  1. My era,but I had no idea that one was by the Cure.Great tune. Would never have known that was Robert Smith in the above clip.Looks nothing like the guy that morphed into the 'Love Cats' era.A song which makes my skin crawl unfortunately.....
  2. Are you talking about Greig Leigh, left back(EDIT - yes you are). On loan til the end of the season, and possible permanent move.Got a reasonable background https://www.afc.co.uk/news/
  3. Love this.top guitar work,if you ignore the head bangs
  4. All seems to have gone quiet on the Ryan Fraser front. Was it just wishful speculation on Dons fans/Ryan Frasers part or is there still something in this?
  5. Returned to Achilitibuie this year for our annual fishing/walking trip.Normally for trout,we're happy with anything close to a lb,but one of our party fluked this freak at 4.5lb. We normally catch and release, but thought this one had had a good innings. Thought I'd recommend this little beauty of a local hill,Sgurr an Fhidlier,a pretty famous hill in hillwalking circles just along from Achiltibuie, which at 590m,punches well above its height for views and ease of access Looking back to the summer isles on the way up The easy approach can lull you into a false sense of security as further on at the far end the sharp drops take you a bit by surprise Wont give away the views but at Only 590m of ascent(less than Bennachie),the views at the end are unbelievable.Very worth the effort, and for thrill seekers, can be combined with Ben More Coigach for a narrow arete to end the day in style Ben More Coigach ridge from the roadside(click to enlarge) https://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/ullapool/sgurr-an-fhidhleir.shtml
  6. Lewis for me..
  7. Bide there,I'll get it Langfield,Mulgrew,Foster,Macdonald,Considine,Kerr,Aluko,Young,Duff,Miller,Mackie Subs Paton for Aluko,Macguire for Mackie That was a game I took someone to Pittodrie for their first visit. What an embarassment
  8. Thats more like it.Welcome aboard Craig
  9. It might work if more of our players were African, but nae so well next to pasty skinned locals
  10. Enjoyed the occasional bits of magic, but an icing on the cake type player suited to an already confident team,ie not us. oh for a Johnny Hayes....
  11. This should be fun min,(assuming you mean songs youre embarassed you like) I'll start by saying I was a blues/rock drummer locally back in the day,c/w the old Levi jacket covered in Ac/Dc /Rush/Zeppelin sew on badges at the back, the long hair blah, blah. But every so often a song would come along that you wouldnt dare to admit liking. In the early days, this one by Anita Ward ......And more recently Alphabeat .....Plenty more where that came from
  12. Cant beat a bit of SRV
  13. McKenna and Devlin are an upgrade on his partner last time(Considine?),so can only hope that ups his game.Must admit,at the time, even with mistakes,he did give us a required presence at the back, and you could see a player in there if he ironed out/anticipated errors from previous mistakes,or at least if he's too thick, someone to point out what he's doing wrong.Cant be that hard.. ps the last game i remember us being at,was it Utd? Thing I remember about it was we both agreed the crowd was around 13'000,but it was reported as 17'000.
  14. Ooft,Hopefully working alongside one of McKenna,or a fit focussed Devlin will keep him in line.,and a lot will depend how the crowd take to him.Ach well, welcome back min
  15. Nae sure if I posted this clip at Brexit time, but this guys worth a listen
  16. His appearances/appearance were enough to haunt anyone...
  17. Bit of confusion with the 'not a regular starter',along with the 'pivotal' player comments.Had a look and he played 25 times last season.Cant find the sub appearances but he averaged around 35mins a game going by stats. 17 off the bench according to p and j
  18. Know nothing about the boy,but mildly surprised he's chosen here ahead of the championship, but welcome aboard to the loon.Got to be an upgrade on Rooney/Stewart/Wilson on the wing
  19. Oops, aye youre right, getting mixed up with Ujpest Dozsa.Farsma specs....
  20. If that was a mild attempt at humour, stick to specs min I'll take the same scoreline as last time we played them though Despite over 45 years of the Dons, have never been on a Euro away jolly.Time to remedy that.Watching the draw with interest......
  21. Poor move(for them),just the stimulus the Hun need,........not ruling out us having an amazing transfer window though
  22. Remember it well too, warm sunny weather.Beat Southampton 5 -1 ,won the other and drew one I think? Wasnt too many opposition fans up for it,but seem to remember a West 'Am hard case givin it large in the SS.
  23. 'Hat's off ...... ......loved Neil Sedaka
  24. Easy cheesy listening - the California Honey drops. Top Sax solo
  25. Had his flaws, but we'll miss his drive, and also the local loon link with the fans.Midfield wasnt his natural position and hoping we can find a more complete replacement,as well as someone to compliment Ferguson,....though am struggling to think of names out there??? Good luck to him though, gave his all.
