Stubo, I've defended the position of Langfield for some time, perhaps a little too long in retrospect. The team in general isn't great, they do make mistakes but as btr has referred to, Langfield is not quite where he was a couple of years back where your argument was similar to mine ie for the money we're paying we probably can't expect better. That boat has sailed, particularly when a keeper that is by no means exceptional is a better option. I think we can do better than either of them.

He does need to shut his trap and get in wi it but he's the better keeper. He should also be playing.

It isn't him that needs told, I suspect Langfield will be only too aware of the fuck up, it's the manager and the gk coach that don't quite seem to have worked this out. We do however have a number of colossal cunts in our support.

I'm not fooled by that old shite either but he is the best we currently have and should be playing. I agree he ain't all that either but is the no.1. Defended Langfield before but that ship sailed a while back.

I've defended Langfield before but last season he was comfortably overtaken by Brown as no.1. Brown made a complete cunt of that game, took Naysmith off and a corner almost instantly isn't closed down, leading to a thoroughly innocuous ball making it through a keeper who isn't there on merit. Vernon was a total waste of a jersey today, now whether this is because he genuinely stank is debatable, I thought he was badly used. A decent performance at a tough place and in SPL terms a tough team but hamstrung by bad performances and, I think, poor tactics. I'd love to take some positives out of it but the choices made by the manager mean I just can't.

I'd have thought the fun and handling in a Scoobie would generally be found beyond the speed limit on most roads. I got a ban after picking up 4 in 3 years but never got caught doing the naughty stuff, it was all just a few miles over. Never really liked the Scoobies much, or the Mits, just thought they were dog ugly, good motors, just ginger ugly. As far as my current veedub is concerned, handling and speed need not fucking apply!
