  1. Nae worries and cheers for resurrecting this thread, i must admit i've been a lazy-airsed bastard for the last wee while with updating it though I can't see us keeping anyone other than Rogers or Harvie, both of whom have been the relative standouts in their respective loans. Storie, McKenna and Smith have all had their chances at SPL level, while Shankland is nae really looking up to even Championship level. Lennox has been injured since the start of the year so difficult to say with him. Dylan Thomas sadly proved to be less than poetic in L2 and has already been released by the club along with Nuttall and Robbie Mutch.
  2. Hell yeah, i'd rather be right because we won than right because we lost. This sense of euphoria may not make it past Friday though. 85 83 82 81 - MBT 80 79 - Oxford Don 78 77 - Tyrant 76 75 74 - Nellie The Don 73 - BigAl 72 - Edinburghdon 71 - (2nd Place Assured) 70 69 68 - Thomsod 67 - Jute 66 - Manc 65 - rocket 64 63 - Tom_Widdows 62 61
  3. Robson came from League 1 Sheffield Utd in 2013, and Hartley came from mid-Championship Bristol City in 2010, neither were likely to to have been on a high wage or taken a substantial pay cut. However, BBC giving some mileage to the Maloney story now, so maybe we are splashing the cash (or trying our luck ) http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/39856370
  4. The average weekly salary for Hull players in Nov 2016 was £23k. Somehow i don't think he'd come up here to play for 3 grand.
  5. Or 20p per Scott Brown "friendly warning".
  6. I'm disappointed with my choice now, as victory for me here would likely come at the price of Tic remaining unbeaten and another Sevco pitch invasion to celebrate a miraculous last-minute draw. So instead i'll throw caution to the wind and switch to a bravado-fueled 79 Or is that gloryhunting?
  7. Interesting to watch the reactions of the players in that - Logan in particular looks like he's fair enjoying himself here.
  8. Here's hoping today's result takes the pressure off the last 3 games and we revert back to the default attacking style that got us 2nd place for the 3rd time in the 1st place, so tae speak.
  9. 2nd place confirmed. That'll do pig, that'll do.
  10. supersub time. Stockley on for Rooney.
  11. Have an infinite number of Simmies.
  12. Tic complaining its not an equal 50/50 split and claiming that they are getting less tickets than us - now i've seen everything http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/39829048
  13. Can't say i've often gone much further into Bicester than the Outlet Village bit, but i ken folk living there that'll be more clued up than me, i'll ask. Seem to mind it's a fair bit cheaper than Oxford too, even though it's only about 10 miles away up the A34. edit - although talking of the outlet village i would imagine anything around that immediate vicinity would be top of the list to avoid. It seems to have turned into some kind of weird and tacky tourist attraction and was absolutely rammed the last time i ventured there, traffic must be a nightmare for anyone living nearby.
  14. I've just seen the BBC story on that - 6 Tic players, 4 Dons and 1 Partick player, mintal. McInnes is in the shortlist for MotY as well, and Hayes is on the PotY one. I wonder how Sevco fans are adjusting to the concept of watching the same two teams ahead of them gather all the recognition while they get nothing? Think i might help myself to another cool refreshing glass of schadenfreude.
  15. Cheers GB for summarising all our thoughts so eloquently
  16. Sevco emphatically lost to Tic today, so a win for us today will effectively wrap up 2nd due to GD. Although even a loss has the silver lining of keeping alive St Johnstone and Hearts overtaking Sevco and taking their Euro spot away. In fact, maybe we should just let Saints win...
  17. 5-1 Tic, time for a new manager for the Zombies?
  18. [ "Swimming against the tide" is not the same as spouting sensationalist, alarmist, factually misrepresentative pish. McLean's personal support is irrelevant in a professional setting (sensationalist), he is unlikely to have upped his form in the last few months just impress Sevco (alarmist), and his contract is not up at the end of the season (factually misrepresentative). Incidentally, i suggest you check the political demographics in both Oxford and Edinburgh before you unwittingly fall into the same trap.
  19. Fit were you doing there?
  20. Shocking decision. However, what is funny is this: Zombies will burst with conspiracy theories now
  21. Save yer fishing for the stadium thread min.
  22. To be fair, it takes a particularly dodgy curry to need everything up to the back page, so you may as well laugh at whats left.
  23. Pretty much what i thought when i saw the "story". They've done Jack and McLean, we should hold a sweepstake for who's next - i reckon they'll keep working through our midfield and next puffpiece will pretend Shinnie gives two shites about them.
  24. Thank Christ for that, i read the title of this thread too fast and thought Willie Collum had taken a seat on ACC.
