  1. Sam Roscoe was also on the bench recently,...had good reviews.Hopefully another option in the near future
  2. Juicy looking game. One of few away games I would consider driving down to these days, but away this w/e. Go with an on the deck, pacy attack and it could be a cracker. Also going with 2 - 3 scoreline Wright,GMS,Ferguson
  3. Not sure the guy on this forum is ITK,or having a pessimistic guess.Hope he's right http://www.acciesworld.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1248&start=20
  4. Agreed, great servant, down to earth loon, though I think he could be in his last season at left back.Happy with him in defence, think he performs better when the other defender is more prominent
  5. Never got into them, but mind them as far back as the late Seventies becoming regulars in Aberdeen.Decent innings for a band. ps If thats your recording,my brother and his bit o stuff are about 4 rows ahead
  6. Nice Netlights Dont appear to be other highlights anywhere.Betfred only have highlights of Celtic and sevco, understandably
  7. Ach well,Hibs it is.....
  8. Yogi 'shree' Hughes joins the list of fine Sportsound orators I see
  9. Hibs 2 v County 2
  10. Sad news, down to earth girl with one of the great voices...
  11. Disappointing to hear about Jewel in the Crown. Was always one of the better ones.Last time we were in,(after recommendations about 3 years ago),we all thought it was great.Shame if its going downhill Staying on Crown St,is that Shanghai restaurant actually open for business? Maybe need to look at their image consultant if it is Will hae a run out to Echt Tandoori and report back, driven past too many times
  12. Good points above. Ignoring the corruption in Euro fitba competition for now it's a welcome change of scene from Dumbarton in the league cup.We could have set ourselves up a bit financially, if we'd taken our chances the last few years. On the whole, enjoyed all the euro games of recent years
  13. I was just going to mention Jim Hermiston.Mind me and my pal asking for a kick about with him as he sunned himself at his caravan in Moray in the 70s.Think he was late 20s when he became a bobby, and moved to Oz.Someone else become a bobby. Thomson? canna mind Malcolm Kpedekpo went into private equity
  14. Like i said,it winna happen, but if Anderson offered more against Rangers than our other strikers, its a no brainer to start him v 'Dee.I partnered him with McGinn because of his experience,(and because I think he's a better striker than our strikers) Harringtons a bigger risk, but bigger than Ball at R/B? am nae so sure, and this is one of the few type of games we can use to find out. All better done if the rest of the line up was more settled, but go for it,its a newish line up,and this is the time of season to try things out
  15. Just checkin' ....though that was as much about 2 square pegs in 2 round holes,....and Nwakali being a complete zoomer. Go for it Deek,a gamble now and again would do you good .
  16. If we were shite against Rangers, whats crazy about mixing it up? When do we ever mix it up,to know if its the wrong thing to do?
  17. Meant to be up Ullapool way,but if the forecast remains the same,a trip to Dens instead. 4-4-2 for me.W This line up winna happen but... Lewis Harrington Devlin Consi Shinnie GMS Ferguson Forrester Wright Anderson McGinn Hoban to L/b* if fit > Shinnie instead of Forrester *assuming he can play L/b? 4 - 1 Dons.
  18. Nah,think most folk assume Mither tap is the summit. The Oxen Craig route mentioned is quieter and far easier walking. Rocket - That sounds ace.Knew about the river Tummel for rafting, but didnt realise the Findhorn was an option https://www.adrenaline-hunter.com/en-GB/activity/uk/auchnagairn/rafting/white-water-rafting-on-river-findhorn-near-inverness/7095?_cid=110&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIut3CuPHd3AIVxbTtCh2txgbyEAAYASAAEgKHHfD_BwE While i'm at it,always fancied rafting down the Dee from Braemar to Aberdeen.Away for a search EDIT - nah,nae full trips down the Dee,but a few untried options in here https://www.activeoutdoorpursuits.com/category/activities/watersports/
  19. Failing that,I would take a punt with Harrington at R/B.If he's good enough for the bench etc,and before Ball loses the confidence he built up
  20. Thought Sevco were better than us,but dont see them as an improvement on last season. We were powder puff.Hoping it was a typical meek display v Sevco, and not a sign of whats ahead on a regular basis.Dont think I could stomach a whole season of high balls up to Cosgrove, and therefore hopeful Anderson might have done enough to be played more often and with a more creative style of football. Defence looks like it could be an upgrade this year, and hopeful if Deek sees improvement there, along with an addition or 2, he might loosen the shackles a bit more attacking wise.
  21. Dont !!....
  22. Deary me min,at that moment it was just a bit of banter between the fans. Its like you're saying 'other people have a different view to me,..I'm not playing' Lighten up a bit
  23. Other reasons to factor in are golf just being in a cycle.Hillwalking(my pastime) 20/30 years ago had lots of teens/twenty somethings on the hills,10 years ago we were asking where the heck are they all? Back to crawling with the blighters these days. Add in smaller families, and replacement incomers not being too Golf orientated
  24. Agree re Portlethen,a tidy but drab course.Try Stoney after 5pm thru the week = £15 a round. Auchenblae's a pleasant amble if you cant be arsed with a full round(a wee bit rawch, but nice spot). Anyone up on the Moray coast that hasnt got time for a full round may not be aware of a tidy wee 9 holer called Covesea, between Lossie and Hopeman, right on the coast
  25. Decent ratio that.We should have a whip round for lancy to get you a ticket. Wee cycle down the road for you
