  1. Sounds like weve been on the front foot and rewarded as a result.Should try it more often.McGinn been 'outstanding'
  2. 1 nil Dons,described as a training ground free kick.Ferguson the scorer
  3. Results wise, cant accuse us of being predictable.Tonight again could go anyway.I'll go for a 2 nil Accies win.
  4. Hills arent big enough down your neck of the woods and no Munros below loch Lomond, but welcome to join us for a winter hill wander further North.
  5. 34 is nudging middle age . Kenny,Cant remember your age,...was just going by your haggard appearance
  6. Cheers min.A fair change from the 20oC summit snooze a few weeks ago^^to this yesterday DSC00618 by , on Flickr
  7. Deeks probably still recovering from the over positive performance at Fir Park.Be nice if it was a turning point for him but wont hold my breath A meek performance in a 1 - 4 defeat. Og for the Dons
  8. Friday at last. A bit of boogie for the w/e
  9. Thought I saw a headline that Bryson might be back for this? Him and Deano in front of the defence and a cavalier front 4(cos theres not another option) to surprise Del and romp home in a 4 - 1 victory. MacLennan hat trick,Deano screamer COYR
  10. I ken moneys his God,and I agree he didnt become chairman thru love of the club, but I cant see what he's gained/gaining from the experience, apart possibly, from being seen as the local benefactor of the local club.Good for business image? Nae sure about that either tbh...
  11. Curious. What do you think Milnes own agenda is?
  12. Alternative Brexit listen Full length interview
  13. Easy listen - Chad Hollister
  14. Ive got a panel van he could be bundled into the back of....
  15. Comes a point when you just have to take that plunge. It would have been best for all if Derek had left on good terms at the end of last season with his stock still high, but while the signs were there that his time was up.Unless a manager is performing exceptionally,6 years in a job these days is longer than most. How Milne(or Derek) didnt spot the signs is a mystery, compounded by the 3 year extension. Ive no desire to see McInnes hounded out of his job,but it looks like it could get messy unless he pulls something off quickly. Do i trust Milne to appoint the right man? Nuh!! We just have to hope he flukes the right appointment
  16. If youre at deaths door soon, aim for the 5th Nov,with a funeral pyre/Fawkes night for the kids.Be selfish not to.
  17. No exaggeration to say that Scottish football was at deaths door pre 2012.If the Chairmen/powers that be cant see or anticipate the same or a worse scenario again, then youd wonder what the heck they do think about. Weve seen what crowds we and others can get when things are competitive like post 2012.Getting the fans to choose to find the enthusiasm again, for another upheaval V not bothering, and walking away for other pursuits would be the tricky part.
  18. If we're talking of packing it in(in the event of a return to the duopoly),why nae make the effort to look at the possibility of a breakaway league,as we should have 7 years ago, maybe even with an alternative AFC if it came to it
  19. Carries that form on reduces our chances of a return in January.Derby fans impressed https://dcfcfans.uk/topic/33450-graeme-shinnie/page/3/#comments
  20. Just back.Missed our goal because I couldnt see us scoring . Doesnt hide the fact at how ineffectual we were though. Both sides were amateurish in the first half.We were predictable, either punt to Cosgrove,or get it out wide and ping in a hopeful ball.Neither Ferguson nor Campbell convince me that theyre ever going to have the nous to influence enough of a game.Barely saw either of them. Was wondering how we could use Gallacher since he's here.Maybe someone to break up play and add a bit of energy to the midfield ala Willo? Alongside a cool head, like a fit Bryson etc? Ethan Ross,i would like to see what he could do with a run of games. Main? maybe trying too hard due to lack of service? ...maybe just a donkey like. Should have been 2 or 3 Hibs though, but we Doidged a bullet with their striker.Good old Sam making the most of the scraps he got. He's also pretty nifty with his feet when the balls not in the air, wish we'd try playing through teams a bit more when the punts obviously arent working Better than expected crowd, decent Hibs support, shit game.Only positive the return of McKenna side note - be interesting to know how many goals weve scored because we had to get a goal, like today, and how many weve lost or been closer to losing because we decided to manage a game
  21. ^^^can only remember one shot on target so far.poor fare from both sides. Crowd not as bad as expected.no protests
  22. Kepp your eye out for this new party in the US. The Democratic Socialists
  23. Cheers. Surprised you like that one,its a fairly typical West coast ridge up top. From the roadside they can look like a knife edge, but as per pic,nae that bad.Thats looking East, the better views were to the West. This thread was meant to appeal to the younger loons but I don't think there are any around here lol,so I'll stick up some easier must do hills for the discerning older gent when time Some more views from unfamiliar angles...
