I was never expecting to win today. Tynecastle is a very tough place to go when you are on a good run of form nevermind on our form. I did not expect 5-0 though. That said Brown will get us picking up points against the likes of Hamilton and St Mirren etc, the teams we should be beating. Thus gaining confidence within the team and with a few new players we can then build on from that next season. The new management team just arrived yesterday, you did not really think there was going to be a remarkable change in performance in 24 hours. Mcghee really fucked up this squad, the lack of full backs can be blamed again for the terrible start today. Hopefully we can get that sorted in January.

I am happy with the appointment. Welcome aboard and welcome home Archie Knox. Brown has the experience as someone else said to build a foundation. A few People were mentioning Paul Hartley on here, he is not ready yet but if he is Mentored by Brown and Knox for a year or two then he could be the man in the future.

Plenty of Experience. I am sure he has lots of contacts around the world from his time with Scotland. I think a good appointment to steady the ship and move us on to the next level and hopefully groom a younger man to take over in the future.

I would not take him back, We don't need versatile players who can naturally play full back. Lets use the money to get another striker, since the 7 we have at the club only managed 1 goal in November.

I wonder if it was something said in the meeting with the bank, maybe they said you need to get attendances up to bring in more money and if their is a good chance of relegation there is no way we can delay payment of the loan, and they have thought things are not getting any better we have to do something now.
