Tommy MacQueen era-esque,which was around the last time I bought a football top,but a very smart effort....
-
Canna believe our final points tally given the ratio of mediocre performances this season. To be fair to Derek,I think we have to consider that there doesnt seem to be a large pool of players out there of the standard that we want to attract, let alone being available at the right time which might partially explain the imbalance of the positions he filled?Look at some of the names being bandied about.....Ali Crawford,Michael O'Halloran etc.Decent but nae exactly inspiring(though we would have been jizzing ourselves at the prospect a couple of years ago). If we can find the right midfield pairing initially, and work out from there,we wont go far wrong.Who that pairing is I have no idea....
-
I'll hae the butteries* *as long as theyre nae JG Ross'
-
Gloryhunting aside ...should there not be a play off final between Tyrant and myself,.....or at least a consolation buttery for our efforts..
-
Easy. Bring on Johnny foreigner. COYR

Thought I'd seen it all as the 4th went in at Hampden '82.We'd just won the 'treble' in my lifetime ie the LC in '76,and the League in '80 and stuffing Rangers 4 - 1 for the Scottish cup.Unthinkable at that time with the stranglehold the OF had on fitba back then. Little did we know.....
-
Its frantic but were on top.4 of theirs on a yellow,be surprised if they dont get a red.A bit more composure and we could stuff 'em. COYR

GMS starts.McGinn out,maybe nae a bad thing,Christie back in

Was some Chinese group last i heard.Though I never allow my hopes to rise with this lot. Plenty of wealthy fellow crooks out there might be willing to take a punt -
Thats a hard read that min I'll have another go after a cup o tea....
-
Dont know much about him,but described as 'similar' in style to Kenny MacLean. Ready made scapegoat for DD
-
An absorbing game without being high on quality, but there was good intensity about us,sometimes missing this season. We missed MacLeans composure in there though, and a draw was probably a fair result. Cosgroves a useful addition,as long as we dont assume the option of using the long ball at the expense of creativity.Didnt see much of an understanding between him and May,but maybe early days. A bit of the fight we showed today might have a better than previous result on tuesday
-
Does seem a bit late in the day for the club to pull the plug, but there has been a bit of history between the display group and the club.Just sayin'.... Looking like around 18,000 for this, should be a good enough atmosphere anyway

He wasnt great, but somehow managed to get his own song.It was either him or Toni Kombuoare

I thought Gerrard had already ruled himself out along the lines of 'not ready for a club like Rangers',? Tbh if he was interested,he could be the sort of appointment that provides them the catalyst we dont want them to receive.doubt he will take it though -
Keep it going Sea Bass, and well done for the effort to get to the games. wish i knew more about your condition to be able to help, but maybe an online forum for fellow sufferers might help like this one (or others), https://community.scope.org.uk/discussion/27200/hemiplegia

31091991_1637419483032570_333026545746575360_n by [/url], on Flickr Following Jezzas lavish praise,a good time to post up the latest wanderings. Beinn Alligin(a ridge containing 2 munros, Sgurr Mohr 3234ft,Tom na Gruagaich 3024ft,and the horns of Alligin) What a cracking day we had here at the W/E. Havnt seen views like we did on these hills. We did the whole circuit which includes the horns, but its possible to do the 2 munros without doing the tricky horn section as explained below Parked at the National trust car park about 3 km West of the village of Torridon, and followed the path up on the rhs of the river(Abhainn Coire Mhic Nobuill),which is next to the car park IMG_4170 by , on Flickr Most people do it Clockwise, but we did it anti-clockwise.Followed the path up crossing the 2 bridges you come to en route, and headed sharply up the ridge for about 20 mins before it eased off for a bit The first horn to the right, with the first munro,Sgurr Mor to the left IMG_4189 by , on Flickr The first horn was the trickiest, requiring a wee bit of scrambling,ie using all fours, and a couple of bum slides on descent. Looking back at the first horn descent.Looks worse that it was in reality, paths weave in and round the slabby sections IMG_4212 by , on Flickr On the 3rd horn, looking over to the 2 munros IMG_4227 by , on Flickr Best not to be done in snow, but the path zig zags up the inside of the rhs edge IMG_4247 by , on Flickr Once youve done that part, the trickiest bits are out the way.Sgurr Mor offers 360o of outstanding views The route ahead from Sgurr Mor over to Tom na Gruagaich IMG_4317 by , on Flickr Ptarmigan en route IMG_4345 (2) by , on Flickr Just after the summit of Tom na Gruagaich, theres a cairn(left-mid photo) to mark the descent back to the car park.We managed to miss it and find an awkward clamber over rocks and scree instead IMG_4365 by , on Flickr Mistakes aside this is a superb mountain, voted in the top 10 of Scottish Munros. The tricky horns section can be avoided without missing much of the views,by ascending Tom na Gruagaich first,(follow lhs of river) and onto Sgurr Mor,and return the same way Sgurr mor and the 3 horns on the way down IMG_4393 (2) by , on Flickr

-
I had a couple from Sinclairs of Rhynie the other day, also shite.Hard and bland The hame bakery in Peterhead was voted best buttery recently
-
Could be a cracker.Kenny will be a big miss, but the tombola rarely lets us down . Hibs on a good run,I'll go for a draw 2 - 2
-
*Words marked - ...though aye,it would be nice to see Hibs sneak the title ...Until then, into these anti-fitba huns. COYR
