  1. Fair point.Probably brainwashed by his Dad,a big Celtic fan
  2. Good lad
  3. FFS thats all we need A bit rich an Inversneckian calling us SSBs like ps Anthony, how did a Russian become an Aberdeen fan?
  4. Dont hold your breath.McInnes said in the paper today he's looking to add 2 before the end of the window.Christie is the first one....
  5. I know he was rated at ICT ,but must admit, but dont know much about Ryan Christie.Had a scan for info about him.Apologies for the smelly link. The Tims seem to rate him highly too http://thecelticblog.com/2017/01/blogs/ryan-christie-will-return-to-celtic-and-be-a-star/
  6. I was there (sigh from the younger loons as the old gits wallow in nostalgia again) Big Dons support down that day.Me and my pal got the train thru to ABZ,intending to catch a 'luxury' Alexanders coach down, but a guy in a van turns up at the station and offers us a lift for half the price.Yasss we thought.Nipped off for a few tinnies and off we set... A nightmare trip in one of those Old Transits sitting on a coruggated metal floor.Felt every bump, and couldnt see out the back window when you sat down. Needed another carry out at Forfar to ease the suffering (hic) A good win though, shite game IIRC. led onto my fave SC final. Only higlights I can find. Were in that bounce somewhere https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xUmBhyF7JSM
  7. Similar to Al,lots of veg I couldna look at for years.Very few i dont like these days. Re - veg delivery cabbages - scooped the core out of a cabbage, and tried a couple of fillings. Not bad,as long as you dont over cook the cabbage.Comes off in clumps when you start to cut it if too soft. Also tried making a soup with a red cabbage.Had it 2 days in a row.A weird purple colour the first day, turned blue the next This is about the best recipe Ive found so far http://allrecipes.com/recipe/234975/golabki-stuffed-cabbage-rolls/

Aye,nice wee cameo from Johnny Hewitt near the end too
  9. Maybe,Cant see us getting better than Consi though...
  10. Heard McInnes saying he hopes to get one or two more in before the window closes, dependant on ins and outs elsewhere.Be a tad dissapointed if he's settling for Shinnie in midfield though
  11. I just canna mind that bitterness back in the day.We won the important stuff, they got the left overs I hate(d) them when we play them, and thats it.Youd have folks on Abmad calling them a tinpot irrelevant little club, but droning on and on about them every other post

  13. Highlights clip here http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/scotland/38710927
  14. Its a good point TC. I found the anti UTD threads on Abmad cringeworthy, almost obsessive at times(SMsW waving our honours list at every opportunity).Like they were trying too hard to mock, but secretly worried,if not jealous? of UTD at times UTD/AFC was a healthy rivalry back in the day from what I remember, but the nastier side in the last few years seemed to start on internet forums(c/w keyboard warriors),though not noticed on Donstalk so much Hope them and Hibs get back up too. Both good away trips
  15. East Fife at home
  16. Come across a few in the hills. Was walking up Glen Ey a few years back and spotted something on the track I was walking on.Got a bit closer and realised it was a curled up Adder.Thought it must be dead since it hadnt moved away.Picked up a bit of gravel and pinged it at it just to make sure, but still no movement.Went up for a closer look, and it bolted upright at me,before it scurried off into the grass.Nae sure if it was an attempted bite, but it fair left an impression in my underwear Did all the Arrochar Alps Munros after New Year.Theyre all fine hills with great views(if you block out the glimpses of the Weege),especially to the West.A couple of routes for 2 of them below. Ben Vorlich - Theres a visitor centre at Inveruglas on the edge of Loch lomond. Most folk set off from there, but theres a parking space further West about 1/2 a km on the rhs with space for a few cars as long as you dont block the access The track in the foreground^^^is the one you follow round towards the dam at Glen Sloy.Follow the track all the way for about an hour(ignore a track off to the right early on),and you will see the Dam in front of you.The start of the ascent up Ben Vorlich is marked by a cairn, which is situated around 4 pylons back from the dam From there up its a fairly steep first half hour before the gradient eases off.Easy to follow path that twists and turns all the way to the summit.Theres a concrete trigpoint which most folk think is the summit, but the true summit is at the cairn further beyond.Took me around 4hrs up and down The Cobbler - Park at Succoth car park,on the West side of the village of Arrochar.A well made path starts across the road, and heads up the glen between The Cobbler and Beinn Narnain. Its a busy hill, with all ages heading up.As you look at it from the South its an imposing, rocky, quite intimidating looking hill, but the path up starts at the opposite end on a gentler but still steep ascent The below photo is from Beinn Narnain looking at the east side of the Cobbler, also a bit off putting from this angle. The approach from Succoth car park is in the glen down below from the left, and the path up starts further along to the right of the photo ,up a gentler grassier, but still steep slope.A toughie with a bit of scrambling at the summit, but great views West down Loch Long [/url
  17. Elgin 1 - SSB 2 County 6 - UTD 2
  18. Looks like someone doesnt like what you said
  19. If the trend of recent times has been for locals to move to the Aberdeen suburbs and beyond, and the stadium being located next to the AWPR making easier access for the 50ish% of fans who come from the North,South and West(and for many folks in town),the location doesnt seem such a bad idea to me. And if the sale of Pittodrie generates what? £15m say ?,a significant sum towards the cost of a new build, why would you patch and repair an old building (without that £15m),in an area where a growing population of incomers*, may have no particular allegiance to the Dons Re - walking to the stadium .I,and lots of others winna be walking for a mile along grassy verges to watch a game of football. If the powers that be are stupid enough to not have something in place for this, then theyll pay for it in folks not bothering *Be interesting to know what the demographic is these days of folks in Torry,Seaton and City Centre though. **Had a wee look,55,000 migrants to the city since 2002,around 60% of whom settled in City Centre/East side of city
  20. Paperwork night for me tonight, but enjoying some bottles of Guinness golden ale in the process . Nice
  21. Express think were 'closing in' on Stevie May... Cant post link
  22. In or Oot - In Furryboots - SSX If I can get a ticket Pre/post - driving Prediction - AFC 0 - SFC 4(Reynolds x4)
  23. Ahve no time for Milne, but being the owner of a football club has never been a way to make money RS. Whats Milne got or getting out of his involvement.Nae sure what Milnes ploughed in,but I know AAM put in a couple of million they didnt get back If its a case of doing up Pittodrie for eg £25m,or, getting X£m for the land at Pittodrie, plus the £25m towards a purpose built stadium, whats the problem(assuming the X£m goes to the stadium)?.
  24. You boys happy enough with the picture descriptions by your sides?
