Cul Beag,Assynt 769m Any hill in this or the Torridon area gives great rewards if the weather is good.Only problem is some of them have a fairly long walk in.to avoid this most folk opt for Stac pollaidh,which is at the roadside.Down side to Stac,is that just before the summit,there is a tricky,exposed section which stops a lot of people carrying on to the summit,thereby blocking views out West Cul beag is a fine alternative,situated just before Stac pollaidh on the road round to Achiltibuie,and as good a viewpoint.The tourist route up is from the roadside,following a path(shown on OS map) along the base of the western side of Cul Beag,before a seperate path turns off and starts a very steep ascent to the summit. I would go with similar to Ricos team.Do we play Stockley or Maynard because were 'supposed' to play a recognised striker?.I thought both were like a square peg in a round hole last week.If McInnes has seen a major improvement in Maynard since last week,then play him,otherwise he's too big a risk. And a combo of Maclean,Christie,GMS and Stewart in the mid/forward areas i think would create more opportunities by not having the hopeful lob to Stockley option.Intelligent,quick thinking guys...

Looking a bit cooler for this one,ie upper 20's I'd be tempted to drop the 'recognised' strikers(probably why Im no manager),maybe bring in Tansey,move Maclean further up and give the others free reign attacking wise.It could be argued GMS,Christie,Stewart etc have as much if not more striker instinct then our actual strikers.Certainly think they'd be more on the same wavelength as far as developing attacks?

Just back - They were good at times,but not as good as I thought theyd be.Tidy going forward,but goal aside they didnt create too much,and when they did,it was often a result of bad decisions from us. There were some good signs from us in the forward areas,some spells of clever play,and some untidy/dodgy moments in defence and midfield,hopefully improve in all areas as we go.Despite Maynards performance,I think we can get more from him,maybe he was trying too hard? Saying that,I wouldnt be averse to dropping all the recognised strikers and bring in Wright to the line up instead.We were more dangerous when we we're moving the ball about quickly,on the deck Agree with Ladettes comment about the atmosphere,for what was at stake,we could have cranked it up(myself included) more in the quieter spells.
