  1. Almost half of our first team out, I fear the worst. Here's hoping a water-walking GMS scores 1 more than they do and we win 6-5.
  2. according to the radio Lewis Ball Reynolds Arnie Consi Shinnie OConnor Stewart Maclean GMS Rooney no May, Mckenna, Logan due to injury, no Christie due to gamesmanship
  3. McInnes on radio now saying both McKenna and Logan are out injured, hence Reynolds and Ball. Hardly his fault. However, I think it does make a win vastly more difficult.
  4. Makes it all the sweeter if we bust his "target" today at the first hurdle.
  5. You were workin' as a winger with a Korean ba' When we last saw you We'll pick you out, shake you up and turn you around Turn you into someone new As one year later on your club's seen 20 defeats Success has nae been easy for you But don't forget, it's us who got you where you are now And we can get your career back too Don't, Gwangju want you? You know I can't believe it when I hear that they won't play you Don't, Gwangju want you? You know I don't believe it when you say that they don't need you It's nae too late to find You think you've changed your mind You'd better speak tae Deek or we will both be sorry Dons still want you, baby etc I'll get ma coat

    Cullen skink, always a winner
  7. I'd agree with you on the other thread that I wish it had been the Dons to burst their bubble, but I'll settle for us providing the third humiliation in an inexorable downward spiral for them
  8. Ah i see Had to go on thon Faceache thingy to get this address, I feel affa dirty now.
  9. Apologies if I've missed the thread for this, or it should be OT, but fit happened to the forum?
  10. Thank fuck. I never want to hear the word "invincibles" uttered ever again.
  11. Thanks for illustrating why it's pointless taking any of your numerous inane paranoid ramblings seriously. That sounds a pretty fair assessment Rico.
  12. Not convinced Shaughnessy is that great tbh, he just seems to have halted the gradual stagnation of his career and settled on being a middling SPL defender. We were pretty stingy on giving him game time, but he must have had enough chances in training and loans to shine. After all, McKenna has come through with much the same exposure.
  13. Equally, I'm sure some rocket will pop up to claim that gulfs in spending power are meaningless and they just didn't want it enough.
  14. Deek not exactly sounding like a man trying to put himself in the shop window at the Well presser: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/42014693
  15. I think you can safely miss out the word "presumably"
  16. Maybe the whole of the last two years was a tactical defeat so they can concentrate on winning league 2.
  17. Sevco admit to having not actually spoken to anyone, and are still waiting for someone who actually wants the job to contact them. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/41949360
  18. Thought he was due to be "unveiled" yesterday? Did I miss it?
  19. w/e 05/11/17: Bruce Anderson (CF) @ Elgin City (L2): 6th start in 6 games and played the full 90, had a couple attempts but no goals as Elgin were beaten 2-0 by Rory McAllister. Connor McLennan (CF) @ Brechin City (CH): First game without a start, came on as a sub after an hour, but couldn't prevent Brechin being beaten 1-0 by Dumbarton.
  20. I would not get as emotive as "great", but you are perhaps being a touch presumptuous to assume nobody but you looks beyond the start of the 21st century. A comparison of last season under Mcinnes against the club's all-time history can be found in the records thread. http://www.donstalk.co.uk/index.php/topic,19320.0.html
  21. That the same McLaughlin that assured everyone Sevco were going to make a move for McInnes last Monday?
  22. Some fresh lines from McInnes to read between. Also, confirmed there has been no contact from Sevco to club or manager. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/41852170 Doesn't exactly sound like a man desperate to move on, to me.
  23. Quick summary of last weekend (w/e 28/10/17): Bruce Anderson (CF) @ Elgin City (L2): Grabbed his 4th goal in 5 games in a 4-2 win over Clyde - left footed shot from the centre of the box to the bottom left corner. Match also featured a certain David Goodwillie, who Bruce allegedly waved to as their careers went past in opposite directions. Connor McLennan (CF) @ Brechin City (CH): 7th start in 7 games for Connor but still no goals, and Brechin still without a win - they were beaten 3-2 by Livingston. Picked up a yellow at the end of the 1st half for an agricultural challenge.
  24. An add-on to this thread: According to the Evening Express (they sort of skip past the fact that 2017 hasn't finished yet) https://www.eveningexpress.co.uk/fp/aberdeen-fc/donsnews/this-year-up-with-the-very-bestaberdeens-victory-tally-puts-them-closer-to-1983-legends/
  25. Just noticed this is in OT, I assumed "cheeks burnt after firing rocket" was about Pedro's compensation claim
