  1. Joe Lewis going a bit Amish MacLennan so clumsy
  2. Better fro,m MacLennan whos been honking so far
  3. Jittery stuff so far
  4. A big loon. link working so far http://www.hesgoal.com/news/75849/Dundee_United_vs_Aberdeen.html
  5. Heres the latest Here we go podcast, with an interview with Atlantas in house commentator talking highly of Stephen Glass Here’s Where The Story Ends (podbean.com)
  6. Kinda curious to see what Glass could do on the one hand,...on the other,am not sure he'd have enough of a presence/aura for players or fans to buy into....,just a hunch.Maybe a bit like Cathro who seemed well qualified for the job at Hearts. If it is Glass, think we'd need to be smart with the choice of assistant Though I'm kinda hoping for something a bit more leftfield that fires the imagination No to Scott Brown,..Billy Davies? nae sure about him, became a bit paranoid towards the end of his Forest job did he not? Always thought he was a bit of an oddball, but did have a decent record prior to that
  7. Not a gambling man so not sure how significant this is,but betting suspended on Steven Glass as manager on Sky Bet,and elsewhere ? https://m.skybet.com/football/manager-specials/event/27263149
  8. hints of Sheryl Crowe - Nicki Bluhm
  9. Wouldnt be averse to asking Ferguson at least, but would have my doubts if he'd come here.Been in the English game a long time, might see us as a backward step?. If he was persuaded though,as long as we had the right assistant to counter his weaknesses, whatever they may be,..tactics,diplomacy ? etc Think the US candidates might struggle to adjust after their first Wintry Tuesday night at Pittodrie being booed off the park, but you dont know til you try....
  10. Only got Sgurrs Dearg,Alasdair,Mhic Chonnich and Dubh Mor to do,not sure i'll ever manage the In Pinn though, even with a guide. Did you get many Munros done before you left?
  11. With Frank McGarveys housing tastes...
  12. Havent done An Teallach,or Liathach but did Aonach Eagach just over a year ago.It was a fantastic day out,but if the weather hadnt been perfect and I was on my own I doubt I would have had the balls to complete. There were a couple of down climbs that I needed my fellow walker to guide my feet. what Ive gathered about AT and Liathach is you can make it as difficult as you want by going over all the tops, but that there are bypass routes if you dont fancy them, though some of the bypasses are said to be almost as dodgy as going over the tops. Only 60 left to do,but nae sure I'll actually complete. Pic is of the Chancellor on Aonach Eagach IMG_8018 (1) by , on Flickr
  13. Panes me to say he could well be in the frame. Of the names going around, the ones that interest me are the Knutsens(Norway),Maloney plus a n other, and a probably out of our reach Maresca. Goodwin the onlyone of the Scottish contingent
  14. Calvin Zola @66/1 might be worth a fiver
  15. Blimey ^^^ what a mouth watering list ...?
  16. Went to bed assuming his departure was fake news,so a wee bit surprised today. 8 years is a long time these days,it had all gone a bit familiarly stale. Appreciate what he did though, wish him well. Havent seen anyone mentioned that fires the imagination. Aim high, ask someone thats made their money who fancies getting in about the Gruesome twosome before we lower the bar to the usual suspects
  17. Think its fake news.
  18. I think even if theres still McInnes fans out there,a new start after the weird year weve had would be best all round to forget it all. Imagine how deflating to finally get into Pittodrie, to be served up a St J 0- 0 classic.
  19. Saint and Greavsie,lol,...a must watch on a Saturday lunchtime.Think Saint was a bit of a Dons fan was he not?.Sure there are pictures of him celebrating with the '76 league cup side Great player in his day too.Sad news...
  20. Thats the annoying thing,...how limp our efforts have been(even allowing for injuries) in getting after Celtic initially and Hibs recently. And how average we look when at our best
  21. Worth an enquiry at least if he wouldnt be a first choice with the Tims
  22. Good record v Killie.Soon sort that out,lol Dons 0 - Killie 0. A Tommy Wright shitefest
  23. Whether or not McInnes was told to play a more entertaining brand of football at the start of the season,we did see that he is capable of it during that purple patch in Sept. How much was down to him,or a coincidental good mix of players at one time is debatable. We have to give him leeway for the horrific injuries and timings of departures. Its whether Mcinnes reverted to type as a result,or was/is it more the remaining players havnt got the collective gumption among them to attack effectively. Jurys out on Hornby, but I like the look of Kamberi,..but we still need to get the mix right in the other areas .Doesnt look like were going to get rid of McInnes soon(barring disaster) so we might as well see what we can do with what weve got til the end of the season and make a decision then? By the way,I was a McInnes out at the end of last seasons eye watering football, and the season before, but was happy to give him a bit more time after watching the early season stuff.Looking more like a false dawn, who knows...
  24. Agreed, surprised he lasted so long in management. Reckon he lived off the "worked under O'Neill" label, til it wore off/got seen thru. As Sancho says, doubt he'll be stuck for work via the old boys network....hopefully not with us
