Ok girls and boys, you think you’re so great but there’s no other way to say it. I can include a song 2.

Slightly different take on the window, Stewart, Roos, and Richardson all gone, 3 players who I don’t think were good enough for our first team. Roos was a good shot stopper but very weak with a high ball and poor off his line. throw in Ryan Duncan out on loan, not sure he’ll be good enough for us but the right move sending him on loan. Jensen is average and no loss if we don’t see him back. Thelin said it would take time, the next few months may well determine the dons futures of mcgarry, morris, gueye, and Vinny. Perhaps even add sokler and Ambrose to that list. Think Vinny and gueye have certainly bought themselves a bit of time, but these guys are squad players who either need to improve or be moved on. suspect Macdonald will move on at Xmas or next summer due to a lack of playing time. Hope duk does not return and maybe we get a few pounds for him, but his behavior has certain reduced his value.

Dude, I’m with you too. My 9yr old pup ruptured a disc last year, nearly died, and we paid $12k at the time for emergency surgery. 6 months after putting down our 10 yr old pup due to cancer. Another ruptured disc 3 months ago, another $$$ medical bill. They aren’t just animals, part of the family. Was scheduled for a family holiday back to Britain in June but cancelled due to nursing the pup. People have looked at me weird at work cos I do all this for my dogs but they are my kids!! Hang in there!

No Campbell, now no Johnson, and Richardson has gone. Crushed!
-
I’m thinking we bring in a winger which allows us to loan out Morris, and a (left) central defender then Macdonald moves on. I think Vinny has bought himself a second chance. I don’t think we’ll pad out the squad further but it may be the case of a couple in and a few out before the end of the month.

Thought clarkson was out for around 8 weeks. I can’t see much change if any, think we’ll stick with sokler and maybe see nisbet our starting 9 after the international break. That will pretty much have given him 3 1/2 weeks training and he should be a little sharper and lighter! While nisbet is ‘fit,’ he does need to shed a few pounds based on what we see. same 11 that beat, killie 2-1 us, sokler and McGrath
-
Yup. Partly the reason I thought we’d see Barron in the squad. Bit surprised he’s not.

Deleted my post while multitasking. Hope we ditch 3 at the back and either go 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3. Wonder if Ramsay gets a right back call up? Not by any means a set fixture at Wigan but a decent right back on his day. Possibly souttar and McKenna in the middle, Robertson at left back. Don’t know if we have a right mid, Lewis Morgan maybe. Forrest is a step backwards imho but possibly a short term fix. Possibly Barron and McLean at center mid and christie on the left. Mcginn behind adams. Very lightweight. bench with a number of guys who aren’t playing much at the moment, shankland (off form?), Conroy, ralston, porteous, Hanley, recall for mcburnie, Gauld, dykes….is doak fit? we are lacking talent…

Give him time…..

Another impressive showing from sivert, cruises through games. He’s a good signing (although not so sure on 3 years.) I know ante played little, but looks a big athletic lad, good to have him to rotate and give the old guys a breather.

After watching today I think we’re one or two players short. I think Milne and Macdonald are good enough cover at the back, but if Macdonald goes it’s one more there. I hope we get the Aussie wide player in, would really rather see another wide player come in so we don’t rely on Morris. another game where Morris could have and should have created a scoring chance, but his decision making yet again fails him. so 1-2 more players. Think we have a decent squad and that would be the perfect final week.

Feel pretty similar to this, meh performance, didn’t think we were very good today but it’s great to get another win. Killie were clearly not at their best and didn’t push us as much as they would have if they’d no Europe like us. We didn’t see many/any of the attacking combinations that we’ve seen in previous games, no link up play from the forwards and attacking runs in behind, but for the most part we were in total control of that game. Thought devlin rarely attacked and McGrath was quieter than normal. Topi didn’t do anything much either. sokler is playing himself out of a starting role. Another game he hasn’t scored, when he should have. If nisbet is fit and gets a full week of training in I think he starts next weekend. shout out or morris, another game where I shout ffs morris at the iPad. Another passage of play where we are in a great attacking spot and Morris makes the wrong decision. 3 out of 3 in the league while the squad transitions, good to get the window closed and a secure a steady team and rotations.

As compared to mitov who seems to be a good talent, a real personality, and full of confidence. Good signing from what we see so far. see little to suggest Ambrose is a solid signing. Whereas I think there is something about gueye. I think he scores today. Still feel he’ll come off the bench when clarkson is fit, but I think there’s something there.
-
Ambrose on loan, we agree on that. And I doubt duk will play for us ever again. But I don’t see anywhere that Nisbet is an attitude problem/issue other than Millwall. Is this getting blown out of proportion? Is it a coach/player personality clash, what’s the issue? Maybe I’ve missed it where he has ongoing attitude issues from club to club. im disappointed we don’t have a loan to buy option if the report I saw is correct, that bothers me and is the pisser on this deal.

Just watched the red tv interview, seems pretty enthusiastic and eager to play for us, get back into the Scotland squad etc. says he’s fit and raring to go. he’s not bojan, but as I said already, a little bit like signing Adam Rooney. I think he’s a goal scorer and will do well. No pre agreed option to buy from what I read.

So is it a Millwall issue or has he had this issue at other clubs? Without further info we do not know, clash with the manager etc….. if it was ongoing repeatedly at clubs I’d get it, but haven’t heard this from his previous clubs??
-
What’s the attitude concern? Rumors of being overweight and not coming back in shape but is this a career thing? Maybe a Lawrence shankland situation where the penny finally drops and he focuses on footie??
-
I’d compare it to signing Adam Rooney (arguably better given his previous price tag.) Not a glamor striker but good and effective for our league. Wonder if it’s loan with a fee agreed for a permanent transfer?? Plus another player, maybe in the ante situation, who is keen to get back to fitness and form and has a point to prove. while not a bojan glamor foreigner, it’s signing a good Scottish player which is a good thing.
-
Seeing this morning he’s on his way up for a medical and his loan is agreed. Anyone got anything positive to say about this? Proven success up here, although just one season for the most part with hibs I think. something that is a factor to me, he’s Scottish, need that in our team!
-
Jensen out on loan, bit surprised at that given we’re linked/the gossip is we are looking to bring in a defender. I’d assume that it has to be pretty near to a new arrival is we’re letting Jensen go. Hope we get the Aussie in, I’d like to see Keskinen and vinnie wide tomorrow and him being competition to them in the future. Think Connie got a good kick up the arse, and when clarkson is fit McGrath can also play on the left (or right) too. im warming to Kevin Nisbet, he gets in shape while sokler is given the opportunity to be our 9. Nisbet was a proven success in Scotland and has lost his way, motivated to play and get back into the Scotland squad. Good age too. Loan deal is low risk high reward.
-
But will he be as impactful as mcgarry? Or are we using mcgarry in the recruitment process? are we in talks over a nisbet loan??
-
I think we’ll give them a decent spanking. They haven’t started the league well, out the cup, I expect a loss in Europe, and already fatigue appears to be an issue with them. Flip side we are on a run, confidence is high, and it’s a home game after a week of solid training. really hope we play Vinny and keskinen wide from the start with McGrath behind sokler. Also want to see ante come on in the second half. Think we’ll get our first penalty of the year that sokler will score. 4-1 us. Sokler 2, keskinen, McGrath
-
Assuming that’s an accurate and recent pic, he’s no where near in the condition to play the way JT wants. our transfers have been private, plus creative. This seems lazy. I just don’t see truth in this one, as has been said, is he any better than sokler? As much as there was probably nothing in the st johnstone player rumor, he at least was something different….and fit. from what we see, Ambrose and gueye aren’t good enough to be our main starter, and questions being asked of sokler. If we do sign a forward it makes no sense to sign a mother back up or work in progress player. Needs to be a fit and ready starter.
-
Not overly exciting but I read it’s for a loan deal, not a permanent signing. I’d assume loan with option to buy? Did well at hibs but I really haven’t paid that much attention to know if he’s any good. Then again, I don’t think shankland is that good but seems to be doing ok at that wee Edinburgh club.
