*cough* Pedant here again. Cyclists are allowed to cycle on the road (unless it's a motorway), regardless of whether there is a cycle path. Whether they may want to is a different matter.

7-2? FFS McGhee, you can't even get all the goals in the correct net. Clown.

Looks like it's just Weshill & Elrick Community Council rather than the shire council, or have I missed something? Regardless, absolutely small minded of them. Edit: I haven't read the minutes of the main document, just item 7. I read it, mainly because i'm a right pedant. There are no minutes because the Garioch Area Committee meeting in question is not until the 21st Feb. The linked document is a detailed consultation response written by Aberdeenshire Council Infrastructure Services, and includes Westhill & Elrick Community Council's own responses in the appendices. Item 7 on the agenda in the original post is for Garioch Area Committee to discuss the consultation response and see if they want to add their own points, before presumably the whole lot is handed over to Aberdeen City Council as a formal document. In terms of what those responses are, I've pasted Aberdeenshire Council's conclusion below. The TL;DR version is that Aberdeenshire Council have fairly serious concerns over transportation and parking, a few over environmental health, and some minor ones. They have recommended a holding objection on the planning application over transportation until these are addressed. However, they are not against a new stadium per se, they just want to see it done properly, and they sound a bit peeved that they weren't involved (as they should have been) in the application process as part of the county-wide SDP, which still reflects the previous site. If you read Westhill & Elrick Community Council's own responses in Appendix 3 though (which i haven't pasted), it's pretty clear they dinnae want it at all in what feels a fairly NIMBYish tone, although some of the points they raise are the same as Aberdeenshire Council and are just as valid.

Loan Summary for w/e 11/2/17: Smith and Storie both had starts, and Cammy scored one, in St Mirren's 3-2 cup win over East Fife. Yet another clean sheet for Danny Rogers in a 3-0 win over Dundee Utd ( ), another start for Shankland in Morton's 1-0 win over Raith Rovers (but nae goals). McKenna was an unused sub for Ayr's 1-1 cup draw with Clyde, while Thomas wasn't picked for Montrose's game against Arbroath. Plenty of time yet for the loon though presumably. Aaron Lennox still sucking soup through a straw, and Dumbarton had no games this week so no runout for Harvie. Selling Hayes to an English club is one matter, but I seriously doubt our board would have sold our best player to our closest (in league table terms) rivals halfway through the season for any sum. We're not Dundee Utd. -

What, Reece Oxford who knocked them back for mighty Reading, that Reece Oxford? -
The last away draw Sevco had in the Scottish cup was the 3rd round of the 2014-15 cup, more than 2 years ago.

Celtic v St Mirren Aberdeen v Partick Thistle Hibernian or Hearts v Clyde or Ayr Utd Rangers v Hamilton or Dunfermline I think the only shock in there is that the zombies didn't draw Clyde/Ayr Utd.
-
Oh is he? I take that back then.
-
Aye, i think Shankland was a bit of a speculative punt on our part, but doesn't seem to be progressing beyond Championship/L1 level. Not even on the bench today against the zombies.

right so, hang on.... i'm confused. According to this BBC story, Sevco have said the Hat, his assman and the chief scout have all resigned, but they have all denied this? Reading further, it sounds like the three of them approached Sevco to negotiate their release for the Nott Forest jobs, and Sevco agreed to waive wanting compensation. Then they didn't get the jobs, but Sevco saw an opportunity to sack them without paying THEM compensation, and accepted their previous resignations? That's too funny  I'm pretty sure Deek has more sense than to touch this lot with Willo's hathanger. -

Saw these two in the BBC gossip section, looks like Sevco's much-heralded chief scout is dumping them, but Sevco are busy trying to make it look like they are sacking him -
Shankland played the full 90 for Morton in their 1-0 win over Raith last night (but didn't score). The phrase below is becoming worryingly common in match reports:
-
If that's an assist then he'll need to split it with Joe Lewis - they were the only ones to touch the ball, which didn't even hit the ground between one goalkick and goal.

The world according to TRUTH, not western lies

The problem is not targeted marketing per se, but how it is used and by who. Traditional advertising is regulated to avoid falsehoods, exaggerations and exploitation of vulnerable audiences (eg. children). Social media combined with big data analysis allows for deliberately seeking out vulnerable target audiences and then feeding them any "alternative facts" you like to influence their views and, most importantly, is completely unregulated. This is abhorrent enough when the marketer is a corporation trying to sell a commercial product, but is becomes truly worrying when the marketer is not trying to sell toothpaste or an iphone, but is instead aiming to influence political, cultural and social opinion for their own gain - this is manipulation of the lowest form. And just a minor point as an example from which you can draw your own conclusions - Steve Bannon is a board member of Cambridge Analytica. If a government interrogating your data to feed you lies that play on your worst fears and steer your reactions would be (rightly) viewed as fascist, authoritarian and reprehensible, what about individual politicians now seated on the US National Security Council?. -
Got to be a contender for goal of the season, never mind month

I fear this shortage is just the tip of the iceberg.

Loan Summary for w/e 4/2/17: Cammy Smith got an assist in St Mirren's 2-2 draw with Dumbarton, in which Smith, Storie and Harvie all played the full 90 minutes. Danny Rogers had a clean sheet for Falkirk's 2-0 win over Dunfermline, while Lawrence Shankland was a start for Morton's 3-0 loss to QoS. No sign of Scott McKenna in team or bench for Ayr Utd, but Dylan Thomas got a 7 minute runout for L2 Montrose. Finally, Aaron Lennox is still out counting his teeth, after taking a boot to the face in a bounce match back in January and gaining a fractured jaw.
