Just coming to a conclusion mate. I watched Nicholson a lot on Saturday and he played ok but you know when you get the feeling someone isn't doing quite what they can? He pinged a great goal and made some tremendous runs into the box but there were times when I swear you could see him pulling out of challenges, maybe it was just me. He got MOTM but I'm effed if I know how, Miller was the best player on the park by some distance.

I will be spitting fire if Maguire starts on Tuesday. He was absolutely awful against Gretna, he lost possession NEARLY every time he had it. Fuck sake, even when he scored he STILL gave it away. Glad Calderwood saw it and despite his goal he hooked him but you still get that feeling Jimmy will play him. Miller and Mackie/Lovell for me, Mackie has a decent scoring record (by AFC standards) against the tims and Lovell has at least looked well up for it when he's appeared if the quality has been missing. I'd be more inclined to let Lovell get the jersey.

I'd agree that it probably wasn't the best gamne for an experiment but I'd have to agree wi Padre that the atmosphere appears pretty dull in the SS albeit from a distance. That said the view is as good as anywhere in the SPL. I'll probably give it another whirl before completely binning the idea though.
