Salah ripping Sevco a new one, and he's only been on the pitch about ten minutes. Took him 6min 12sec to score a hat-trick. Enough time left for him to get another 4.
Well, the next old firm derby is 2nd Jan, so I'd imagine that's their deadline for getting it right. Expect all controversial VAR decisions in the matches preceding this to be dismissed as "teething problems".
Presumably they didn't let him out of Kilmarnock to do the commentary. I'm impressed that he can be simultaneously monotone and delusional - "an even game", "one touch passing from Kilmarnock", and just after our 4th goal "a setback for Kilmarnock"
Is this not the wrong way round to use VAR though? The onus is surely on the ref to spot a clear foul to justify a decision of that magnitude - if a VAR replay then shows it is as inconclusive as you (quite rightly) point out, that should be reason enough to overturn the onfield decision.
Fun fact of the day - SFA have made 4 decisions since the start of this season:
Rangers red card rescinded
2 Ross County players restrospectively banned with Rangers as their next opponents
1 Aberdeen player retrospectively banned with Rangers as their next opponents
