the right appointment. Having watched the match that day the players DID look shite and it's not like I was wrong, was it? Bearing in mind it wasn't his first competitive match, was it? We'd already had the infamous Sigma debacle. But yeah, we're talking about signing a good player, a manager with a good record (you may check that on Wikipedia if you fancy) and there's folk moaning. Brilliant.
  13. Zola is part of a squad that's 2nd. But yeah, if he signs, McInnes has made a cunt of it, so let's slate him and Goodwillie before he's even got a fucking blazer on. Dons fans at their best.
  14. So, are the folk saying no questioning the judgement of the manager in signing a promising striker who cost a EPL club 1.5 million quid not so long ago? As a person, don't know him, not sure I'd want to either, as player, very decent and I'm satisfied McInnes will get something out of him. Our other 2 strikers are not prolific.
  15. Now this isn't the most authoritative account but I heard a BBC correspondent with a heavy Reds leaning may have retweeted something some dude was doing in a FM game or some such, as transfer gossip.
  16. Couldn't fail to be.
  17. Apparently not.
  18. And precisely the same folk will be calling for the managers head a quarter of a century later.
  19. Austerity measures beckon!
  20. But none of this relates to DM's time in charge though, which may be even more expensive.
  21. 25 years later? Aye, precisely the same.
