As I found out not long after moving from Edinburgh to Aberdeen and went to the local shop and asked for a dozen rolls (meaning baps) and got home to find a dozen Rowies in the bag.
I put united down as well not because of anything United has done for away fans but because it was always the best match day atmosphere because we always had a big crowd down.
He was due a goal. He could have had a couple in the last few weeks but his confidence was so low, hopefully he will now gain some confidence and become a regular on the score sheet.
Think the draw is on Tuesday.
yes a great win for many reasons.
We are in the next round of the cup, we keep our momentum going and this result will go a long way to building on our confidence that has been steadily growing over the last few weeks.
Well done lads.
Went for Tyncastle, Have a lot of Hearts supporting friends in Edinburgh so when I lived in Scotland I would make a weekend of the away trip to Tynecastle. The night out was even better if we won.
Ok lets say they are better, I do nto agree but lets just say.
Can we get a better keeper than Langfield on our budget as well as the fullbacks we need.
I don't think so.
I was impressed by the interviews on red tv. Knox and Brown spoke with confidence and while admitting there was major work to be done spoke of their confidence in getting the team going and building confidence within the squad.
Brown also spoke about working under pressure and how he had coped before while with Scotland. I can see light at the end of the tunnel.
Mark Howard.
I don't know if you are fishing but when you look at the quality of goalkeepers in the SPL outwith the old firm Langfield is not that bad.
Yes he makes some mistakes but then makes some great saves. There are no Andy Goram's or Jim Leighton's out there any more.
As someone said Langfield got into the Scotland set up ok just cause of injuries to other keepers, but he got there ahead of other SPL keepers.
I don't but even Just listening to red tv I could tell Langfield's form dropped when Jimbo left.
Even in the first couple of games after Meldrum Joined Langfield made some major howlers.
