  1. In or Oot - In Furryboots - Mainer Pre - Working Post - Driving Prediction - Reluctantly coming to the conclusion that May and Stewart cant play in the same set up.I'd bench Logan and try Hoban at R/B as a wee wake up call.Surprised, and delighted at Sams purple patch, can see it continuing this Sat. Dons to win 4 - 1 Sam,Stewart...2 fae May off the bench to unsettle KFP Crowd 13,284
  2. Nah,Hearts or Celtic at home, plucky defeat to Killie in the final
  3. One of the bigots at home next.Get it out the way
  4. Didnt see that scoreline coming, certainly at the end of the first half. Wish we'd start off on the front foot. Tricky game out the way though, good chance of a tasty tie next round.Hopefully we're finding our best line up,along with Devlin and MacKenna joining up again
  5. Look back about 40 years during the Bonthrone years and we were playing in front of sub 10k home league games. The Scottish Cup comes round, and we played Motherwell(one of my earliest SC memories) in '75 in front of 25'000. Weird how its changed
  6. Its not great, but not any worse than SC crowds of the last 20 or so years.Sure there was a game v Hibs in Calderwoods time with only 8000.League crowds have remained steady, but SC ones have nose dived for some reason
  7. In or Oot - In Furyboots - Mainer Pre/post - Driving Prediction - Sort of game Cosgrove often does well in.Tricky one though, will take any ugly win 2 - 0 Dons Cosgrove brace
  8. 3 at the back with Lowe/Logan wide,or 4 at the back with Hoban sitting on front?
  9. Oot for this one, though to be honest its not my favourite fixture Just win loons, COYR
  10. Will give the Kagoul/Orange boiler suit combo a try out sometime Heading to the Nevis area this w/e, ....-12oC at the summit forecast , though I caught a peek of Lochnagar fae the Bypass looking inviting with its full covering of snow.Would love a crack at it like that.
  11. Someone on an Villa forum said an £8m bid had been accepted, but nothing has been heard since,so probably waffle
  12. Buttery update - The boy at the Grove shoppie on Union Grove is now selling Byron bakery butteries in place of Aitkens.I like them,in my top 3 along with Thains and the Breadmaker
  13. There was word that Aston Villa were also in with £8m for McKenna, but that seems to have cooled off the last hour https://twitter.com/focusavfc?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1090989053674168321&ref_url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.afc-chat.co.uk%2Fforums%2Findex.php%3Fshowtopic%3D41630%26page%3D53
  14. Take them all...Sounds like a screamer of an OG
  15. Goal Stewart.Wonderful fitba say the Beeb
  16. Goal McGinn, nicely set up by Wright apparently
  17. Game on the radio.Logan booked already....
  18. I thought he'd gone in the sulk after donsdaft called him a 'pathetic wanker'
  19. Check his rating.Did randy Rumpus nae do something similar?
  20. Were dont like anything too heavy to avoid over warming, mainly looking for wind and rain proof,so I'm not sure warmth wise TBH.I wear a Berghaus Goretex shell, and John the other guy,a Geo Technology Norway jacket but they fairly keep out the wind and rain, supplemented by wearing a few layers beneath, and thats done the job so far. That above hill was about -3,but the jackets were off after an hour when the sun got up.Rabs a name I hear time and again for winter walks along with these type jackets for warmth https://www.trekitt.co.uk/32691/products/mountain-equipment-mens-lightline-jacket-black.aspx?currency=GBP&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIjt_H0cmO4AIVRbTtCh2DPg_HEAQYBSABEgIqcPD_BwE EDIT - -12 on the tops this W/E.See how the gear copes with that..
  21. Lots of snow about now.Was up Sgurr Ruadh last W/E at Achnashellach. One of the roughest hills weve ever walked made worse by not knowing what your feet were going into.... ..Wouldnt recommend it for a climb, but a superb viewpoint at the end. Glen Tanars a fine introductory place for low and mid level walks like this one https://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/cairngorms/glen-tanar-riverside.shtml A wee route(need an OS map) we did a couple of years back was to - park at the Bridge of Ess beside the entrance to Glen Tanar ,and follow the track going south from the East end of the bridge thru the trees, follow it over the hills Duchery Beg,Baudy Meg and back down via Black Craig and Red Craig to Bridge of Ess.Good track all the way, pines, river and good views of the Gorms in snow Webcam for conditions at the Braemar snow gate http://braemarscotland.co.uk/snowgate-webcam/
  22. Maybe needs a wee *prod to bring her to life *cattle
  23. Sounds about as reliable as his 'sell out' predictions
  24. Not too much to say. 2 shots on target, none for Killie. They are tidy and well organised, but that doesnt excuse our lack of tempo,or lack of movement and effort to create space. We were too predictable, lacking spark The McKenna to Considine,Considine to Lowe, and Lowe back to Considine passing at the back got a bit annoying after the 15th time because the options ahead were pretty much the same as when they started. Is it to increase the possession % maybe ? (Didnt wotk because Killie had about 58%) Personally would have had GMS and Cosgrove off,and tried to run at and thru them a bit more via McGinn and Wright.Maybe we were a bit disjointed because were still trying to fit Stewart in,who showed some nice touches. Highlight was Boyd getting sent off for what looked more of yellow card Crowd was 15'560 btw
  25. I swap between the Mainer and Souther thru the season and just bought a ticket for the SS,which looks 3/4 sold.Had a look at sales elsewhere online.Wont be a sell out but a pretty decent crowd, around 17'000ish
