  1. Goooaalll Kenny
  2. Christie and Arnason back in
  3. The Bus Stop?
  4. Totally agree, and with Christie in there too, been years since we had such a potentially dynamite forward line. Jury seems to be out on Ball. Are we judging him after a game and a half?.Should allow for him maybe trying too hard,or being off the pace.A run of games might do him good.If it means getting Shinnie at L/B,and not having to watch O'Connor in there, surely outweighs the negatives? Come away ye Reds
  5. Also thought Ball was decent on Saturday.Would like him to start alongside Maclean, with Shinnie at L/B.Rooney worked hard on Saturday but to little effect.Stewart provide a bit more guile in his place? 1 - 0 Dons - GMS
  6. ^^^No need to wet the bed yet,its only a rumour. Hope we can squeeze in a decent midfielder before the window closes
  7. Not totally sold on the idea, but kinda glad a line's been drawn under it all(for now at least). Got our work cut out to make it a success, but lets hud g'an...
  8. Know the face well, without knowing him personally.Still fairly young, sad news
  9. Not my usual listen, best new latino award winners recently,Monsieur Perine
  10. Sorry for link but nice one Joe https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/aberdeen-keeper-joe-lewis-downs-11927736
  11. Dodgy clip of McKenna's goal
  12. Great result that. Had to leave early second half though, and managed to miss the last two goals 8) Thought we chipped away first half, and thought a goal might be coming, until Killie stuck one in.We were mince the rest of the first half. Couldnt see the eventual outcome coming though, but we were certainly fired in the second half.Well done Scott McKenna, and Niall McGinn Some random thoughts of what I saw of the game.Havnt seen much of Ball, but without being brilliant,he looks like he may have something about him? Beginning to think it might be easier for us to source a new midfield combo, and stick Shinnie at left back.Thought he looked limited in midfield today.Kenny MacLean played very well.Couldnt get Adam into the game again, and thinking a combo of GMS,Niall,Ryan, and Stevie May would make us more versatile in attack Still think we need to practice,or work harder at looking for space and making ourselves available for the next pass for games like today.Good bounce back after Wednesday though
  13. reFIFY ...
  14. Thats the thing though,he WAS giving Celtic a game as recently as 2 years ago(2 home wins v the Tims). So whats happened since then? Its easy to only blame McInnes. Have we underestimated the effect Robson/Flood had on the rest of the team? If we have, who's out there that could do their job? Cant see too many inpsiring targets myself. Are Celtic and Rangers pushing on quicker than our budget allows us to catch up? Weve had a high turnaround in players to deal with, which has to be a factor in the uncontinuity of selection. That side leading up to the cup final last year, banging in 6 and 7 goals, and a baw hair from lifting the cup!! If we'd managed to keep and augment it,who knows where we'd be. Where I do agree about McInnes is you would have been looking at him to grow as a manager quicker than he appears to have done. He's been slow to address problems,eg the continued recent lack of hunger in the games v the OF among other things
  15. Some cheasy listening,...and easy watching at times
  16. In for this too. Despite the Hun horror show,at least we're a watchable side 3 - 1 Dons GMS,McGinn,McKenna
  17. Nips min, take the day off and come back when youve chilled out deck_chair_images_2211_1128_861[1] by , on Flickr
  18. If Arnason and McGinn werent 100% fit, then the team selection probably wasnt far from the best we could manage. But to not manage to lay a glove on them, again, is shite. For so many players to not be at the races in one game is a poor show. Either we dont have enough players with bottle,or McInnes isnt giving them enough reason/tactics to believe they can beat the OF. Even if the OF players are better overall,we must be able to get more out of what weve got in these games,eg see the difference Levein has made in a short space. Not advocating his style of football, but it shows how quickly a mindset can be changed.Maybe Deek just doesnt understand enough about the mental side of the game Not advocating McInnes out, just waiting/hoping for him to reach a point where he says, enough of this shite, lets try this,ie something more innovative,or risky
  19. Ken,thought i'd exaggerate it a bit . Meanwhile, how do we win this with what weve got??...
  20. Not happy with it,just cant be arsed with your "told you we should have spent £5m on unknown Europeans" at this time
  21. Agreed, away to your bed min
  22. Logan posted missing for the goal. Better up our game second half for a change
  23. Try this http://www.vipleague.is/football/543554/4/rangers-vs-aberdeen-live-stream-online.html
  24. O'Connor? (reaches for wine bottle). Tbf,I think his few better games have been in defence. We'll see
  25. Strange one.Hamilton saying theyve agreed terms with Preston(fee around £80k),but Preston tweeted that "there is no agreement in place for Michael Devlin" Dons have tabled a smaller bid for Devlin according to the Sun
