    Soup

Might have been a better idea, but used 2 pots 21 siblings and offspring at the old dears birthday on the 2nd.No soup though
  2. Some folk suggesting its unnecessarliy long, but wouldnt imagine his wage demands have shot up too much?,and it all helps with sell-ability

    Soup

Since this thread is up,made a soup starter for Xmas day - Butternut squash, sweet potato and ginger soup 2 x medium Butternut squash, skinned and chopped 2 x large sweet potato, peeled and chopped 3 x red onion, peeled and chopped 1 peeled stem of ginger teaspoon of Turmeric teaspoon of Cumin 2 cubes of chicken stock in about a pint of hot water coconut milk Heat/fry the onions in the soup pan with butter til soft.Add the veg and chicken stock.Heat for around 30 mins til soft.Add Turmeric and Cumin, and blend.Taste, and add coconut milk and/or water according to how sweet you want it and for thickness of soup This was supposed to do 6 on Xmas day,but also did 11 on boxing day
  4. Nae probs min.The fort on Tap o Noth has an information board at the foot of the hill, but nothing at Barmekin. Some good info here https://canmore.org.uk/site/18522/barmekin-of-echt Managed up 11 munros over the festive season in between family visits.Couple of very good days... Couple of atmospheric ones A fair few drizzle and fog days 160 done,122 to go Race against time before the legs buckle up
  5. Out for this one but Stevie to continue his goal frenzy with a hat trick. COYR
  6. Would prefer a pacier attack with McInnes' tactics yesterday, moving the ball about and thru teams like Celtic quicker, though our options in that department are limited with Wright not cutting it,and MacLennan hot and cold. worth looking at when injuries lessen
  7. A cracking day on the 2 Easain Munros near Laggan on Xmas eve. A couple of smaller Deeside hills for anyone bored,or to walk off some post Tim frustration. Both with less ascent than Bennachie, good views over to Lochnagar. No snow at that level Auchtavan,Aberarder - http://www.auchtavan.com/home/plan-your-visit/ Pressendye,Tarland - https://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/aberdeenshire/pressendye.shtml
  8. Agree with most of that, except Shinnie out of the midfielders we have is about as good as weve got,...doesnt say a lot for the others. MacLennan at the Hearts game I thought was maybe subdued by their physicality, but today,I also came to the conclusion he,and Wright are a bit lazy,or picky in the games they turn it on in. Our efforts to contain meant our attack was more hope than conviction
  9. We were workmanlike but carried little threat, just working off Celtic' scraps. Still had a chance of sneaking something from the game if Mcginn had stayed on but never got Mclennan or Wright involved enough.
  10. Campbell didnt get enough of the ball to judge.MacLennan was out of sorts, whether it was Hearts physicality or just not up enough for it generally.Need him in the mood on Boxing day
  11. Just back - Always nice to beat that shower, and we did so without being on top form.Game started off like a typical Hearts game, ....physical with the ball up in the air more often than not,so it was a bit of a relief when Sam opened the scoring with a very well placed header and they were forced to try and play fitba. To be fair they knocked the ball about quite well but carried little goal threat.Us on the other hand,I think we could have added to our tally if we'd moved the ball quickly on the deck more up front when they seemed to be winning the aerial battle. Mcginn,McKenna,Logan and Cosgrove all good.McLennan seems to have a good game then a bad game,so hope he turns it on v Celtic, cos he was poor today. Good win though, COYR
  12. Memories for me are the noise walking down Merkland before the game, and afterwards, the residents on Merkland rd ie students,Poles etc outside their flats applauding us up the street
  13. Great night. Pity so many of the youtube clips are not the best quality
  14. Young loon showing J Holland how its done
  15. Should be a good one.Hope we try and rattle them from the start,be fun to see them crumble In or Oot - In Furryboots - Over to the Y for this one Pre - Working Post - Driving Prediction - 3 - 1 McGinn x2,Cosgrove
  16. Handsome win.We played very well, though I think there's room to also play up a notch. Never been a fan of Sams inclusion in the line up,mainly because we more often than not, resort to lumping long balls up to him,but we moved the ball about well, and played a lot of balls to him facing goal and looked more dangerous. He actually looks pretty useful with the ball at his feet attacking wise. Was desperate for May to get on the sheet, and he played well, but thought he backed off a bit on a couple of occasions, one time when thru on the keeper.Injury fear maybe. McLennan IMO seems to give us a more consistent contribution during a game as opposed to GMS irregular spectacular moments. A good win,at a good time of season. COYR
  17. Wind and rain easing off by KO time.Should be plenty spaces higher up the stands for dry seats.
  18. I think thats the value of their potential contracts SB
  19. Forecast a bit crap leading upto the game, but easing off just before K/O.Dundee on their day can be a bit of a banana skin, need to get at them from the off with a Livi second half type approach In or Oot - In Furryboots - Mainer Pre/Post - Driving Prediction - 3 - 1 Dons. May x3 That penalty at last opening the floodgates....
  20. MacLennan had a poor game by recent standards, but not sure anyone else was much better.Hoping conditions were the main factor and he/we can up our games on tuesday. Be good if GMSs aspirin starts taking effect,...a good time of year to kick on a bit.
  21. Also admire Hamilton,so its Kilmarnock for me.Only top flight ground Ive never been to,and not in a hurry to either, despite our good recent record re St M, same team, same intensity should see us get the points. 1 - 3 MacLennan hat trick
  22. May the Viennese waltz past and slice open the Hun defence. COYRV
  23. Giving us the GIRUY in the main stand after Livvys 2nd goal
  24. Cosgrove and May,take a lot of stick, but were very good tonight.Need a longer run together.McGinn good too, just have to accept enigmatic type players like him and GMS for the magic they can pull out the bag. MacLennan was excellent, but not sure how much that was down to their L/B being mince.Wont do his confidence any harm though. An unlikely but welcome win.Haste ye back Devlin and COYR ps GIRUY the wee Livvy sub at the Merkland end in the first half.Hun..probably
  25. Cheers,....they dinna. Didna have time for food before the game, and nae cash, hence query. Emaciated, but happy
