  1. By fecking christ will someone take that bloody trumpet off that fan standing near the BBC radio commentators for the Rep. Ireland - Wales match or i'm going to get a fast flight over there and ram it up his arse as he emerges from the stadium
  2. ^ See, that's how to write a counter-argument without starting on the defensive and descending into conspiracy. Welcome to the board Jess. I dinnae agree with you on Pittodrie, mind. I do think we all acknowledge that Kingsford has issues that need to be fully addressed before the build goes ahead, and transport is the big one.
  3. Loan Summary for w/e 5/3/17: Cammy started and came close to scoring in St Mirren's 2-0 win over Hibs, with Storie still relegated to the bench as an unused sub. Rogers got back to clean sheets with Falkirk's 2-0 win over QOTS, while Shankland had a week off with no games on for Morton. Harvie scored Dumbarton's only goal of the game with a 12-yard drive in the 86th minute, although only after Dunfermline (mainly Nicky Clark) had hammered 5 past them. Raith had the wierdest news of the week, after their other two goalkeepers joined Aaron (still crocked) Lennox with injuries, and every attempt they made to get an emergency loan in, including offering to permanently sign Lennox from us to free up a loan spot, failed. In the end Ryan Stevenson went in goal, where he somehow managed to keep McKenna and co to only putting one past him. Talking of Scott McKenna... Sent off with a straight red at the end of the 1st half of Ayr's 3-1 Scottish Cup defeat to Hibs, after mistaking John McGinn for the ball. In RicoS321's word's: In League 2, Dylan Thomas finally got a start for Montrose in their Tuesday 2-1 win over Clyde, and by all accounts made the most of it, eventually being subbed in the 84th minute. He was then rewarded with his usual spot on the bench, an unused sub in Saturday's 3-2 loss to Annan Athletic. 4. I'll do it a week at a time... Loan Summary for w/e 25/2/17: Smith started for St Mirren's 2-0 win over Ayr Utd (and picked up a yellow card), but Storie and McKenna were unused subs, in Storie's case possibly because he was utter gash the previous week. Rogers and Harvie continued their regular starts for the 2-2 draw between Falkirk and Dumbarton, a score that seems to be a favourite of both clubs at the moment. Shankland also started for Morton in their 1-1 draw with Dundee "10 points" Utd, before being replaced after 74 minutes. In League 2, Dylan Thomas was an unused sub for the 0-0 draw with Forfar. Lennox still crocked. 5. Scott Brown? Or have i got that the wrong way round.
  6. It's Oxford, everyone goes on a bike
  7. Recent events in the real world relegating fitba to a distant 2nd i'm afraid. I'll see if i can pull some lunchtime updates together And aye, liked the fact that Ross got a run out, although can't say i noticed how he did with his 4 minutes of fame.
  8. Hemmin, you can't start your first post with this: and then storm off in a huff 4 posts later. I wanted to hear more about the floodlights.
  9. Well, i enjoyed that. Shinnie and McLean looking like they were making a point - even Chr*s S*tt*n talked them up. Shinnie is surely our next captain. Oh, and feck yer "title party" shite.
  10. Whats especially pleasing is that we're now a league & 10 points ahead of them
  11. In the case of the U21 squad, i didn't say there should be, i merely pointed out there wasn't.
  12. No Dons in the Scottish U21 squad either. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/39283375
  13. Surprised nobody has mentioned this yet. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-scotland-business-39258190 The bit that cracks me up is his quote at the end: Interesting interpretation there of being delisted in 2015
  14. called up to the Rep. Ireland and NI squads for their WC qualifiers. Shinnie and Mclean must be cursing that they are not Irish. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/39255460 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/39229078
  15. Bye Peter, you were good but maybe nae as good as we thought, and then you thought, you were. Cheers onywye. Looking at when these players tend to sign extensions, i see no cause for alarm just yet. Jack signed his in June 2013 and May 2015, and McGinn signed in May 2013 and Dec 2014. In other words, if its not done in December, it won't be addressed again until at least May. That doesn't however mean that they are necessarily off, just that it probably won't be focused on until then.
  16. True, i've got a long train journey tomorrow so i might dae it when i'm bored of watching sheep whizz past backwards
  17. Hah, right enough - just tried it both in chrome and an icognito firefox window and it does the same. I guess you have to have accessed the link from the planning documents list first, or something. That's a pain. Edit - that's indeed what it is - there's a unique token generated in the link when you click from the planning documents list. If it is removed, it still gives the error message so can't get round it that way either. Pain in the arse. I'm afraid you'll have to go to the original link and find them individually if you want to view them.
  18. Nope, they work for me - they just go straight to the PDFs. What you trying to open them on?
  19. Thats far too expensive looking. I reckon it's more like this:
  20. I had a (very) quick scan, there are definitely duplications, but indications would be that they are not directly by the residents themselves - rather the duplicates tend to be where a resident has completed the tickbox form the opposition group have been getting folk to sign, and the same form has been submitted more than once. There are also a number of other errors in their bulk submissions. Examples: 170021_DPP-Objects__LRep_-_A_Scott-1461161.pdf and 170021_DPP-Objects__LRep_-_A_Scott-1463054.pdf are two separate scans of the same completed form. The handwriting is identical but the redaction of the signatures is different, indicating it was scanned, modified and submitted twice. 170021_DPP-Objects___LRep_-_A_Stewart-1477420.pdf No checkboxes ticked, therefore no concrete objection, plus also potential duplicate of 170021_DPP-Objects___LRep_-_A_Stewart-1477423.pdf (although this could be a husband/relative at the same address with a forename beginning with A). In both cases, the name submitted is Stewart whereas the actual resident's name is Stuart. 170021_DPP-Objects__LRep_-_A_Duncan-1470391.pdf submitted claiming to be on someone else's behalf, which is invalid, AFAIK. Also a duplicate of 170021_DPP-Objects__LRep_-_A_Duncar-1470388.pdf, which has been incorrectly entered as "A Duncar", instead of "A Duncan". That was in a 30 second check of 4 potential groups of duplicate names, where 3 of those groups showed the errors above. That doesn't suggest a lot of confidence in the quality of the data inputting of these forms (by the opposition group directly or by the council - whoever created these records). Disclaimer: i am neither for nor against the proposed stadium location, but shoddy handling of information gets my goat every time.

  22. Enrique obviously decided the Sevco job was too much of an honour to turn down and resigned to spare them the compensation.
  23. Mental, Raith forced to play Ryan Stevenson in goal, as SPFL refused to postpone game even though all of Raith's keepers are out injured and they couldn't get an emergency loan.
  24. I looked him up on Wikipedia. It's true.
