  1. I'm waiting for the press release to be issued stating that Ferguson will be given the "interim" job until Ranieri/De Boer/Mourinho/2nd coming of Christ etc "become available". Because of course nobody would dream of turning down the opportunity to manage Sevco, it's just they are all a little busy right now to take the call. Oh, and please make sure you renew those season tickets in the meantime.
  2. Well shipped more goals in one half today than we have in 2017.
  3. Shinnie starts, Christie on the bench, no Stockley supersub moment this game though as Storey has his place on the bench.
  4. Finishing off the last couple of drams in the bottle of this for today's game:
  5. We could feasibly be 15 points clear of Sevco by next Sunday - and if we hammer Motherwell again on Saturday, we might get the added bonus of pushing McGoo into last place too. Looking forward to it.
  6. I'm getting good at this - switched off after Sevco pen, switched back on to see McKays shot went in. Highly efficient zombie viewing Aaaand.. they've lost
  7. Lee Wallace falls over in the box, penalty. 1-1
  8. He even managed to deflect it in off a zombie's face for added bonus points
  9. 1-0 Caley. I literally opened the stream just in time to see Greg Tansey batter the ball in.
  10. That entire story is spun out of one throwaway line in his interview:
  11. Ironically, i would say that traditionally sentimentality is the very lifeblood of football, as the majority of fans are attached to their clubs through an irrational personal bond, regardless of how shite or well they are doing. It's why former players are often the first to be touted for managerial positions, and why potential signings to or from traditionally rival clubs can be met with huge resistance ("he's a hun" etc). However, the more that corporate (TV) money replaces fan-generated money, the more that will influence a club's decisions over what the fans think, and as you rightly say, corporations have no room for sentimentality.
  12. some of those tweets have timestamps later than the timestamp of the story - clear case of write the headline then fill in the rest later
  13. What they need now is an inspirational manager - one with a record of defying seemingly insurmountable odds, of achieving the impossible, one who will gain such success and riches for the club that his very name will become legend amongst supporters. If they hurry and phone down to the front desk, he might not have had time to leave the building yet.
  14. *cough* Just testing, you understand... well spotted.
  15. Oot T'internet Oot 3-2: McGinn, Rooney to put us in control in 1st half, 2nd half Taylor sent off & penalty, dodgy goal from corner to make the last 15 minutes erse-clenching until sub Stockley pops up to score in the last 3 minutes.
  16. 100/1 x pie = 314/1
  17. Loan Summary for w/e 18/2/17: Cammy Smith cuptied for St Mirren's Challenge Cup 4-1 win over Welsh side TNS, Storie started but had a poor match and was subbed at half time. Shankland had a goal rather harshly disallowed for a handball in the buildup in Morton's 2-2 draw with Falkirk, which also ended Danny Roger's run of clean sheets. Harvie played the full 90 for Dumbarton in their 2-2 draw with Ayr Utd while McKenna warmed the bench. In League 2, Thomas was also an used sub in Montrose's 1-1 draw with Edinburgh City. 18. Paddypower have him at 100/1 to become the next zombies manager
  19. 2004 just called and wants its news back. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marvin_Heemeyer It was indeed insane though.
  20. All the more reason to stoke even the faintest rumours regarding him. If there's any journalists looking in, Coyle has just popped in to a number of reputable betting companies' odds for next zombie manager at 16/1 and climbing. That's higher than Ronald De Boer who is at 20/1. Pass it on.
  21. sacked by Blackburn for being too shite even for Blackburn. Next Sevco manager? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/39044853
  22. His team did win, it was the one he gets paid to manage that lost.
  23. He demonstrated quite clearly what he was signed for yesterday - to give us a Plan B when Plan A is not working. Not sure he should be viewed as a Rooney replacement or anything similar, that's not really his purpose.
  24. FT 2-1 Dundee.
  25. 41 minutes played, Dundee 2 - Zombies 0 I like today.
