  1. Not quite politics, but thought some of you might like a listen
  2. I know, but my fuzzy memory thought they pinched him from under our noses.maybe nae.
  3. Have to admit,I thought Darren Mackie had something about him when I first saw him away at 'Well.Think he 'could' have been a good player, but his ego got the better of him IMO,Thats what annoyed me most about him Only player Ive come close to booing.... Actually, another is Kevin Rutkiewcz.Saw him upfront in a 4-0 win v Hibs at home, think he scored a goal. Also thought he had potential.Canna mind why he didnt get an extended run upfront(probable shiteyness?),but some of his performances at L/B were up there with the worst Ive seen.
  4. dare I say,Ian Fergushun we almost lost Eoin Jess to the hun, though not sure he was on our books before joining

  6. I was reading some of the comments from locals, and thinking,eh? what the heck are you talking about?.Want to think maybe living 37 years under a fud like Mugabe does that to you,but who knows.... Their celebrations could be a bit premature with the possible 'appointment' of Emmerson Mnangagwa.Even more brutal than Mugabe
  7. Buachaille Etive Beag 958m(brother of the more famous Buachaille Etive Mhor) A fairly easy Munro in prime mountain country(Glencoe).Parked at a parking space on the main Glencoe road(A82) just beyond the start of the Lairig Eilde which goes through a pass to Glen Etive. Set off from Portlethen at 3am to catch the sunrise, and hung about on the other summit to catch the sunset. Caught neither IMG_2887 by [/url], on Flickr IMG_2886 by , on Flickr Good paths all the way up to the ridge IMG_2882 by , on Flickr IMG_2881 by , on Flickr Onto the ridge at the first cairn looking towards the summit.Snavvy kine' IMG_2837 by , on Flickr The summit from the above photo looks a bit intimidating, but on closer inspection, there is often more width than expected IMG_2856 by , on Flickr Great views from the summit down loch Etive and the surrounding hills.Took about 3hrs up and down at a good pace Sgurr Domnhuill(Beinn a Beithir) 1001m Had time to add this one on after a lunch break. If youve ever headed down from Fort William to Ballachulish and noticed a fine looking mountain in front of you as you turn round the road into Ballachulish. This is that mountain.Parked at the Chaolais car park beside the Ballachulish golf course on the Oban road. There are markers at the start to guide you to the right hill IMG_2913 by , on Flickr IMG_2918 by , on Flickr Path heads uphill quite sharply and becomes less distinct further up,and if you lose it,you only have to aim for the lowest point(bealach) to keep on the right track. Scree slope on the way to the bealach, avoidable by ascending the grassy strips either side IMG_2926 by , on Flickr ....before turning left towards the summit IMG_2928 by , on Flickr A bit stony as you approach the summit, but great views down loch Linnhe and Glencoe once you reach the summit(assuming its clear.....which it wasnt very) IMG_2959 by , on Flickr
  8. Canna mind that, but remember Keith at Pittodrie over 10 years ago v the Oldco Uncomfortable tie for us v the Midden...
  9. Agree with you about Digby Jones.Didnt know much about Connolly. Some call him a bit pessimistic but he has a decent CV below "The publication of “The Rotten Heart of Europe” led the Wall Street Journal Europe to name Bernard as one of its outstanding Europeans of the year in 1995 and in March 2001 he received the Frøde Jakobsen prize, awarded in Denmark for outstanding moral courage in public affairs. Bank of England Governor Mark Carney has identified Bernard as one of the very few economists who predicted the current global economic and financial crisis." He wrote his book, critical about the EU,while working there and lost his job as a result
  10. Right, good time to not talk football. I was neutral on Brexit at the time of the referendum.Saw the benefits of both arguments but couldnt be swung enough one way or the other,so didnt vote. Am having a look at the no deal argument.Be interested in folks opinions on these guys opinions if you can be arsed https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hBezWPpAdYM

Handsome loon,6' 4",I'll pass on your daughters number Would also like to see Tansey in for this one.Unlike others,I thought he whipped in a few wicked balls in last time I seen him,v Dundee I think. Tricky game, will miss Shinnie's drive.I'll go for a hopeful 2 - 1 win. May,GMS

We also went to see murder on the Orient express last night.Thought it and the storyline was a bit meh with Kenneth Branagh unconvincing as Poirot. 5/10 about right. Darkest hour looks like a winner as said

  20. An unusual but good read. One of my favourite players as a loon, hard to believe he was almost on the scrapheap at Stenhousemuir Couple of moustachios wouldnt go amiss in todays lineup
  21. Losing McInnes COULD be a disaster,eg when you see some of the names mentioned for his replacement,Yogi,Wright etc.Personally,am enjoying where we're at for the time being because of the previous years of shite. I think he's weak tactically, and there are other things about him that do my head in,ie game management, but he offsets that with his record here since he came, the type of player he's able to attract, the atmosphere/professionalism he's brought to the dressing room, city. And I do think he's improving as a manager......slowly
  22. It is now. Shite I hate games at Accies
  23. Arnason goaaalllllll
  24. Sounds end to end. Cmon Dons...
  25. Against the run of play, but take it.....
