When we had an 18 team league before, I'm of the understanding that not all of then were full time professional clubs and the difference in standard throughout the league was huge, which should be less of a problem now as the top 5/6/7/8 teams in the 1st Division could easily play in the SPL. I could be wrong though, as I am rather young.

He played well against Hull, but was he not awful in his only other game for us? I'd rather see some young Scottish player come through from our youth system, there must be someone? I firmly believe this is our biggest problem. You could realistically live in Glasgow/Edinburgh and be at training within an hour(or so) playing for any SPL side, except the Dons. We tried the whole commuting thing with McNamara, which clearly didn't work. It's a huge problem, and the only way we can really overcome it is by giving them inflated wages, which naturally we can't afford. How depressing.

Get out, go, please. The experiment has failed. Time to try something/one else.
