  1. Bleeding fannies.
  2. As I said, inappapropriate for him to be attempting to so publicly rally the team when his commitment to it's future is so much in doubt. I'm not in any way bitter either, I want him to stay.
  3. What has that to do with this discussion? I would still not have picked him, I was simply pointing out I didn't say "drop him" in this thread, I'm well aware of what I said.
  4. Yes, as I said, I agreed with you. But Calderwood has never, to my knowledge, said his reason for leaving him out of the team is because he's quiet.
  5. It sure is. There's grass on the pitch at Pittodrie?
  6. Who did then? You quoted me.
  7. I still think our players are better. That leaves more issues, Calderwoods ability to motivate them, though in a semi-final they shouldn't need any and his ability to convey his tactics to them. Calderwood, IMO, is dealing with the thickest team in the SPL and still insists upon employing different formations and tactics on a weekly basis. This is our problem.
  8. I didn't say "drop him". I said "fuck up". A rallying call from Zander would be far more appropriate. This isn't.
  9. Yes, IF that's what it is. Everyone seems very happy to have a pop at Calderwood over this despite not knowing what happened between the 2 of them.
  10. Milne in particular and the board in general.
  11. Sign on or fuck up. Bit hard to take a "rallying call" from someone who still hasn't said whether he is staying or not.
  12. Thought alopecia saw to that?
  13. It really only would be Smith and Nicholson.
  14. True. They are spectacularly dense and need the security of a familiar formation. It sounded like 442 on the radio but very quickly I realised it wasn't when I heard Mackie referred to as "out wide". Ridiculous tactics.
  15. Sooner the better. There has been a very obvious tailing off of his effort in recent weeks, somewhat unsurprisingly around the same time he was told he was staying until the end of the season despite a couple of offers for him. Lovell and Smith.
  16. A suggestion no-one who plays for AFC seems willing to take on board. I'll say it again, I firmly believe we have the thickest squad in the SPL.
  17. I am surprised anyone has strong feelings either way for a final not involving AFC. As it goes, I hope United win. I cannot ever imagine wanting the huns to win fuck all unless it has some benefit to us.
  18. I think is the crux of the matter for me. We don't have anyone smart or aware enough to change things on the park when events necessitate changes. We have very little in the way of driven or motivated players though as said previously, in a cup semi final, the first for 7 years, all the motivation should be laid out in front of you. To a man, their heads should be hanging in fucking shame but somehow I doubt whether it is a matter of any consequence to them.
  19. Him and Foster haven't been fit to wear the jersey for some time now. The team need some stability, something that Calderwood seems dead set against providing. A bit of familiarity, primarily at the back. Calderwood, to be fair, has been let down by some fucking awful performances, collectively and individually and some jaw droppingly ridiculous individual errors but that said, a settled back line is essential. Just get a back four and fucking play them Jimmy for fuck sake. McNamara, Diamond, Byrne, Maybury. Stick with it. The midfield is a Jakki Brambles. Foster cannot keep a hold of the ball, I wasn't there last night but I just know he gave it away cheaply every other timne he got it. Walker getting a first team game in a semi final after just signing is ridiculous and Seve has lost a yard, at best, sit him in front of the defence or on the bench. The front 2. Or 1. (Fuck sake Jimmy, 1 up front in a semi against 2 big bruising centre halves is just the worst tactical decision I have heard of for some time). Again, something settled, that does NOT involve Young playing as an kind of striker, auxiliary or fucking otherwise. Oh and leave Maguire in the hairdressers.
  20. Hardly in a fit state to conduct a post mortem examination then.
  21. Nope. It was in the EE, that's enough.
  22. Well it was in the EE . . . . . .
