  1. He nearly always says or explains something you dont hear a manager normally say
  2. Didnt see that coming at H/T,what a second half, what a result. Was still twitching with 5 to go,waiting for the dodgy penalty or something but didnt happen.Sets us up nicely for 3rd spot, and its financial rewards. Also hearing that we're in negotiations with Bristol regards a £2m deal for McRorie, who I like, but we'd be mad not too accept that sort of money.Great end to the weekend
  3. Pfft, did well to get to H/T at 0 - 0. 80% posession to them.Hope Barrys got a plan B second half.A bit of composure, stringing passes together might help. Duncan off,Coulson or Barron on?
  4. Just back from the Highland league title decider at Buckie.Seen Buckie a few times recently, and this was the poorest Ive seen them.Brechin not much better but prob deserved it.Good crowd inc a large noisy contingent from Brechin
  5. Re - Duncan, was a tough game to see what he's made of over 90 mins, the Hun game might give opportunity to express himself more. Also be interesting to see if Robson's current style are what we continue to see going forward, or to stabilise us for now and we get to see if he has more about him tactically in future game situations
  6. Uncomfortable but good win in the end.If we can make better use of the ball when we have it in these type of games it might be less squeeky bum Pressure on Hearts. Hope we appeal the Shinnie red card. Re Clarkson - says he's loved every minute here, hopefully a deal can be done but maybe optimistic
  7. Fair play to Phil Gould for taking the time to do all that Fine job,and still a great drummer....
  8. I'd planned to go to this, but luckily it was already sold, as Ive only now realised its on the Fri pm Oot Prediction - We'll need to be up for it.Take an ugly 1 nil - Clarkson special
  9. Agreed but Jimmy never tried them together long enough. Was either Miller and Mackie,or Lovell and flippin Mackie, rarely Miller/Lovell for some reason Harper/Archibald Tie for 2nd place Shearer/Paatelainen v Miovski/Duk
  10. Good result, healthy crowd and Hearts continuing to fall apart, not a bad afternoon. Some good passages of play along with spells of untidy stuff.Duk and Miovski Linked up better than of late. Duncan wasn't far off the pace, but made a mixture of poor choices and clumsy passes which you'd hope would improve with a run of games.Got the attributes of a good player. Nobody brilliant but Hayes,Miovski ,Duk and Clarkson all good. Roos, dodgy kicking aside, made some important saves.Like to think we can get more out of them before the season ends Had to leave at 4.30 just before Bavidge came on,sounds like he didn't look out of place? Hopefully means we see more of him
  11. Defence never looked as assured when McKenna left, which affected Lewis confidence IMO,along with deteriorating standard of latter McInnes signings
  12. Think Scales and Coulson did well together last time they were in the same side(Motherwell?). Coulsons got more tricks up his sleeve than Jonny for a stuffy defence like Killie.Stick with Duk and Miovski first half and get Watkins on second if one of them not cutting it. In Mainer(very few tickets left) Prediction - Killie played well last w/e,take a scrappy 2 - 1 win. Miovski back on track x2
  13. Did Swansea have much money? Curious,as i cant actually mind, but maybe he'd relish the underdog type club.Fairly had them punching above weight
  14. Made a few quid might fancy the challenge...
  15. Was driving listening on radio second half. Sounded a bit lucky to hang on for the 3 points. Will take it,with Hearts and Hibs bottles crashing. Keep our eye on St Mirren though.
  16. Not a great watch, but thatll do.Duk seems a bit off the pace, hopefully gets more involved second half
  17. Try this for a link https://hesgoaltv.me/sc204.html
  18. Got 6 - 1 Dons written all over it. Be good to see Bavidge get a run out at some point, and Duncan all being well.COYR
  19. Blighter
  20. Only till the end of the season.Cant see too much harm in it...
  21. CR9 gets a double on his debut for Columbus Crew https://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/fp/sport/football/aberdeen-fc/5548105/former-aberdeen-striker-christian-ramirez-reveals-frustration-of-final-season-at-pittodrie-as-he-scores-a-double-on-columbus-crew-debut/
  22. Nice. Is that a gorse with the yellow flowers, first pic. I heard Scots introduced it over there as a cheap means of fencing livestock, but its since become a bit of a nightmare from spreading and the fire risk
  23. I dont think Robson can argue it would be reasonable now to give him til the end of the season, and review at that time..rather than giving him a longish contract,(despite the need for player replacements etc). You'd hope we have potential targets, taking into account where we are managerial wise. Re Robson - I think he has the brains for the job,but have a wee hunch he doesnt have the stomach for it long term, but we'll see...
  24. We saw mid season '20/21 that we were capable of playing a better brand of football, with not the best squad we've had,...but, at around the same time we were losing key players too, along with aging players which knocked things on the head that season. Good to have reasonable aims for entertaining fitba,do we actually know if Glass and co were being told to entertain despite players that werent up to the task,? Re Saints - Would like to head down, not sure Ive time.Saints reasonably comfortable, not sure how theyll approach this one,but our confidence must be pretty high the noo,be surprised if we dont win this one. In or Oot - Oot for now Prediction 1 - 3 Dons Duk,Clarkson,Duncan,....though Fido Coulson wont be far from my thoughts
  25. Think it was international duty for Dutch U21s?
