God putting a very positive spin on the game on beeb at the moment, but from what I saw I thought we were eye-bleedingly blunt in attack and devoid of any kind of invention throughout the game - we salvaged a point more by attrition than anything else. The sheer fact that Morris made such a seismic impact was an indication of how ponderous we had been up to that point. Needs to be much, much better if we make it into the right half post-split, or we are going to get ripped to shreds by the likes of a resurgent Hibs.

Did we ever replace our attacking coach that left in Juanuary for family reasons? We seem to have forgotten how to attack since then.

Remiss of me not to update this: Turns out our bubble did burst, but win our 29th game tomorrow and despite our horrendous form, 13 wins/44pts will be above our average at the 30 game mark for all 38-game seasons (12.4 wins/43.8 points) Jimmy Thelin goes into tomorrow's game already in possesion of something that eluded Jim Goodwin his entire illustrious Aberdeen career - a 12th Aberdeen league win. He must be gutted. We still haven't won in Europe again.

Wasn't at the game but from watching the stream that was my impression too - we played like a team that just wanted to get rid of a dismal record, and Dundee played like, well, Dundee. Scrappy, no fluidity and lots of loose play, and a large chunk of the first half was closer to volleyball than football. Hopefully now that the monkey is off our back we can build confidence and start exerting some control in games.
