  1. Campbell didnt get enough of the ball to judge.MacLennan was out of sorts, whether it was Hearts physicality or just not up enough for it generally.Need him in the mood on Boxing day
  2. Just back - Always nice to beat that shower, and we did so without being on top form.Game started off like a typical Hearts game, ....physical with the ball up in the air more often than not,so it was a bit of a relief when Sam opened the scoring with a very well placed header and they were forced to try and play fitba. To be fair they knocked the ball about quite well but carried little goal threat.Us on the other hand,I think we could have added to our tally if we'd moved the ball quickly on the deck more up front when they seemed to be winning the aerial battle. Mcginn,McKenna,Logan and Cosgrove all good.McLennan seems to have a good game then a bad game,so hope he turns it on v Celtic, cos he was poor today. Good win though, COYR
  3. Memories for me are the noise walking down Merkland before the game, and afterwards, the residents on Merkland rd ie students,Poles etc outside their flats applauding us up the street
  4. Great night. Pity so many of the youtube clips are not the best quality
  5. Young loon showing J Holland how its done
  6. Should be a good one.Hope we try and rattle them from the start,be fun to see them crumble In or Oot - In Furryboots - Over to the Y for this one Pre - Working Post - Driving Prediction - 3 - 1 McGinn x2,Cosgrove
  7. Handsome win.We played very well, though I think there's room to also play up a notch. Never been a fan of Sams inclusion in the line up,mainly because we more often than not, resort to lumping long balls up to him,but we moved the ball about well, and played a lot of balls to him facing goal and looked more dangerous. He actually looks pretty useful with the ball at his feet attacking wise. Was desperate for May to get on the sheet, and he played well, but thought he backed off a bit on a couple of occasions, one time when thru on the keeper.Injury fear maybe. McLennan IMO seems to give us a more consistent contribution during a game as opposed to GMS irregular spectacular moments. A good win,at a good time of season. COYR
  8. Wind and rain easing off by KO time.Should be plenty spaces higher up the stands for dry seats.
  9. I think thats the value of their potential contracts SB
  10. Forecast a bit crap leading upto the game, but easing off just before K/O.Dundee on their day can be a bit of a banana skin, need to get at them from the off with a Livi second half type approach In or Oot - In Furryboots - Mainer Pre/Post - Driving Prediction - 3 - 1 Dons. May x3 That penalty at last opening the floodgates....
  11. MacLennan had a poor game by recent standards, but not sure anyone else was much better.Hoping conditions were the main factor and he/we can up our games on tuesday. Be good if GMSs aspirin starts taking effect,...a good time of year to kick on a bit.
  12. Also admire Hamilton,so its Kilmarnock for me.Only top flight ground Ive never been to,and not in a hurry to either, despite our good recent record re St M, same team, same intensity should see us get the points. 1 - 3 MacLennan hat trick
  13. May the Viennese waltz past and slice open the Hun defence. COYRV
  14. Giving us the GIRUY in the main stand after Livvys 2nd goal
  15. Cosgrove and May,take a lot of stick, but were very good tonight.Need a longer run together.McGinn good too, just have to accept enigmatic type players like him and GMS for the magic they can pull out the bag. MacLennan was excellent, but not sure how much that was down to their L/B being mince.Wont do his confidence any harm though. An unlikely but welcome win.Haste ye back Devlin and COYR ps GIRUY the wee Livvy sub at the Merkland end in the first half.Hun..probably
  16. Cheers,....they dinna. Didna have time for food before the game, and nae cash, hence query. Emaciated, but happy
  17. In - hud mi back Anyone know if the pie shop(Mainer) takes card payment.
  18. Had high hopes today for a bit of a post Ibrox bounce, and the inclusion of Wright and MacLennan. What a let down. Up front was a disappointment, but lack of midfield creativity the main problem. Haste ye back GMS,and we must be due a good trasnfer window....
  19. Interested to know what we'd pay him.Am in the 'he's arite' category.Would like to see what some of our home grown loons can do before we commit to anything
  20. Robert Cray's still got it....
  21. Also like the look of that line up.Been curious to see McGinn in that role for a while, and could revitalise his AFC career.Think the knives are out already for him as a winger unfortunately. If they click, could be a few goals 3 - 0 Dons Mcginn x2,MacLennan
  22. Rico's nailed it.I would say the posh bit of "P",but I dont think there is one.Should really be Grampiandon these days You'll maybe recognise the Barmekin summit GG.This little temptress was waiting for me a couple of weeks ago Havnt been round too many of the local woodland walks, but theres more at Maryculter,Durris and Dunnottar woods Kowalski - Forgot about this beauty, the Kintail way http://www.affrickintailway.com/ Done some sections of it,prime Mountain country in there, with some bothies along the way. Its a bit more fun plotting your own route if you know where the bothies are https://www.mountainbothies.org.uk/ Others not done - Cowal way,Kintyre way,Dava way,East highland way,East coast to West coast(Aberdeen to Knoydart)
  23. BHH
  24. Yassss min, that was a ling injury time. Good results elsewhere
  25. Nae giving up on the boy yet.Maybe he's got the idea but needs to pass the batton on to someone who can manage it Heres someones explanation of how it works, though I think in barren places you need feed initially as per vid below - Summary of the method for those confused by the video, it "mimics nature" like the million animal herds of the Serengeti but with livestock. Because of the amount of manure & trampling in such big herds, the animals keep moving. This system moves the animals daily, but keeps them in as small an area as possible while giving enough food for the day. That means as much manure as possible & as much liquid as possible in the form of livestock urine. After one day's grazing, the fertiliser is allowed to do it's thing & stimulate plant growth. The animals only return to that ground once the plants are fully grown & therefore at maximum nutritional value - imagine eating wheatgrass v fully grown wheat plants, complete with wheat grain. Most farms let the animals graze at will, creating a wheatgrass situation, this system allows the plants to grow beyond baby stage & produce heavy duty food! (and root length matches plant height, which means an end to erosion & water run off too). On ground with NOTHING growing, they lock the animals onto that ground each night, as tightly backed as possible for a week or so, then move them out to better land for food each morning. The nightly urine & manure means a thick slurry of microbial life, breaking of the surface crust & lots of moisture to stimulate any seeds in the ground & manure into germinating. That new grass is allowed to fully mature before the animals return to eat it & refertiliser?
