In - .....If the Main stand isnt in Norway by Sat night . Quite like the weekend evening kick offs,though Friday night preferable(whole w/e to do other stuff). Another game where we dont know what to expect,as dundee seem to be pretty solid,..and were unsure where Robson is on the learning curve(assuming he's on it). Consensus seems to be that neither of the first team players played well,esp Dadia,but that lack of competitive/reserve matches like these are contribuiting to lack of match sharpness

Agreed,the back 3 were pretty sound,but we looked so disjointed going forward,esp first half.Not enough players showing for the ball,or providing a passing option.Better in the second half when we showed more urgency,might have helped if we'd started the game that way. Saints played a bit better than expected,but toothless up front.Pass marks for the back 3 and Barron, rest were a bit meh.

Would have been an undeserved lead,Saints are moving the ball about better than us.We can't be worse in the second half? Only upside is the hot soup in the main stand

Hoping Barron can start,and maybe move Clarkson higher up. Reluctant to rest Shinnie but St J are about as poor a side we'll meet top flight,as good a time for it.Think this game might suit Duk too In Mainer Prediction 2 - 0 Don's . Duk x2

If we'd shown the same urgency before they scored,and Barron had on,we might have had a different outcome.They were shaky first half,but grew into the more we pussy footed about.A lot more like it late second half, but too little too late.New experience for a lot of them,hopefully learn from it

No highlights anywhere? Re Rubezic - seen various comments from the usual suspects(elsewhere),Donkey,get rid,... blah blah. Is him being raw but with potential reasonable to say? He's actually pretty ripped,but in a chunky way,hence defenders were bouncing off him on Saturday

Enjoyed that.Jensen and Gartenmann were both great.Aggresive,good positioning/timing,and make good use of the ball.Barron and Shinnie both excellent,and McGrath good too.Duk was back to winning/coming away with impossible balls,great to see him scoring,and Miovski with a deserved couple of goals.Makes you wonder what the Hearts performance was all about. You'd hope its a springboard for Wed,and Saturday,lets see what happens...
